You realize you're appropriating the Occupy movement for something ridiculous. You're basically comparing the social and economic inequality that severely impacts a great number of people in society to "wah they keep releasing items on this website for cash prices and it angers me".

The situation Gaia is heading to is actually quite similar to the real-life situation Occupy refers to.

By focussing all their offers, sales and attention on people who buy Cash or are able to obtain it through videos and offers, they are completely neglecting the users who are fully dependent on gold. Have you seen the inflation on MP recently? Because Gaia's busy handing out items to the 'rich', the countereffects such as inflations only hit the 'poor'.

I myself am a player completely dependent on gold (not just because I choose to, also because video's and offers don't work for me since appearantly I'm living in the wrong damn country) and the gold I worked my butt off for is slowly becoming completely useless. Some items on my wishlisth have pretty much tripled in price in the past few weeks, it's insane.

I'm with you. I have had a sever dislike of the greed and such in regards to the site for a while. I remember when the items that came out where the monthly and the event items and thats that. You actually had a chance to be able to get something. Then again I remember when the gold earned was based on the length of a post so.... meh. The money and attention from the team has to be going somewhere other then this site because it is going to hell over here.

*shrug* Just seems ridiculous to appropriate a movement that is trying to actively improve the quality of life for millions of real people who are really suffering and apply it to a totally optional website selling totally optional pixel items.

At this rate, the site deserves to die if you ask me.
This is not the Gaia I signed up to be a part of years ago.
This is an out of control, money-hungry piece of crap that doesn't care about the people who can't afford to drop real money on this site.

Um what?

The site doesn't deserve to die just because they changed their business model and are trying to maintain a profit instead of just breaking even or going months without breaking even.

They've given us tons of things for free and ars still giving us things for free. Hell we just got THREE free item grants. We've had several FREE events and even a few spontaneous mini-events. We're also going to be getting a Halloween event and Christmas event from Uncle Kenny. We also have the inventory arranger 2.0 to look forward too. All for FREE. Oh and let's not forget the loyalty shop that will be released soon.

So please tell me where Gaia doesn't care about their none cash users?
