purchasable slots for inventory? does that mean our inventories are limited to a certain amount of items unless we want to buy extra?? i don't know how i feel about this
They probably are referring to the custom organizing slots. It wouldn't be logical to limit the amount of items a user can have especially if they already have an exceeding amount of items than the starting limit.
I'll have to give it a shot before I have a real opinion. I really just wanted a version of what we have that doesn't crash, but I'm interested to check out these new features. :3
The new version is HTML based, meaning it's not Flash, it won't crash.

If I am to understand this correctly the number of items you can hold wont change. But you will get a set number of category slots, and you will have to pay for more slots, if you want more. It would be somewhat akin to the Outfits System the Avatar Customizer has.
My main feedback would be about alchemy items. I know what I'd personally like is to be able to move alchemy formulas, components, and non-alchemy items required for formulas into a specific category together. (There are some formulas that you need equippable items, game items, components and the formula.) And especially when you're working on multiple formulas at once it can be really confusing finding everything and seeing your progress towards them.
So as long as the new inventory arrange will allow movement of all item types that would be fantastic. heart
ETA: With items that have a quantity, (like components and game items) will it be possible to move 'x' number of those items to a particular category and leave whatever is remaining in it's current one? Like if I have formula requiring 10 Sugar Crystals, I currently have 24, would I be able to move 10 to a category set up for that particular formula and the other 14 would remain in the default category? Because if that can be done I would be eternally grateful. smile
