Achievements Update Log

UPDATE: Thur Aug 16th: Today we're pushing out achievements to all users. In addition, we're also running some metrics tests with new users. Achievements will be temporarily disabled for a period of time, then slowly coming on for every user.

UPDATE: Tuesday, Aug 31st: New Achievements released! Around 30 new achievements in marketplace, gifting, forums, birthdays, and more!

UPDATE: Wed, Sept 1st: We are still working out some bugs with certain achievements. We found that a bunch of users got the 1000, 10,000 post achievements without having enough posts. We're going to be resetting all of these achievements, but don't worry - if you have more than 1000 or 10000 posts, you will get the achievement on the very next post. Thanks for your patience.

UPDATE: Wed, November 5th I noticed this thread got bumped and it's causing confusion about new achievements coming sweatdrop We have some smaller achievements for various mini-events coming, but not a big new set (at least not at the moment). Sorry if there was any confusion! We do plan to add more content as opportunities come up.

Aww, I'm sad that the original 8 achievements aren't going to be available, but I'm glad that those of us who already has them gets to keep them. ^^ I really like the Achievements, so I approve of it becoming a permanent feature. I'm looking forward to the new ones.

I mean, I play the game. And from the looks of zOMG and the new "Achievements" add-on, it looks like you're just taking the ideas from World of Warcraft.
Just saying. I mean, I can pull up screen-shots of the achievement box for World of Warcraft.

There's a difference between stealing ideas and getting an inspiration from them. As for zOMG taking ideas from WoW, I doubt you go around killing inanimated items such as house furniture that comes to life in WoW.

Same deal. It's WoW's idea being ripped off. Especially with the whole, ring bits. Don't get offended just because someone noticed that Gaia's been doing that. Nothing against ToS about saying my opinion.
