I'm East, and I'm so happy to be able to share some of my kind with you!
We were all created through nanotechnology and bartending - courtesy of the shop we're located above, the wonderful -[ .hybrid TECHNICA. ]- and its scientific breakthroughs of Hytes, Bytes and Lytes.

We have three wonderful cocktails lined up for this opening event: one for a prompt-based flatsale, one for auction and one for raffle.
There's also a cute permatween mocktail for referral and games, and I hope you'll see something you like!

. About the Pets .
♠ 3-stages with unique lineart for each pet past Drink Stage
♠ C*cktails take about 1 month to fully mature: 1 week as drink, 3 weeks as child
♠ C*cktails come in both male and female forms, but with a higher female to male ratio
♠ Co-owning is allowed but discouraged - C*cktail is not liable in event of dispute
♠ Roleplaying is not required, only checking-in till Adult stage
♠ Roleplaying is entirely optional
♠ Each pet will come with a cert thread that can be used as an RP journal

PLEASE NOTE
C*CKTAIL is a spin-off from the HyTech franchise, so merchandise and presence might be more infrequent.
However, as they also require less manpower to produce, events, especially one-shot mini-events, may appear more often.

. NAMING .

C*cktail adheres to an unorthodox naming policy. To quote my verbose owner:
In tribute to the oft-dyslexic inebriation caused by overconsumption of alcohol, most C*cktail names are derived from anagrams of their original cocktail monikers.

To illustrate -

East Liqueurs In
is rearranged from
Tequila Sunrise

and

Lust Equate Sin
is rearranged from
Tequila Sunset

The entire anagram is taken as the full name on the cert, with a choice word or two - such as East or Sin - bolded to denote the casual name in daily usage.

There are three ways to arrive at a name for a C*cktail:

1. Visiting the Internet Anagram Server

One can either generate anagrams point-blank - do remember to adjust the number of anagrams generated on the advanced search page - or cut down on scrolling by first opting for the 'candidate word list', an option near the bottom of advanced search. It will give you words that could possibly be derived from the original term, which can then be used to try out anagrams structured around it.

2. Rearranging the letters yourself to form non-word names. The anagrams derived do not have to make sense - they just have to look as pretty as you want them to.

3. In the case that a C*cktail has a nigh-unanagrammable name, discuss the possibility of giving it a name that resembles the others derived from our usual naming conventions with Maxwell. In other words - you may fake an anagram phrase or word.

Why are there so little pets for sale and only one for FS?
Producing these nanites are expensive…
[IRL: As C*cktail is a spin-off from our main enterprise and a way for our colourist to get some art done himself, we're just having as much fun as we can with it. Thus, we favoured a small number of pets distributed through various methods.]

When is the next time I can get one of these?
We're running on a…flexible schedule for C*cktail, hence we can't put a specific date on it.
However, we are intending to sprinkle mini-events throughout the year, so do check back often!
Do PM East Liqueurs In if you would like to be put on the mailing list for event notifications.

When you say 'any length accepted'…
…we mean any length accepted! It can be as long or short as you'd like, though we'd recommend at least a paragraph or two. Maxwell prefers to judge by how well the entry and the character/events it describes fits the C*cktail he's created, rather than by RP and writing skill.

What if my entry for Acapulco has the same name as someone else's? NEW!
We do realise there are a highly limited number of feasible anagrams derivable from any one cocktail name, so this isn't an issue at all - though we'd hope that the same name was arrived at through individual thought processes, rather than ripped off a prior entry...but we won't have to worry about that with you guys, would we? ;D

If I win a C*cktail, could I gift it to someone else? NEW!
As long as you ensure your intended recipient is acquainted with all the information [and ideally is actually interested in our wares ^^;;], any one of the C*cktails can be gifted except for Acapulco, due to the nature of her sales method.

Considering the ostensible owners of the place...can my B/C pets/characters own the C*cktail? NEW!

Why is there a non-Gaia url in the cert?
In the event that the cert cannot be linked back to our shop, such as randomised signatures, a passerby wishing to visit our shop can access the thread through a link on hytech.silentragedy.net [as the actual shop url is too long to fit on the cert]
