Nobody here thinks it might be a gross overreaction to fire Narumi?

10000% agreed that things need to change, but your suggestion is to take someone's livelihood away, and that I cannot agree with. Yes, the marketing strategy needs to change drastically, and yes, the Gaian economy is in a terrible state right now, but suggesting that Gaia fire Narumi is not only a horrible thing to do to Narumi, but would cost Gaia in re-hiring, re-training, reorientation, and redistribution of tasks until the aforementioned rehire takes place.

C'mon, better suggestions, better suggestions!

...I'd say that...if anything...just bump Narumi down so the decisions on how they go about doing cash related things isn't entired on that person's shoulders...but that's about as far as I would think to take it. ...not fire a person completely. ..just have there be some moving around as to who should do what. ..maybe Narumi isn't best fit for being COO ( I think that's his title? I can't keep up with all the shorthand ).

That or have Narumi work with someone else as the second COO but have them both have different ideas of what should be done so they butt heads more often and try to find a middle of the road plan instead of far left or far right.

...if anything I'm suggesting makes sense...

Lets not fire Narumi, or anyone but those head of operations, AKA CEO AND COO and whoever else is in charge of that BS.

Narumi and the others are just doing what is important to keep their job, they can't just revolt against their leaders. It's not their fault they've been given these idiotic tasks.

Let me just restate that the CEO and the COO did not demand that Narumi repeatedly sell Flynn's Booty. They didn't demand that Narumi turn every aspect of this site used for communication into an obnoxious advertisement, and then put pop-ups over it to boot. All the CEO and COO did was give Narumi a number to meet, and his response to it was "Let's ******** everything up and annoy more users than we ever have before."

You're free to make suggestions, but this is a vent thread, not a suggestions thread.

Yeah, I kind of wish we had a tab for info of gaia and gaia interactive staff... would definitely clear a lot of confusion of anger being directed at the wrong person.

There are better ways to earn more for revenue.
Sell the GC items that are worth $30-$100+ to $10-$40.
I would totally buy that Rosamunds Devotion for $10 or even $5. Because it's affordable.
If Gaia would put out that kind of mentality, everyone would start buying the cheap GC items.
The way they are treating gaians now is like they expect us to have all this money or $50 to throw it at their faces, FOR ONE VIRTUAL ITEM. It's not worth someone's hard earned money imo.
Especially $50, which is a lot to spend on a pixel.

The person in charge for sales, ads, making more capital, definitely has to be fired. Along with the CEO and COO because I don't think they really know what they're doing.

Also the milking tools who keep buying these expensive GC items and buying inflated items in the MP and causing the ABP to rise are at fault too, not just gaia. It would be hard to take a stand in unity as the 99% of GG users, with these tools supporting the idea that it's okay to promote these expensive GC offers, because people are willing to pay for them.

So sickening!

I knew GC would be a terrible in the long run. As soon as real dollars becomes a thing that's all people will care about. On syndroneonline, a new avi site I go on, their "GC" coppers, where implemented from the start, unlike GC which came way later.
