Judging is up. Sher!ock didn't get her judging in, so I'm gonna have to give her another strike. (Sorry Sher...) One more strike and she'll be out. That would suck.

I'm sorry, but we need to keep this contest moving. So far, it seems the judges are doing fine.

Must use Tektek.
Layering does not have to be possible on Gaia.
You may not cange anything of your model, except hair color, unless the challenge allows it.
Wigs, contacts, and other base-altering items are allowed, unless the challenge forbids it.
Human and Vampire Potions are not allowed. Centaur , Devil Imp and Angel Imp potions are allowed.
Final Entries must be PMed to me, Teh Knightmare.
I may add more to this, if something isn't clear.

Becoming a Contestant

1. Send me an entry fee of 750g.
2. Send me a PM titled 'PMMATM models' with two bases. These bases should have a hair style and color, eyes, and a skin tone, with no mouth. If the model is female, equip her with a black and/or white dress that reachs no farther than her knees and doesn't completely cover the arms and Black SKA shoes. If male, black and/or whte t-shirt and shorts, with Black SKA shoes.

What's the dealio with the Models?

Each of the contestants will create two bases, which totals 34 models. I will create 6 more, making 40. I will then choose, randomly, 20 of these models to be official. I will randomly assign them to you for the first challenge. Each round, after the results are posted and before the next challenge goes up, the challenge winner gets to change models. All other models are randomly assigned.
When making an entry, you must use the exact base of your model except hair color.
Note: Models ae never eliminated, so there will always be extra.

What's the dealio with challenge wins?

Each time entries are judged, the highest score is deemed the challenge winner. They get to choose their model for the next challenge. Also, for the first five rounds, the challenge winner gains immunity. Once we are down to the Top Ten, there is no immunity, but each challenge winner wil get a small prize.

Challenge

I would like to say, Congratulations to our Final Three.
One of you will be crowned the winner of the competition.
But you have one final test.
Actually two. xD

#1: Color Pool
For this challenge, I will give you a pool of nine colors.
You must create three entries that will stun the judges.
Each avvah will have three colors, chosen from the pool. Colors may only be used once. So you may not, for example, use black in more than one avvah.

This is the final judging.
I, Teh Knightmare, went through your portfolios and, between PJ and Orly, chose my favorite for each round. For each round favorite, I awarded got 5 points.

I went with Green/Orange/Black, Pink/Purple/Blue and Brown/White/Teal.
I tried to go for a western-ish feel to them for theme.

Teh Knightmare ~ Avi One: Really? This is so unoriginal. I've seen this color scheme so many times. And you used *counts* three or four Jack items. Plus the Jack clip. I do like the layering of the skirts. The last two skirts (button down + Yama skirt) look really nice together. That cincher looks grey to me. The arm layering kinda sucks. The hair is too bright. The Yama skirt is darker than the coat and the leaf doesn't fit at all.

Avi Two: I like the snooty feel of this. I think this embodies what you were going for. Reminds me a lot of your Wekaness entry.The shoe layering's off a bit and you need dark pink on the arms and feet. That boa or whatever is a block of color. The aura is kind of like a sensual thing that goes well. The hair looks off and the teal shoes are too dark.

Avi Two: This really makes me think of an outlaw. I like the Wild, Wild West feel you have in all three avi's. I like the purple-brown you have here, but the goggles at the head don't cut it. Aren't the coat and hat a set? The arms are a block and the goggles layer weird. A mouth would've been nice to show some more emotion, but the eyes are really good.The feet teal is darker than others and why are there antlers? I do sorta feel a cohesion throughout this, but the Saloon girl (is that the term?) doesn't fit as well as it could.

Free-for-All: Meh. The feet look tiny. The hat looks oddly shiny and darker and sticks out (literally). I like the little girl demon look of it. The arms lack pink, red, and blue. The Durem shirt is darker than the other reds. The hair is too bright. This doesn't seem like the best you could do, and it doesn't knock my socks off.
Shakakaka ~
Sher!ock ~ Got some decent layering in the bottom, but nothing I haven't seen before with tekteks. The rest of the avi, however, is atrocious. The color scheme is awful, your colors don't match, and the head is a total mess. Also, I don't see a western theme here. You just look like a pumpkin.

I see like a saloon girl theme (given away by the saloon girl item). The color scheme is good here, but your did a bad job matching and balancing perfectly. Lots of white and blue up top, lots of pink on the bottom. I'm bothered by the feet. Kinda bulky.

