So I guess I'm reading this wrong but I'll say how I am interpreting it and feel free to correct me.

According to Narumi, they have a specific goal set for them each month and it is their job to see said goal be made... So, while these sales and pop ups, etc, are in fact all Narumi's doing.. it is technically the COO/CEO's fault.. as they set these goals and require their staff to make said goals meet before deadline...

Narumi is only following what is required of them to keep their job.

Like I said, I can't blame a CEO for doing their job. Gary's doing what needs done. I can blame Narumi for doing his job in a shitty way, though.

Whatever economists they supposedly hired/consulted are complete morons, the team responsible for deciding the price points for the flash sales is full of people that are out of their freaking minds, and whoever is okaying these rereleases of Flynn's Booty is very clearly far removed from everything in regards to the Gaian Economy.

I just... I don't even know anymore. At this point, it's one of those "the level of stupidity is mind-boggling" situations.

Now, I'll have to dig around for the link again, but you can tell that half of the reviews are written BY THE CEO.

But if there is a quota that must be absolutely met or your job is on the line.. why risk trying other ways to that may or may not please the user base and continue on with the way you're doing things now? Trust me, I understand how obnoxious this is. I hate getting the pop up ads to buy cash, and seeing this booty thing in the announcement aaaalllll the time.. but Narumi is only one person with a [I'm assuming] huge quota to make.

However, at the same time.. Narumi is technically doing things many users have asked for. Recolors, re-releases, etc. While it may not be HOW it was asked for [though I've seen plenty of people stupidly say they'd pay 50$ for an item..........] it's being done none the less.

Oh, I've looked at that site and I don't believe a word of any of it. None of the reviews submitted to it are verified for authenticity, they can be written by any tom, d**k, or harry who knows how to spell the words "I am a former employee of <company name> and..."

Absolutely not. Narumi is the only one trying to keep in touch with the user base while also trying to stay on track for this quota. The CEO, however, hasn't said a word to anyone. The way these sales and such are being pushed are Narumi, but who's to say the exact items and what not, and even the prices, are entirely on him? While yes, he's working with the marketing team.. they could be under strict orders to sell each individual item for a set price. To sell items like Flynn's a** that release ridiculous amounts of gold which will make users want to buy buy buy.

Saying the job is stressful is one thing, that doesn't mean someone cannot do their job right... even if it's not how you like, the job is being done none the less.
