Help Us Fix The Inventory Bug!

If you have an inventory that re-organize itself when using the inventory arranger, and have the Google Chrome Remote Desktop extension installed, I need your help!

I'm trying to reproduce the problem but with no luck, so I'm hoping that I can get on a computer with this bug happening and do a little bit of debugging.

Please PM me before 7PM PST if you have:

- Inventory arranger bug where items get shuffled around after saving, or have item in temp storage that cannot be moved back to main storage
- Have Google Chrome Remote Desktop installed, and have Remote Assistance installed, running, with a share code ready
- No problem with me accessing your web browser as I debug the problem. whee

Inventory Arranger debugging

There had been some problems with the new inventory arranger, and we're fixing the issue as we speak. It should be back up before 6PM, PST.

Once the update is complete, there will be some new functions:
- There is now an option to enable/disable item stacking! Option is located on the bottom of the inventory page.
- Default stacking option is Disabled. When you turn the option on, it'll sort through your duplicate items.
- Marketplace will respect stacking option also

There are still bugs to be fixed. If you're having trouble, please let me know in the following thread:

Recent Inventory Bug Fixes

- The bug with stacked items arranging themselves when stacking is disabled had been fixed
- The bug with incorrect page number is fixed
- I've made some changes to the drag and drop library. Hope that will resolve the Chrome browser problem where dragging doesn't work

Big thank you for those who figured out it was their touchscreen laptops where Chrome drag and drop was not working. That helped a lot in guiding me to fix the bug. Also thanks for all who reported the other bugs. Wouldn't be able to fix them quickly without your feedback. 3nodding

Tonight's inventory fix

- Fixed cache not busting after inventory refresh, causing further item moves to fail
- Fixed item disappear after moving on per page stacking
- Fixed Item inconsistencies when moving between global stacking and non-stacking
- Fixed Astra items sitting in equip tab
- Fixed Marketplace removing the icon of a stack of items after selling just one

Still can't fix the bug with touchscreen laptops not being able to move with mouse. Will work on that later.

It has been a busy month for us here at Gaia HQ, and we wanted to provide you all with a bit of insight about how things are going. As you may know, Gaia is currently in the middle of a transition period, with the return of lanzer and a number of other former staff members. We've been listening to your feedback and concerns, and we'd like to thank you for your continued support and interest in improving the Gaia Online experience.

Although we're still in the middle of this transition period, we feel it's important to take some time to let you all know that we encourage you to keep telling us what you are looking for out of Gaia. While not all feedback will be implemented, we will take it into consideration as a possibility. If you have any suggestions moving forward, please let us know!

While it's going to take some time, we are in the midst of stabilizing the Gaia economy as well as the Gaia business, and patching up some active features. Our goal is to make Gaia a more fun environment to be involved in for everyone, and we'd also like to provide more benefits to our yearly and monthly supporters that are making these strides possible. There are exciting new things coming on the horizon, so keep logging in, keep checking it out, and keep offering your feedback!