Color scheme is beautiful and matches fairly well. I'm taking creativity points off for the set, though. The body is well made, but the shoes look really weird and the top of the head is a mess. Should've left the goggles off in my opinion. Yeah, you wanted to balance that brown, but it doesn't do much for that anyway. Might've been better without the antlers, too.

Not impressed. Color scheme isn't creative, the feet look weird again, the colors aren't well balanced or matched... need I go on?

Asuka Lei ~ Really good matching and distribution wise. Its also very intersting to look at. I really like it

This honestly looks mor like a pink and blue avi, but it is still nicely done. It sorta reminds me of your last entry. The hair doesnt match, but aside from that colors match pretty well.

I really like this color combo. the only thing I could see doing different is trying to add some of the dark brown from the vest and shoes to the head. The layering of the goggles and hat is a little strange looking on the sides

This is really not what I thought your free for all could be. Looking through your portfolio (and your current), I see awesome, clutterful, interesting looking avis and great color combos. Thsi is super drab, its not a vry interesting choice of colors and items, and its not very well matched or balanced. I wouldnt even have thought this was an avi you made without being told
Guest Judge: aquaticstone ~ I feel that this colour combination is a little bit of an obvious choice, and I've seen it done many times. I'm not really sure how this outfit fits into your theme, other than the western coat. However, this flows very well, and is probably my favourite of the 3 outfits. I love how you intergrated the black, and I really like how you layered the skirts without going overboard. Good job.

I'm guessing you're counting the teal as blue and the blue as purple? Forgive the slightly outdated screen I'm using right now, but I don't see any purple in this outfit. I think if you would have used purple instead of blue, the outfit would have been a lot more interesting for me. I really don't like the feet layering either, there needs to be more teal down there. However, I like the pastelly feel the avi has, and I can see how this relates to your western theme.

This is an inspired colour combination. The teal and white really pop with the brown in a way I hadn't thought of. The distribution of the green is awesome. My two main issues are the brown shoes and the facial expression. The eyes are really ugly and I think you sacrificed some personality and appeal just to try and stay with your colour scheme. But good job, this definitely fits in with your western theme.

I'm dissapointed with this avi. This is your chance to really express yourself as a designer and blow all your other creations out of the water, and I feel like you lost yourself with this. It doesn't have the same energy as the rest of your avis, and the matching and distribution leaves a lot to be desired. I think that your colour choices are interesting, but could have been executed a lot better. Nothing really stands out for me.

Guest Judge: [~Swift~] ~ The color scheme for this isn't too original, although its a hard color scheme its not the most original, I really enjoy the downward flow it makes, but the colors seem a tad lacking

The colors for this have a nice lightness, but the matching is kinda nasty, The only colors that really match are the pinks, the blues are the most awkward and using "purple" in the lotus definitely feels like a cop out. Its nice from the waist up, but the feet shoot it all to hell. Well that and the face, the face is just awkwardly unattractive... I'm a tad disappointed with this, especially from the wide range of colors you had to choose from and integrate.

I gotta say this kinda redeemed you, the colors look great together. But, the 2 tone browns definitely took away. Again the feet are monumentally lacking, its awkward and the colors don't flow all the way through. Its also annoying that you blues are enarly the same color as your greens. Overall though this was your best submitted.

Its an awkward balance of cute and ugly which generally I like in avis. that being said tha actual avi in portions is a let down. For some reason I can tell you have a thing for this blue, which is awful pretty, but its not pulled off well. I do enjoy the way the colors pop, but the aesthetics just don't do anything for me. For a dazzling free for all, I'm pretty sad with this. I think this would have been better without the thunder thigh pants...

Teh Knightmare ~ Avi One: Ew. This is kinda awful. I don't think any orange matches and you're lacking it at the feet. The Chest Bow is too bright and your skin balance is off. More pink is needed at the head. This could almost pass for an innocent little girl, but the eyes ruin it.

Avi Two: I like this color scheme. The colors mix well and the blues pop. The Furugasa is slightly darker and the arms are bare. Some browns are off and the white skirt is a block of white. The blue skirt over it isn't enough. I do like this more than the last one, though.

Avi Three: I like the ominous feel of this. Your three entries look cohesive somehow. I think it's the big skirt feel of them all. I don't know if this was purposeful, but the first seems like the need-to-be-saved princess, the second the hero, and the third the villain. Anyhow, I dislike that the body is mainly covered by the beard. Your Wanklets don't match and blue is needed at the chest. Ohey! I noticed all your people have a weapon. It's like a hero team! Anyhow, this is probably the second best in the collection after the second entry (brown, white, blue).

