The land of Milites is a militartistic nation that attempts to conquer three other nations. So far, two have fallen under its militaristic might. Milites soldiers and airships slowly make their way to a smaller island nation that is home to The Academy, a grand school known for the elite Hunters. The Hunters find and hunt their bounties and receive money from the government that provided the bounty info. However, most of the Hunters are from Milites, and have given the country valuable info regarding secrets and training The Academy has. King Vincent, leader of Milites, decides to invade the island nation and take control of the world. However, 12 students, the best of the best, arise to the island's call, and take arms against the invading country.

It's basically a spinoff of Final Fantasy XIII Agito. There does not have to be 12 RPers for this RP (I can cut the number of players down if interest isn't this relatively high), but that's ideal for this RP. Each student has their own unique weapon, which is listed below:

Each student would also have a summon of their choice (both original and custom are accepted) of these basic espers. The summons originate from small crystal orbs known as Aeonisium that are placed in these slots in their weapons (the right glove of the Tarot Card student). You can choose any summon that isn't all powerful (I do not want to see Eden or Ultima; after all, these are still young students; more powerful summons will be up for grabs later in the RP if there's still interest). Summons can be demons, angels, animals, and a lot more. They can be any creature you want them to be. They just have to not be powerful.

Also, each student will have an elemental affinity, or attribute. These affinities are determined by the type of summon you choose. For example, Ramuh will give you the Lightning affinity, while Leviathan gives you the Water attribute. An interesting twist is that the element you have chosen will affect the outcome and performance of a major battle. For example, fighting an Earth-based character with an Air element will be easier than if you were Lightning-based. Here's the elemental affinity circles:

Lightning => Air => Earth => Lightning

Dark <=> Light (no true elemental advantages/disadvantages)

Effect: Well basically Dark and Dicross do this fusion thing. After this happens Dark is a cannon on Dicross's arm. after this Dicross can enunciate about two powerful blastes from this cannon. But after this he becomes basically worthless in a battle. Overdrive only activates if Dicross feels a very powerful emotion. Such as anger, sadness, etc.

He now has a grudge against Milites.

Effect: Matt turns the Katana on himself and stabs his chest. Instead to blood rushing out a dark substance does. This black liquid covers Matt's body and his Katana. In this state he becomes much more powerful, and his gravity attacks are more under his control. The two downsides to this state are, his emotions take a back seat, he feels some emotion, but it doesn't have much effect. The other downside, is after the overdrive is over, he's completely useless.

History: Alex came from a noble family, he had about six brothers, and ten sisters. Out of all of them he was the youngest, he was the one mostly spoiled or blamed, he was in some ways grateful for his family. In others he despised them like they where his enemy. He had everthing, but you know it never seemed right to him; when he turned sixteen his family started to become cautious of him. He couldn't figure out why until one day, some bandits had attacked his family nearly killing one of his brothers. Alex went into a blind rage, and before he knew it he called out a name, that name was Innis. The large summon came down from the heavens, and with one wave of his sword killed all the bandits. Alex then saw why his family was scared of his, and he decided that he was going to attend an Academy, he had heard in the market about this grand school called Elite Hunters. So he attended. Now he is grown up and in the middle of this war.

Effect: It can cure you from just about anything, even give you full life. But its a gamble, if you lose that chances are it may cause death to the caster no one else. Also there is a small chance Innis will come down, and heal every ones Will, and Injuries.

Effect: By borrowing some of Kiryuu's dark power, Reita is able to embed her metal claws with dark magic and deal some serious damage to the fiend. This overdrive lets Reita's strength, stamina and speed increase but only for a limited amount of time, after it wears off Reita is left with much of her energy gone. If not used properly it can be fatal.

The reason is because this man was to assassinate Alex, when Alex was about fifteen. Kagel was going to do it, because at the time his family needed the money. But him being a young twenty-seven year old wanted to have his own fun. He crept into Alex room ten years ago, and he smoothly got on top of Alex with out waking him. He then attempted to rape Alex. Alex woke up just as he started ( Alex is a pretty heavy sleeper) He looked at Kagel, and yelled for help. But Kagel Grabbed Alex's mouth to shut him up; when Kagel had finished his business with Alex. He raised his sword, and tried to kill Alex, his hand over Alex's mouth still; Alex being the child that he was licked Kagels hand. Kagel moved his hand a way, and Alex knocked him to the ground. Alex ran for the door knocking down a vase or two. But Kagel caught up to him, and pulled Alex's pony tails, he dragged Alex to the floor, And just as he was going to kill Alex for the second time. Alex's family rushed in with guards. Kagel was arrested, and after the incident Kagel had been feeling different, the reason was cause when you took the innocents of one of the Night family you gained part of their power. His Element that he gained was is a little like Alex's he can use White Magic, and he can use a little Black.

