I am no longer doing this quest. Too many new items keep coming out that are ridiculously priced. I'm proud at how close I got to completing this - that's enough for me smile Keeping this up to show how I did in the year that I quested. Thanks to all the helpers - I really appreciate it!

Hello and welcome to my new quest thread, All You Can Eat! I am a mom who is in love with all the food-related items on here. Guess that's attributed to my love of food and cooking in real life! So, with a crazy idea & a little inspiration from a friend's quest (as well as some time on my hands), I decided to start up a quest thread just to see how many of these items I could get! Hopefully some of yall will hang out here and keep me company - I always up for chatting. So without further adieu, on with the quest!

Let's see, a little about me. Well, since my name really is Faith, you can call me that. I wasn't very original on the whole username bit. I'm a 22 year old working mom to two boys - Aiden who's 3 1/2 & Peyton who's 5 months. I'm also married to the most wonderful guy, Michael. He's also on Gaia but not nearly as much as I am.

In real life I love cooking. I am always trying something new (much to my family's dismay - well, sometimes, haha). Since I love it so much, I decided to devote my questing to all the food items on here. That way I can continue to make as many yummy avatars as I want! I just started working at Bojangles (which is a fast food restaurant) so that just further shows my love for cooking (this is my 3rd job - all of which involve cooking.)

Besides cooking, I love watching movies, working on graphics for layouts (profiles, threads, anything - I love designing) & going to the river and park with my family. I also LOVE music (rock & metal). Music can motivate you to do just about anything!

And now I think that shall suffice - if you want more, just ask!

Ok, before I show the list of what I'm collecting, I'm going to state what I'm NOT collecting. I'll state my reasoning for each. This is so people won't have to worry about informing me of other items that I left out as I have no intention on collecting them. They are:

User Image

Clothing & items that have foods in their names but show no liking to food (Strawberry Clown Shoes, Cherry Picnic Sun Dress, Pumpkin Spice Mistress Dress, Candy Corn Witchling Dress, etc): Foods are used as descriptions all the time but if it bears no resemblance, it defeats the purpose of me collecting food related items only.

Game Items (All fish types, fish hats): They're not food items and they're not equippable.

Aquarium Items (2009 Easter Egg, Banana Tree, Cute Cherry Tree, Easter Egg Drop, Graceful Cherry Tree, Green Coconut Tree, Lime Coconut Tree, Salmon Sushi, Sushi Roll, Tamago Sushi, Aquarium Tuna Sushi & Candy Corn Drop): I don't re-decorate my aquarium & the items aren't equippable on my avatar so none of these would be of use to me.

Car Items (California Roll Hubcaps, Scion Toaster & Dango Antenna): Same reason as aquarium items.

House Appliance & Decorative Items (Chairs, Tables, Fish, Vending Machines, Stoves, etc) - Same reason as aquarium items.

zOMG recipes that create food items (Recipe: Cherry Ring Pop, etc): I will just collect the food items themselves that the recipes create.

zOMG Food Drops (Chocolate Egg, Garlic, Garlic Essence, Garlic Peel, Garlic Sprout, & Peppermint): Cannot be equipped and all can be used for food items that I am questing.

Fruits from Emerald Seed (6 total), Snow Apples (2 total) & Midsummer Swirls (15 total): All three are cash shop items that can be "opened" for other prizes. They can't be equipped so there's no point. I will collect the food related items that come out of them.

Easter Event Items (Blue Easter Egg, Easter Basket, Easter Basket 2k5, Easter Basket 2K6 (1-6), Easter Egg, Large Easter Egg, Medium Easter Egg, Orange Easter Egg, Small Easter Egg): They cannot be equipped & can be opened to reveal other items.

Halloween Event Items that aren't food related (Jack's 2k7 Armor Plate, Jack Grab Bags, etc): Same reason as Easter event items.

Any Skittles Item that doesn't have candy on it (Skittles Beanie, Top Hat, Tuxedo, etc.) - Doesn't show any resemblance to food.

Tomo and Tama's Basket: The basket contains an egg but its not edible - its what the raccoon comes out of. So I don't count that as food.

Gaia-tan (Kawaii Apron) & Gaia-sama (Sekushii Apron): These items have no direct food items - just two aprons. As much as I'd like to own them, I just don't want to pay millions for aprons. If I get them later on, I'll add them to my list. But for now, I'm not questing them.

If you know of any other food items not listed below, please contact me & let me know (either post here or PM me)! Besides food items, I'm also collecting chef clothing (aprons, hats, mitts, etc.) It goes with the food items perfectly & will help me create more food-ish avatars! To help me get some more notice, I'm starting a bump contest for all interested. You will get paid 4g for every bump you do! I will pay you after every 50 bumps. Just make sure to number ALL your bumps - I can't go back and count all of them one by one! And no cheating - I will see obvious skips (and no one likes those.)

Using the gaia random number generator, generate a random number between 1 and 150. If you get 47 or 87 you will win 1,000g! You can roll as many times as you want - even if you've already won. You can also do this while bumping - that gives you double the chance of winning!

Below are all the wonderful food items I've bought in the Mini Shops on Gaia throughout the years. Don't steal! I've resized a bunch of them & probably going to tag all of them eventually. If you want to know where I got a certain item(s) from, ask! I have the full size of all of these items, plus my non-food toy box items in my journal.
