So…. What the heck does that mean? Obviously, this is not a typical FS for the shop – though really, we haven't had many "typical" FSs, have we? This one is nothing "usual". For awhile, Eamane and ELF have quite literally dreamed of a FS like this, and we are quite excited for this one.

The term Hero-Villain can be daunting for a FS, but don't let it. Instead, embrace it, because this is meant to be FUN.

At the same time as this FS there will be an RP going on here as well. Anyone can join, Heralds, Guardians, Non-Guardians, everyone. More info is below.

Q - How much does this cost?
A - We decided not to have an entry fee, but to compensate the artist the winner will be required to pay the flatsale price of 15k. Remember you are getting a custom for an extremely discounted price. Payment plans are available.

Q - If I win do I have to RP?
A - Yes! One year of inactivity will result in a flash growth to Adult

Q - Can we pay with items if we win?
A - Yes! For sure, monthly letters and monthly items are accepted. Any others need to be discussed. There is a payment plan available as well if you need it.

Q - Where do we submit our entries?
A - Right here in the thread.

Q - Does the sacrifice have to be directly representative of the Hero-Villian I have in mind?
A - NO! As long as you can 'describe' the relationship, it's all good. Be creative <3

Q - I like more than one concept, can I enter more than one form?
A - No, sorry. One only.

Q - Can I enter for the Premade and the Regular?
A - Again, sorry. You have to pick one or the other.

Q - Can I make my character a cosplay of <insert name>?
A - NO. You can use the character for a concept base, but there will be no cosplays.

Q - What does the "Scene" portion mean in the form?
A - The scene means if you cannot find a picture, to find a scene in a book (since the others /should/ have a picture) and either copy-past or sum it up. This was mostly so that we can get to know the character a little more. A picture trumps this idea because a "picture is worth 1000 words" xDDDDD

Q - I really want a dragon, and I see there is a Western Dragon already sacrificed, can I base my character off another dragon?
A - Yes, as long as the dragon itself is not the sacrifice, you'll have to pick something else (and not a scale, claw, or tooth).

Q - What's your beef with Harry Potter?
A - Some of us don't care for HP, and others feel that it's overdone. There are millions of other characters out there.

Q - Someone used a character that I already was using, can I still use him/her or do I have to completely re-do my form?
A - You can keep your character. There can be doubles on characters and sacrifices for this FS, however, the sames cannot win - so if the winning concepts have the same characters, we will discuss with both winners about this. But for now, there can be doubles for the FS.
NOTE: This is not true for the RP Event XD Herald Owners - it's first come, first serve for you guys!!!! blaugh

Q - Can we use more than one picture if it's a scene from a comic book?
A - Yup! smile

Q - By inherited attributes do you mean physical attributes, powers, or personality wise?
A - That's up to you - they are mostly like "influences" for appearances, but you can pick those that would be more of a clothing, expression, color, influence rather than an outright "DOG TAIL" attribute. Can be power attributes, too.

Q - Can we use Deviantart for a reference, so long as I cite the source?
A - Yup, but you might want /accurate/ to avoid miscommunication or the other down the line.

Relationship: Blackout is not an honorable character, he was always being sneaky and acting kind of like a weasel (or at least the stereotype of). For example, during a scene he would sneak up on someone and try to "get them in the back".

This event also has an RP component for others. Those that have Heralds can RP, but so can their Guardians and even innocent passerbies.

For those with Heralds, though, there are benefits for participation! There are two ways to get two PDs (playdates) from this event!!! The first is to fill our the following form. It is very similar to the FS Form, only this one doesn't have a prompt, per say (actually, this the RP portion, buahaha!). You do not need to complete them both, and you don't have to do one before the other. They are independent of each other, wooo!

This is the first PD. It is pretty much just a form. All you have to do is fill in the blanks and answer the questions! If it calls for it, please do more than just one-liners XD If your Herald has not arrived yet, you can RP them as Messenger Reborns and you'll get the credit for that stage. If you are waiting on a growth, it will apply to your next stage (however, if you have anything left on your current stage, it will only apply to that one). A character cannot be used more than once ^^;



NOTE: We are liking content better than word count - so as long as you put an effort to it (not needing 41 cool then you will get your PD! <3

+ Storyline +
The Sanctum Guardian lounged as well as it could in its ethereal way. This was its favorite time of year... or at least it was, when it could have been termed 'alive'. You see, there are two times of the year in which the link between the Sanctum and Gaia were... changed. During the time of Samhain (or Halloween) the barrier between the two was weakened. On the other side of the spectrum, during Bealtaine (May Day, sort of) the strength of the Sanctum is strengthened and its qualities leak in to the world of Gaia. Heralds that fall on this auspicious day, and are given the ever needed sacrifices tend to be a little more different, and may acquire a power or powers that are unrelated to their sacrifice. Such differences are permanent. Before now, the Sanctum has not been strong enough to use the Gifts of Bealtaine. Not so much this year.

The Guardian's lip curled in a smile. No, this year Bealtaine would be strong.

Here is what will happen.... the Guardian's eyes closed as it watched the powers swirl and mingle.

For one day, all Heralds would have a power, or powers ((up to two)) that they acquire from "somewhere else". They don't have any say, and some may lose control. A Herald might have strange eye-beams or see through walls. They might have more magic than before. Who knows, one might even see ghosts! It would be quite interesting, to say the least. Weaknesses can be powers too, and the Herald may find that they cannot go in direct sunlight or may be weakened by a specific material.

The effects vary and are different for every Herald.

They only last for one day, though. After that, things go back to normal.... but the Heralds do not know that.
