Dreamscape Romance:
井底蛙之見
The view of a frog residing at the bottom of a well.
This confused me for a little while, that's actually why this took me so long (I probably could have had it done by yesterday if not the day before.) Then I found that this was part of a story.
You may suffer from tunnel vision.. This may be that your very life is like walking through a tunnel that bends and winds. You will follow the light, but not see it, as the dark walls curve before you. You will simply follow the lit path, the one you have chosen, while the walls stay dark and hidden. But these may not all be walls. You may be so used to following the curve that you don't realize the unlit sections are actually other paths you may take. Opportunities and chances for change or new ways to reach your goals may be passing by and you don't even realize it because your mind is set on a single way to a single destination.
Try looking for multiple solutions to a problem and don't worry about changing your plans. You may be afraid of change, admitting that your way was in fact the wrong way, but if you don't your path may be harder or longer than you expect. Some of these side trips through your tunnel may not be shortcuts at all, but actually lead your life into more obstacles or turns, but nevertheless, they are there and each has a lesson to teach you. Perhaps your competitive nature or perfectionism may be getting in the way of you discovering these paths, next time you feel either of these traits taking effect over you, step back for a moment and realize that sometimes losing is the best option, sometimes right way and wrong way are boundaries and you're missing what's between or sometimes there's simply the option of taking a new path altogether.
