Psychopath:
a serial killer themed auction recruit

Recruit Start: June 02 2008
Recruit End: June 13 2008 12PM PST
Looking For: 3-6 artists

Alright, so please join in on stuff on page 14? Thar is new shiz.

Serial killers are fascinating, no? You know the names - Ted Bundy, Albert Fish, Aileen Wuornos, Jack the Ripper, Norman Bates, Hannibal Lector...

I am looking for 3 - 6 other artists to join me in a non charity serial-killer themed art auction. You would choose a famous serial killer or psychopath (fictional or real) and, if chosen, draw them, a victim of them, or yourself as them.

PARTICIPANTS:

Chosen artists must be able to complete a theme picture and have their post filled in two weeks
I know I'm not amazing, but I'm still learning. I'm looking for artists that have unique art. I'm not going to say you have to be as good as so and so, or up to this bar, because that's so weird to have to say. Just apply 3nodding
Hanging around the recruit thread, posting pictures, chatting etc is a factor in the decision making process. I want to know that the people I'll be doing this with are reliable.

Experience: I've been in... three auctions before, am currently in four or five. I've never run an auction before though, but hopefully I'll make it.
Activity: Usually every day, and if not then it's only for a couple days that I'm offline. I'm addicted.
Will: Anthro/furry, short colorful hair, dynamic poses (with guidance)
Won't: Period Costumes, longlonglong hair, body builder physiques, babies.
Other: Nah.

Experience: Um...I think 6-7 auctions, the two recent were autobought at 1 mil/artist
Activity: Every day, unless my internet poops
Will: Anything not on won't...artistic nude, muscles, unique OCs, light backdrops, blood, complex poses/costumes/characters
Won't: pr0nz, anything that doesn't have a human head, major anthro, complex backdrops, most avatars, DBZ-level muscles, mundane characters/avatars
Other: In psychology, we got to watch interviews with Ted Bundy...it was way too fascinating

Psychopath: Sylar from Heroes, since he's a smexeh serial killer and is awesome. >=] As for a second one, would V from "V for Vendetta" be considered a serial killer? If not, then umm... I have no second choice. =| Maybe Hannibal Lecter from "The Silence of the Lambs", even if I have yet to watch the film. I've heard though that it's really good though, and that Hannibal Lecter is awesome. xD

Experience: Never been in an auction before. >.>; But, I'm currently part of a joint art shop at the moment. Also, I used to draw for request theads in the R&C and stuff~
Activity: I'm on everyday, even if the hour/s per day varies at times. I do make an effort to at least post once in my joint art shop, and would make the same effort for the auction thread if chosen~
Will: Anything that isn't listed in the "Won't" part. xD
Won't: The usual: Mecha, Nudity (maybe tasteful ones though), full Anthros, Overly Huge Muscles, Yaoi/Yuri (unless it's subtle), and hard animals to draw (I could try though).
Other: I'm very much intrigued and interested in the concept of this auction, even if this isn't exactly my cup of tea. But, I honestly love the originality of it, and would love to be a part of a good and original themed auction, especially since most themes are becoming a tad repetitive nowadays with the auctions I happen to browse through. xD

Activity: I check up on everything a couple times per day when I don't have time to be on, but when I do have time, I'm on quite a lot.
Will: Pretty much anything not on my won't do list.
Won't: Couples, animals, anthro, chibi, cell shaded, incredibly complex pose unless I'm really feeling like I'm up for it
Other: I'll be out of town June 22-July 6 without any computer access. I this could cause problems, I can talk to you and try to find a way for me to work around it.
