Hobby writer with experience in many genres looking for role play! I do have samples here, if needed. I tend to match my partner/group in terms of post length or quality, but I am more than willing to accommodate any scenario. As long as we're all on the same page and we're having fun, then it's a good time for everyone involved.

About me:

• I work full-time and would appreciate some leeway in posting frequency.
• I will gladly look over any role play offered whether they're one-on-one or group roleplays.
• I tend to be lax about about a lot of things and try not to take a whole lot too seriously.
• I have a Discord account for convenience of contact.

Posting habits:

• I tend to favor a third-person point of view, but I don't have a strong preference regarding perspective.
• I tend not to have a set minimum or maximum with regards to post replies. If asked to open a roleplay scenario, I usually go into a fair bit of detail before reaching an average of 2-3 paragraphs as the situation demands.
• My initial posts tend to be lengthier than my average especially if we're working with an original setting, but at your request I can try to limit it as much as possible.
• I would very much appreciate any criticism or commentary regarding how I write.

Preferences:

• Discuss with me! I consider myself rather open to most things.
• I'd much rather keep an open line of communication than have to work in a strictly RP-only environment.
• I am comfortable writing men or women, whichever would fit our setting.
• Characters welcome! If you have an idea for a character I can play opposite yours, pass it my way and we can talk about it. Otherwise, I like having a discussion before we dive directly into the roleplay to see them grow.
• While I love exploring fandoms or existing worlds, I tend not to be comfortable playing canon characters. These are characters that can certainly exist in the periphery, but I'm not sure I can do these characters justice if they're the focus.
• I'm a big fan of anything romantic or including romantic elements, but they are not strictly required.
• Unless certain plot elements are discussed ahead of time, I prefer improvising the world and events around our characters. If you prefer something more structured, please let me know!
• I have a good bit of worldbuilding experience in high fantasy and tend to gravitate toward magical or supernatural themes, so sci-fi, medieval fantasy, and modern day superheroics are settings I enjoy exploring.

High Magic Fantasy:

• The Constable's Game

The Kingdom of Nefria prides itself in its luxury goods - fine wines, silken textiles, and leather products being among the many exports that allow its inhabitants to lead an opulent lifestyle while being at the heart of the Corvan Highlands. At its center is Drakeguard Castle - its shining beacon of resplendence and excess, welcoming all with the coin into its golden walls. The King, Oliver II, has held an iron vice over the kingdom and its people for nearly a decade now, but a recent rumor that's flown from beyond his inner circle is that he worships devils - a rumor he intends on keeping silent.

With the disappearance of Queen Mara, the constable of the castle, Uriah Jinn, has put out a call to action to anyone willing to listen - be it wayward adventurers, traveling holy folk, or even the beggar who once claimed to be a knight - but to little avail. Strange things have appeared in the absence of a queen - monsters have appeared in the homes of many, demons the size of houses stalk the streets at night, and creatures of legend once thought to have been only myth take to the skies. While the Iron King Oliver keeps his silence, the Golden Kingdom teeters on a razor's edge, waiting for the smallest push to save it from itself or to plummet into obscurity.

• The Raiders of Whitemoor

In the past two or three months, the leader of the Whitemoor Raiders, Reed "Bone Shank" Stefansson, has proven his incompetence time and again in failing to topple even the poorest of villages despite superior numbers and riding ability. Food is growing scarce, loot is not being reliably distributed, resources are coming from the bottom of barrels, and morale is at an all-time low. Suffice it to say, mutiny is at hand - though those who remain loyal to Bone Shank seem driven by a vague promise of something greater than the plains.

Even so, the Raiders have - or had - a reputation to uphold, but between monsters prowling the countryside, internal conflict, rival raider encampments, and villages that may or may not take kindly to their presence, the victories earned will be hard-fought with the blood of their enemies, the sweat of their brow, and the lamentations of the enemy's husbands and wives. In time, perhaps, the Raiders would show everyone the realm over the meaning of crimson diplomacy - or what it meant to fade from memory.

• Wanted: Tavern Help

A posting on a nearby bulletin board requests help from anyone who would be willing to help turn an old watering hole into a local attraction. Recently purchased by a retired adventurer who would serve as the barkeep, the offer would seem tempting were it not for the fact that "price was negotiable." Years spent adventuring may have skewed his perspective somewhat, but as with many things in his life, "anything worthwhile was worth charging into one hundred percent!"

Little did he know that not all financial problems could be solved by swinging a sword.

I'm currently looking for players for a supernatural high school RP. In summary, members of a club, as well as random students at the school, are awakening latent, magical abilities based off their spirits and past lives. Though the source of the power is the same, each instance should be unique almost similar to anime or manga series like Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Busou Renkin, or Nobunagun.
