Everybody Talks - Neon Trees;
Character A and Character B are both celebrities, their daily lives constantly hounded by paparazzi with questions and flashbulbs. Keeping secrets in such a world is practically impossible, and like always, rumors fly about their personal lives. Character A is a sweetheart known for a cheerful disposition and a disarming smile, whereas Character B is a rebellious one who's usually mild antics are blown way out of proportion by the media. Bumping into one another at a club, a tabloid reporter writes a piece on a speculated romance between the two after taking some out of context pictures. Both irritated by this action, the two decide to use this tabloid spin to their advantage, and fake a relationship in hopes of changing their images if only by a little. However other rumors and mean spirited celebrity frenemies pose challenges for the fake couple, making them question just how fake their feelings are.

Stay With Me - Sam Smith;
Character A is a new medical resident at Valley Falls Memorial Hospital in the heart of San Fransisco, fresh out of medical school and having moved cross country to start. On their last night of freedom, Character A goes out to a bar near the hospital they will be working at, only to end up hooking up with a stranger. The next morning Character A leaves from their one night stand to rush to their first day of work as a resident, only to bump into Character B several hours later. Character B as it turns out, is the stranger from the one night stand, and is also a resident intern at the hospital. Despite their tryst, it seems the two have very conflicting personalities and attitudes, invoking a bit of competition between the two in the work place.

Fast Car - Tracy Chapman;
Character A has always run away from things, preferring to abandon their problems and move on instead of facing them head on, at least that's what everyone assumes. Moving from place to place, Character A never stays in the same place for too long. That is until they meet Character B, a grounded Widower who takes care of their young child on their own. Also helpful and patient, Character B offers a helping hand to Character A, only to discover it's that Character A isn't running from themselves, but because of some one else.
Craving Level: Moderate - Serious
Waking Up In Vegas - Katy Perry;
Character A and B are childhood friends, and with a few of their other friends, they plan a trip to Vegas as a way to get back together and have a reunion of sorts. However the trip is a disaster from the start, food poisoning, lost reservations, and other various problems arise. On what seems to be the first enjoyable night, too much tequila and a foggy memory lead to Character A and B waking up in bed together with little recollection. After some awkward conversation and realizations, they find that last night they got married, and not only that they're being pursued by vicious casino loan sharks in a case of mistaken identity.
Craving Level: Mild - Moderate
Come With Me Now - Kongos & Demons - Imagine Dragons;
Character A is a mild manner British scholar, with his head deep in the confines of old books. However Character A is a considerably more special than he's ever given himself credit for, all his life he's been able to see things, at least in his dreams. Snippets of the future, but he's always written then off as nonsense. That is, until he sees an image of Character B. Character B is a tough talking, no nonsense American girl who never runs from a fight. And just like character A, she's never thought much of herself outside of being ordinary. That is, until one day in her late teens, everything changes, and she is attacked by a scaley skinned monster (or demon to be precise). From then on her world is changed, and in an effort to reclaim some kind of normalcy, she determines moving is her best option. Now on her own in Great Britain, Character A is on her own, that is until she bumps into Character B, who is astonished to see the woman who makes frequent appearances in his dreams, in real life.
The two discover they each have a secret destiny, far apart from what they've ever anticipated.

Just Like Heaven - The Cure
Character A is a quiet illustrator living a humble and seemingly uneventful life. Not the most social of people, they have taken to spending their time in their small cottage outside of the hustle and bustle that is Manhattan, only traveling in necessary (much to their dismay). Character B is an up an comer in the business world, a financial expert who despite their skills is relatively unhappy with their life. Character B's marriage has fallen apart, and though their financial successes are great, their personal life falls short of expectation. What connects these two?
(Option One) Nothing, except for a having brushed past one another once in the city and dropping their things. In a quick scramble to collect their things, the two inadvertently exchange two personal items that inexplicably connect them. It isn't until after they have separated that they realize what has happened, now they are left to operate on little information to locate one another. Unaware that they are often so close and yet so far from each other.
(Option Two) A mirror, an antique mirror. On a trip into Manhattan for work, Character A stops into an antique store to find a beautiful and ornate old wall mirror. Enamored by the beauty of it, Character A decides for some reason they just cannot leave without it. Returning to their home, they hang the mirror above the small fireplace where it becomes their favorite piece. The same mirror, a year and a half back once hung on the wall of Character B's apartment and they rather disliked. But one day, while Character B is looking at the mirror, having decided to get rid of it, they notice something. It's another face, almost ghost like. Panicked, they jump back and away from it, unaware that a year and half in the future, Character A has just experienced a similar shock. Perhaps out of curiosity or trying to convince themselves they are just imagining things, the two move closer to their respective mirrors in their places in time, finally seeing each others faces. Panicked and frightened, some confusion ensues, but an unlikely conversation begins. Separated by time, the two come to know one another, and eventually try to find each other within the real world. However, the separation of time makes their attempts futile.

Save Me - Kelly Clarkson
Character A and B were once the best of childhood friends, a near inseparable duo. Character A was a young man with a little harder of a life than anyone kid deserves, while Character B was a young with fitting in and forever battling with the feeling that she just didn't belong. In their teen years, a relationship developed between Character A and B, however, it was a relationship that just couldn't hold. Despite loving one another, the two could not maintain a successful relationship and instead returned to being friends, however with the introduction of sex but no real strings attached. Their friends with benefits relationship however felt toxic and one sided, leaving Character B feeling used and Character A not entirely understanding the problem. Upon the completion of high school the two parted ways after a fiery fight, and that was the last time they'd seen one another. Fast forward to their twenties, and many things have changed. Character A is a successful (artist, writer, musician, etc-- players choice), and Character B has discovered what it was that always made her feel so apart from others. Character B is a muse, or a half muse, like the kind of Greek myth and legend. Introduced to her new "job" Character B has spent her time away from Character A working as an inspiration to downtrodden artists who need some kind of help to get through their struggles in creative blocks, and even in life struggles. Character A, despite being wildly successful has spiraled, drugs and alcohol becoming a crutch to ease the pain of the past, feelings of emptiness, and a creative block that has left him stuck for months at a time. It is when Character B is sent to assist Character A, the two must revisit old feelings and new problems, in turn trying to save one another.
*I have further ideas for this and would love, love, love to plot out more or even something a little different than what I have.
