Welcome to the new and improved version of the Gold for Grammar Foundation. It is the goal of this charity to reward users for taking the time to appreciate the English language by being literate on the Internet. (In other words, observing grammatical and spelling conventions when they aren't "necessary", although whether they are unnecessary or not on the Internet is arguable.)

You'll notice that much of the thread's text is in images. This is to force applicants to fully read all the rules, and not just use their browser's Find function to locate useful material. We apologize if your Internet connection is too slow to handle the thread, but we thought it best.

In summary: this thread is image-intensive.

March 24, 2007 — Did some work with the List of Donation Recipients. I put the names of those lucky people into a list instead of a comma'd paragraph, and then counted. We have currently donated to 184 people, and thirteen of those donations have been made since the creation of the new thread. Hoorah!
February 16, 2007 — Debut of GfG v.2.0. The old thread can be found here. Hopefully, the new thread will be easier to maintain.
The old thread:
- had 1,147 pages
- had 17,197 replies
- was 20 days short of being one year old
