Q: How do I get a spirit?
A: There are currently five ways to get a spirit; flatsales, raffles, auctions, contests/events and breedings. Check the flatsale information and breedings sections for more information.

Q: Will you give me a spirit for free?
A: No, sorry. However, check to see if there are any contests/events being held where you can win a spirit for free. Raffles are also a good way to acquire a pet for less than the sale price. See the contests section.

Q: Can my friend and I co-own a spirit?
A: Yes. Although, if your names are too long I may have to either abbreviate them or use initials on the cert.

Q: How long does it take for my spirit to grow?
A: It varies depending on the colourist. Some will take a few weeks, others -- a month or two. Just be patient on your spirits growings and refer to the growth post for a projection of when yours will be growing.

Q: Can I somehow alter their growth speed?
A: Yes! You can dramatically enhance or slow down their growth with special fruit for sale in the item shop section of the shop. Check there for details and availability.

Q: When is my spirit able to breed?
A: Your pet and its mate must be in their teenage stage of life. Check the breedings post for more details.

Q: Can I sell my spirit to my friend, someone I know, etc.?
A: No!

Q: I'm planning on leaving Gaia for good, what should I do with my spirit?
A: If you are planning on leaving Gaia, I will happily take your spirit until I can find another suitable owner. You may, however, give your spirit to a friend (for free) with permission from a staff member.

Q: Is there a limit to how many spirit I may own?
A: No, you may own as many as you like. Although, there is a limit of one per person during flatsales. You need to take care of all the spirits you own, so please don't be greedy and get a lot and abandon them later.

Q: Do I have to RP my spirit?
A: No, it's not manditory but it is encouraged.
However.. If you do not RP the spirit, it will not grow past the teen stage. There are two more available stages after this.

Q: Are you looking for any colourists/managers, ect?
A: When we feel the need to, we'll be hiring. Until then, no.

Q: After I received my cert, do I have to save it to my own server?
A: We will be using the same link after they grow, so you can use the direct link.

Q: I have a question that isn't posted here, what should I do?
A: Feel free to ask your question in the shop thread or pm the mule.

Many years ago, mythological creatures of all sorts roamed the land. Together, they lived in peace and prosperity with no need to solve problems with any kind of violence. However, as each species grew, members of their population became corrupted and consumed by greed and jealousy. They began collecting the magical energies from the lands to become more powerful- and when it was not enough, they turned to their own kind.

When the elders of each species had caught wind of these terrible deeds, they shunned those that had been consumed by emotion. By the time they had seen the deadly effects of the crimes that had been committed, each race had already suffered a substantial loss.

Angry that they were cast out of the society that they were born and raised in, the accused began to refer to themselves as 'The Corrupted'- for that was what they were labeled when they were cast out. They decided to make the elders pay for what they had done. As time passed, they gathered massive amounts of energies, forming an army that had no opposition. Each member had their uses and talents, but it was beginning to become difficult for them to live among the others secretly as their appearances were changing.

The time for attack had finally come and The Corrupted unleashed an attack unlike any other. Many civilians were killed and injured in the attack, forcing everyone who lived to hide. The elders had to take action so they gathered anyone who would fight to battle against The Corrupted. A long and fierce battle ensued thereafter. No one knows how the battle ended, but we suspect that both parties were wiped out.

However... We of The Projekts have discovered that the spirits still remain here...

During the coarse of our research, we have found that we are still able to trap the energy within various confines. This was a grueling task to undergo; it takes a very long time to manifest enough energy to place within these objects.

Our current object in which we place the energy is an orb- and we shall continue to use it as the basic confine. Within each orb, you may see a mist forming..

Our research did not yield results then on... They only became more interesting...

We found that in most cases, within the mist an object would form. We believe that the sources of the energy have much to do with this.

In peculiar cases, we find that after a set amount of time, it seems that an effect seems to take over the orb- engulfing it as a flame would.

I wonder what will become of these objects- but I think that only time will tell.

It seems that you have stumbled across the orbs we currently have! Each orb is different ; the objects and mist will reflect on the spirit that grows. Please note that the final evolution is where the object inside of the orb will finally take an effect.

Rules of the Customs!

1. You may not order more than 2 per month.
2. If you have just ordered your maximum of two customs, you may not participate in the flatsale for that month.
3. Please make sure you check all openings and the availability of the type of custom you would like.
4. DO NOT RUSH THE ARTISTS. It takes time.

Stage | Price
Anthro will be +10k to the price. Corrupted will be + 20k.. All others negotiated.

Premade
This is a base we may have sold before in a flatsale. There will not be any edits to it other than one color of your choice. These are growing.

Semi-Custom
In this custom, you may choose the colors we use. You may specify what color you want where, but no line-edits. We may give you a choice in hair length and style. These are growing.

Breedings can only be done once your spirit has reached the teen stage. Why? Think of it as puberty. However, there is a price to the breedings!
If you are an owner with two spirits you want to breed, you must pay 10k for the breeding (and 1k for the reproductive potion if your spirit is a teenager (May be purchased during early stages).
If you plan on breeding your spirit with another owners, you must each pay 5k and each of you must have the reproductive potion!

To determine how many children you spirit will have, you must generate a random number 1-4.

If your spirit is an anthro, custom, or Corrupted, you must generate a number a number 1 to the number rolled beforehand to determine how many of the children will carry on any amount of the traits.
