I want to go to a Con so bad... I've never been. But I never seem to have enough money to manage the trip when they roll around. ^.^; I suuuck at saving up for things too. XD Someday though... someday. :shakes fist:

Added another foal to my samples. ^>^ Sort of a mix of two ideas, but I love him anyway. XD First time I've really attempted to approximate an animal print without a brush. ^.^; I think it turned out decent, but that could just be pride talking. XD If anyone has any crits, I'd love to hear them... really interested in growing as a colorist. <3

I'm happy to hear input from just about anyone, so long as it isn't 'omg u sux'. XD I'm really trying to expand my art horizons, and in order to learn, you have to be willing to take feedback! ^.^

Ill be honest, and I think most B/C shops are like this, stamps/brushes/stencils are a absolute 'no' when it comes to good looking pets. If you cant draw it by hand, you would be better doing something else rather than stamping something on.

1) it just looks cheap and tacky

2) it helps you learn how to be more creative c:

Also, if you are looking for some crit, Cerri, the stripes on his back, make them move a bit with the body instead of just a straight line c: Anatomically the body bows out a bit, so the lines wouldnt be completely straight to start with c:

I'm trying to get out of the use of brushes - I know they don't really look good. ^.^; It's been fun the past few weeks, playing with the lines. ^.^ I know I probably won't get the position, but it's been great being able to practice mah skills - BC pets are generally the way I do it without getting really, really frustrated. XD It's fun for me, so instead of getting made at myself, I'm like 'gotta get this right'. :nods: But that doesn't change the fact that I'm still very raw. XD
