Apparently they released a new limited edition line of dolls that he really wants to add to his already terrifying collection, but because they're limited edition, he wasn't able to get any before they sold out! I told him to buy them on gBay once people start to sell theirs, but I guess I can't blame him for not wanting to pay extra. This doll collecting thing seems expensive, to be honest! Ah well.