Free-for-All: Reminds me much of your second collection entry. Same blue, two same items. I like the attempt at this base. The eye is off and blue is needed to break up those shinguard things. Blue is needed at the torso and the arms are mostly bare. I few things could've perfected this.

Sher!ock ~ This is alright. I kinda expect more than alright by the end of this, though. Well balanced. Colors don't really match except the pink, which is really easy these days. The face stands out to me. The items don't mesh together as well as I'd like, but comparing them to your others this round, it's decent.

Items glued on top of each other. The color scheme is okay, but you could've made it flow together better. It looks really forced.

The head on this is okay, but the body looks like a mess. Color balance is off and some things just plain don't match, like whatever that grey thing is by the legs. Don't like it.

Asuka Lei ~ This avi kinda looks like you had an item restriction. I dont like the orb item, it looks outta place, and there is no orange apparent in the feet area of the avi. The greens dont really match very well either.

I really like this. It is a cute design, and your colors and items work well together.

I like how well this avi flows, and the little hints of the light blue throughout instead of just chunks of color. The purple is just a little dark, and If I hant known it was supposed to be purple I almost wouldnt notice. It looks like a lot of black with some light blue flecks

Excellent free for all! And I love that you did so well with the drome base. The colors work good together in this avi as well as the second one you did from your color pool. I kinda wish you hadnt repeated teh color scheme and used a few of the same items, but it works really well
Guest Judge: aquaticstone ~ Now, I love a good powerclash, but this is really a bit too much for me. The whole avi is clunky and the colours just clash with each other too much. I actually didn't notice any pink in this avi until I noticed it was one of your colours. The bottom could well be a different outfit to the top half. It's just, I don't know, it's messy. I think maybe it was a bad colour combo, or bad execution.

White/Brown/Aqua: This is a much better colour scheme, but it bugs me how little the blue is actually intergrated into the avi. The majority of your blues come from items and things around your avi, not actually from clothing. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but it just doesn't flow as nicely as it could have done. Nice matching on the blues though, good job.

Ack, tricky colour combo. It just all kind of blends together for me. I would have liked some more light blue to give the avi some clarity, because a lot of your dark colours kind of merge together for me. I'd also like to mention that cohesion is included in the judging criteria for these 3 avis, and I can't work out how these 3 avis are related at all. I can't see any consistent style or item choices, and it sort of takes away from your collection a little bit.

This is very similar to your brown avi above. It doesn't wow me at all, tbh. Like I said to poojuice, I feel that this should be your best avi of the contest, and both have you have entered sub-par entries. You could have gone a lot further with this and really wowed us.

Guest Judge: [~Swift~] ~ I have really mixed thoughts on your avis, this one in particular. The matching really isn't there, the orange is incredibly choppy I think that its usage is the biggest issue. That coupled with the awkwardly off green pants really takes away. I enjoy the large item choice that adds to the effect but then they eyes really bother me... something cuter would have added more.

I love this avi. The shape and colors and simplicity are great. This is the kinda thing that really sets you apart, where most people pile a ton of items onto an avi, you take larger items to make color and shapes in an interesting and more simplified manner, which definitely make you stand out and pop. Great Job.

Again I'm really confused by how I feel about this avi, the beard hides so much of it, I wonder what it'd be like if you had focused more into it rather than let the flow run rampant. Its a bit to think about... on both ends.

Again I'm not so wowed by this, I enjoy the skin choice and colors, but its a tad meh, the layering could have been a tad better, but still not bad the legs seem quite lacking.

Knight ~ I didn't think it was possible for awake to not use black. o.o It's really nice. I still don't believe gold is pastel, but that's okay. The hair should be broken up. The purple shirt has this weird shading or something, so it sticks out. But very nice. I expect to see you in the final round.

Sher!ock ~ Simple, matches well, balanced nicely, but I wouldn't give it a second look if I passed it scrolling through a thread. It's boring. If you can't use many items at least makes the ones you do use interesting ones. Yes, it's a good avatar, but I want more than good. Also, the skull pin really stands out to me in a bad way. Isn't there a white oval hairpin or something? The detail in the skull is just bad to me. On a good note, your gold was nicely done and not at all cliche.
Sailor ~ I think your pastel scheme could have been way better than this. This is just... boring. It's just really blah and the shirt you used has way too much tint to it, so it sticks out pretty badly.
Asuka Lei ~ This is a very well distributed avi, and You had nice layering of items. A couple shades are a bit different, and Its a nice avi, but it just doesnt pop out at me. Really work on wow factor for the next round.
