Welcome! This is the hiring thread for the Pink Sugar Cafe. (PSC) You may have seen us around minishops. We are a roleplaying/minishop forum. We also cater to parties and events (for a price, of course!) Because of this, we often hire workers, waiters, waitresses, etc. This is where to go if you've often wanted to work for a minishop or roleplay thread!

These include being a secretary, waiter/waitress, or a miscellaneous worker. You are put on the front page of the minishop and will always have a place in the shop.

Currently hiring 1 Miscellaneous Worker (Max 5 applicants)
This position is currently open to anyone. Please apply with the "Permanent Job Application" form. (Please note that although this is a 'permanent job,' the shop is scheduled to close sometime in the beginning of 2011.)

Finalists may be subject to further questions/interview/quizzing. Thank you for understanding.

Jobs/Responsibilities
O CHECK FOR MISSED ORDERS.
O In the shop, take orders from people.
O Quote their orders and say you're on it! (The first person who quotes usually takes the order.)
O Deliver their orders IN THE THREAD.
O When they receive their order, it would be great if you interact with them!
O If possible, match their roleplaying. If the customer takes their time to write out a detailed roleplay, it'd be polite to do the same.
O Take orders for breakfast if it's breakfast time, whether the first post says so or not.
O Do not take orders for breakfast if it's not breakfast time, whether the first post says so or not. (Hyde isn't always on time updating!)
O If the staff is doing their job, Hyde should NOT have to cover for them and take orders.
O When anyone USES or BUYS a coupon, please add a comment to the Pink Sugar Cafe Journal's coupon log.

Regarding Miscellaneous Workers:
O Misc. workers do not receive pay.
O They do not always have to take orders. It would help if an order has not been taken, however.
O Waitresses have priority to take orders more so than Misc. workers. They need to take orders in order to be paid.
O Misc. Workers will take orders when there is no one else available.
O Positions change easily! A miscellaneous worker may become a waiter/waitress, and vice-versa.

Regarding Photobucket:
O Please do not redistribute these codes.
O Please do not mess with the links or upload things into the server.
O The Fanart subfolder is for whenever anyone does fanart of the shop or staff.
O Please upload any fanart into that folder, and give [Hyde] the link.
O Password may be changed from time-to-time. You'll be receiving a PM after each change.

Temporary jobs will not earn you a place in the shop. Instead, you will be working part time, with pay, during a catered event. Example, if we host a wedding, you are expected to either be a bodyguard, a priest, or write down the names of all the guests. Things like that.
