              This is a hiring thread for an already established shop: Cosmic Animalia.

              We currently have 2 fulltime colorists, 1 parttime colorist, and 1 guest colorist. One of our fulltimes is on hiatus, so we need someone new to take on a couple of colorings for the Christmas season.

              Hiring will end when we have found what we need.

              Don't apply if you are already working in 2 shops or more, I want dedicated people!

              We are looking to hire:
                ◆ Colorists that can edit, see next post.


              ★ So you want to be a manager?!!

                Thread Managers must be really active in thread and on Gaia, minimum of 1-2 hours online per day. Your account must be at least one year old, have a large amount of posts, and not look like a n00b, what can I say.

                You must:
                ◆ be a fun and easy person to work with
                ◆ have good grammar
                ◆ know what is going on at CosAni at all times
                ◆ be creative and come up with new ideas, stories, and events
                ◆ be trustworthy! You will have mule access, and gold from events and pets will go there before being distributed. You are not to touch any of it besides distributing gold to colorists.
                ◆ show your dedication by bumping/chatting either here or the main thread.
                ◆ graphics, thread layouts, and writing skills are a plus! +++

                Your Job Includes:
                ◆ helping bump (not spam) the thread every so often, answering questions, and most importantly, chat and make everyone who comes into the thread feel welcome and want to stay.
                ◆ running events or flatsales when I am not around
                ◆ cleaning up after events and make sure people know to post in the certing thread
                ◆ updating the Moonstone Mine EVERYDAY, owner's list, things in guild
                ◆ if you can do it, I may ask you to write stories for the shop, set up events, or make graphics and banners for events

                I can make exceptions if you are going to be away on vacation or something, but I have to be notified beforehand.
                Payment will be discussed, but it will be a monthly gold payment with more during events, and you can choose to have a free pet instead if you want.

                ★ So you want to be a colorist?!!
                + Must be able lineart edit, draw hair, and shade their own edits! I have a few colorists that cannot shade well or at all, so I really need someone who can draw some awesome edits (like me ;]
                + NO preset brushes (stamps) to design.
                + Know how to work Photoshop layering styles (multiply/color burn/screen/etc.) and be able to change them for the template to make your coloring look good.
                + Must have good color taste
                + Be able to work with deadlines
                + Be able to take criticism and edit if necessary
                + Be able to open .PSD files with "grouping" folders correctly (Photoshop CS or above, not sure about other programs, but may require you to tweak the laying styles if its not PS. PS Elements cannot open groups!!! You're on your own for this, I prefer you have PS. I'll say it now; I might not hire you if you do not have PS. Throw a fit all you want, I'm tired of trying to fix people's problems for programs I don't use.)
                + Volunteer for a free raffle coloring once in awhile for events
                + Check the main thread for coloring examples
                + Must be someone I can get in contact with and post in the main thread every so often! If you are not active, you might be dropped. Sorry, I can't deal with colorists who are not around to sell their own pets.

                    ★ Full-Time Colorists must be active in thread and are expected to be able to complete at least 2-3 complete sets (3 stages per set: baby, adolescent, and adult) per month. There is also a 4th stage that requires RP/activity/gold to obtain, which you are required to do the coloring for if you've done the coloring for the rest of the stages.
                    Benefits
                    After completing 9 sets--
                    + 1 freebie pet per month to keep yourself, trade, or give away. Uncommons and rares may be given, at my discretion.

                    ★ Part-Time Colorists must be active in thread and are expected to be able to complete at least 1 complete sets (3 stages per set: baby, adolescent, and adult) per month. There is also a 4th stage that requires RP/activity/gold to obtain, which you are required to do the coloring for if you've done the coloring for the rest of the stages.
                    Benefits
                    Aftering completing 4 sets, edits or no--
                    + 1 freebie pet per month to keep yourself, trade, or give away. Uncommons are rares may be given, at my discretion.

                    Not hiring guests at this time...
                    ★ Guest Colorists-- *Only if you are awesome, not a priority* will only color pets for events/some flatsales when granted and you can opt out of them if you do not have the time. Line editing is almost a must, and you must be really good at edits to choose this option.
                    Benefits
                    Gold. If you prefer a free pet, this can be discussed.


                ★ Gold pay for all colorings
                More work=more pay. Blah work=less and you're going to get fired soon.
                Overall, I decide your pay depending on the amount of work I feel you have given.
                * Flatsales: 70% (7K)
                * Adoptions: 50% (auction type of sale, very rare events)
                * Raffles: 70-80% depending on complexity
                * Auctions/Breeding: 80-90% depending on complexity and number of Pups for breeding
                * Customs: 90%
                The maximum amount of gold you get from auctions is 300K. (May go up as we become more popular)

                You will receive payment after all stages must be sent to me and your pet has been sold. You are not responsible for growing or certing the pets or creating new species. You only have to color!

                ★ Breeding Slots can be open whenever you want, but I have to grant them to you first. They are in addition to the required sets above. There might be another hiring for breeders if breeding slots become high in demand.

                ★ Freebie Pets must be colored by you! or ask whether another colorist will do it for you. Whichever, NO AMOUNT OF GOLD is to be exchanged. No excessive editting or cosplay pets for freebies. Pets can be given away or kept for yourself, and cannot be saved until the next month if you do not use your freebie pet that month. Freebies can only be used during the last week of the month.

                ★ Lineart Sample. The real pet has a template. You do not need to shade the lineart unless you are doing edits. Do not ask for a templated version because I will not be giving one out. Make sure you can open .PSD files first though.

      I might apply soon. I don't think I have gotten any better at coloring so I may or may not apply for that and we'll see how help full I can be during the event before applying for thread manager.
