Flatsale wolpertingers are scattered across a period of time rather then spat out all at once, allowing for a wider range of people to have an opportunity to adopt one.

Once you Win a Wolpertinger

Once you win a Wolpertinger, you must send in your trade -- it can be either in pure gold OR a tektek item a little higher (like 1k higher) then worth in value then the gold to make up for Market flux -- to the Wolpertingers United mule

After you send your trade, please send a PM to Wolpertingers United. The PM must have the information of Which Wolpertinger you got (usually the image from the flatsale works best), What you wish to name them, and what kind, if any, familiar you want for them.

5K for an adult flatsale
10K for growing Flatsale (baby-Adult)

15k for breeding

Breeding always gets at least two children, one two each parent. Every extra child from a breeding costs another 5k. If you do not buy the extra children, they will be sold in a flatsale or raffle.


Cosplays, Line Edits and original art Wolpertingers are either auctioned or special events Raffles.

Familiars are little companions for your Wolpertingers, usually of the magic variety.

How does a Wolpertinger get a Familiar? Well, mainly you just ask for one. Babies in the Burrows and Young Children cannot have Familiars though, so you must wait for their teens to buy them one.

Pricing for common companions begin at a 2k base with four random colors (base, markings, and eyes) and can go way over 20k for custom colors, depending on complexity. This price is added to the price of the Wolpertinger. If you do not ask for it at the time of the adoption of its companion 'Tinger, there is a 1k Re-Certing Fee.



Common House Kobold

Whats this? Little creatures called Kobolds seem to be appearing around WU Abbey, attracted by the upwelling of magic caused by the gathering of Wolpertingers and the brewing of Magic potions and Beers.

Kobolds are much like Brownies, and while mischevious at times, they are loyal companions driven to help their "masters", and are usually secretive around human beings. They aren't able speak in anything but Chirrups and Russling noises, but can follow commands, much like a dog or a well trained parrot.

They have the ability to turn invisible. They also seem to have an obsessive need to clean and organize things, making them very useful at keeping your area clean. If your house is infested with House Kobolds, it will be unusually tidy. This is a good thing, but don't be tempted to leave gifts out for them, since they can get bossy and fights will break out into fights over them.

Tamed House Kobolds however can be spoiled as much as you wish. biggrin


The Mock-Knucker is a small relative to the larger English Knucker, never growing beyond two feet long. They are frequently found in the waters of the river running through the south most part of the WU Reserve Territory.

Mock-Knuckers eat mostly fish and frogs, killing them with constriction. They are keen and intelegent creatures that have been bred by Wolpertingers and the Fae Kingdom for centuries. Faeries often rode them as steeds in land and water warfare back before the great migration into Otherverse, leaving the wolpertingers behind in our world to fend for themselves. Over this time the tamed Mock-Knucker has grown feral, but now the old ways of breeding them are returning as the Wolpertingers make a comeback, the noble creatures becoming a pet, too small to be a steed for the larger wolpertingers.

Those wishing to care for Mock-Knuckers usually let them rest in their bathtubs at night, and they make great bath companions as well. They will also protect your wolpertinger fiercely, becoming a loyal watchdog for your family. However, you usually have to untangle them from your visitors legs. If they don't live with you, they are considered a threat and are kept under close, clingy watch.


Common Bushytailed Sprite
Bushytailed Sprites are an odd little squirrel like breed, origonally created by the fae as pets and servents. However, they turned out to be a rather mischievious species, getting away from their creators and spreading across the world. Sprites speak in squeaking words, often simplistic, though some are able to create pretty complex sentences. Mostly they just repeat things they hear, giggling shrilly. However, despite being little trouble makers, they are remarkably tame and will be loyal to anyone that cares for them.

They are a very common sight as winter approaches, coming out of their hiding to store food as a large community, feast, and, for the lack of a better word, be merry. Sprites love music and parties, and will chitter around excitedly, either hovering, Flapping around like a mad hummingbird, or going, well, squirrely. They also have the habit of stealing food out from under peoples noses, so owning one is going to keep you quite busy.