Character relation: Saneko and Okinaneko meet when Okinaneko was 5, (Saneko being 4), when their parents arranged their marriage. At such a young age they didn't even know what the word marriage meant, and were only great friends at that time. When Saneko's parents were killed Okinaneko tried to find Saneko after, but had no luck. He has searched for her ever since, gathering information about her where abouts, but the information was always very cloudy. He continues to search for her today.

There are four things I'm going to say before we continue:
1st of all, we have a little bit of a problem:
People seem to be confused about what kind of ship we are all riding in. It is an airship.
2nd of all, no one has broken this rule yet, but I am going to restate it: In this point in time, all summons are not super powerful. Which means all summons need weaknesses too. My Annie's weak point is that everything she does or anything that is done to her effects Emma, her master.
3rd of all: If anyone has an awesome plan for something huge to happen or something(Ex: someone dies, the ship crashes, the ship lands, ect.) PLEASE pm me first. I would like to know what you are planning to do before it happens.
And 4th of all, Wolfrick has brought something to my attention: I am allowing ALL CHARACTERS to have an overdrive, or special, very powerful attack. An overdrive may be powerful, but once you use it, it will drain your power and strength dramatically. Which means you can't have your character running around preforming overdrives twenty-four seven.

Name of overdrive: The name of your overdrive. Like Lightning Slash of Doom or something.(I would not recommend that one)
Effect: What happens when you use your overdrive. Like lightning bolts shoot out of your weapon.
Energy Drain Percentage: This tells other people how powerful your overdrive is. The higher the percentage, the more powerful your overdrive is and the more energy it drains from you. But the lower the percentage, the weaker your overdrive is and the less energy it takes from you. Your percentage must be between 40% and 95% (anything less than 40 is too weak and 100 would literally kill you)

Weapon(optional): They don't have to have a weapon, but if you want them to, they can. This does not have to be one of the twelve demanded weapons.
Summon and Elemental Attribute(optional): Unlike the summons you have, these can be all powerful. But in that case, the character should be older and stronger than your main.
Character relation: How does this character know your character? Do they even know each other at all?
Status: Are they dead? Alive? Gone bad? Missing? What?
Username: Who will be controlling this character?

If your side character is strong enough, I will allow him/her to have an overdrive. But it depends on the character's weapon, age, summon, and character relation.

Vienna stood from her bed and looked around her room. What will become of this place?
She took her cards from her dresser and slipped the pack into its holder. She grabbed her gloves and put them on. She walked to her door and opened it.

Emma walked through her house wondering why she felt so cold and alone. 'why did it have to come to this? Why do some many people have to die?' she thought as the walked. She stopped and looked over at her staff. 'looks like it's just you and me, buddy.' she thought again. She then grabbed it and walked out her front door.

Vienna turned to lock her front door. She noticed a slight movement and looked up in curiosity. She saw her neighbor Emma. Vienna Smiled and waved at her. She locked her door and walked down the walk-way to the sidewalk.

Emma saw Vienna and smiled. She waved back and giggled. "Good morning." she said softly. "You look happy today." as she said it, she knew she wasn't happy. No one was. After all, it was in the middle of a war.

Vienna shrugged. She placed one hand in the other and looked downward. She sighed and looked up. Her green eyes looked about the surrounding area. Vienna looked at Emma and then forward again. The warm sun light shone on her face and warmed her cheeks. She felt a small glint of hope in her soul.

Emma noticed that Vienna was acting kind of strange. She patted her on the shoulder and smiled. "Don't worry about it. I'm sure the war will end soon." she told her and smiled. She then looked around.

Vienna looked up at her friend. She smiled a genuine smile. Her replying giggle was like a chiming bell. Her sweet, light, high giggle filled the surrounding area. She even surprised herself. She hadn't giggled, or even spoken a word in over six years. She was glad she was with Emma. She was glad she now had someone to call her best friend.

She laughed and sighed. "Well, We'd better get going. It's a long way to travel to get to HQ." she told her friend and started to run. "Beat'cha there!" she yelled back before she faced forward and ran faster.
