I love it when new Pokemon games come out, especially when they have new Pokemon. I may complain about a few of them, but for the most part, I love them all. It's annoying when people's rose-colored glasses have loudspeakers on them, and instead of just playing Red and Blue and keeping their traps shut, they expect everyone to like the same versions they do and hate everything new. Change is scary, yo. neutral

They probably would make lots of pokemon from european folklore and culture.
European style dragons, knights, trolls, lepracauns, two headed ravens, gargoyles
would be kinda neat actually
i know some pokemon already are based on some of those, but they could go really all out

They could even have king/queen/royalty Pokemon instead of just 'God' Pokemon (I will admit that with all my love of Pokemon, Arceus doesn't get even a drop of it)

I think it would be awesome if they had all that European folklore and whatnot! (Although I'm not sure if you completely caught my joke, I was implying that I'd almost be more excited by the landscapes than I would be by the Pokemon. No big deal.)

I think the games have greatly improved. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy the latest games, but I'll definitely keep up with serebii.net to see all the new pokemon.

My question is how Godly are they going to make the new legendaries? I mean Arceus is pretty much God, what are the creator going to do with B/W legendaries?

There are plenty of legends they can base legendaries off of, and they can always go back to specific element/type legendaries, but I do agree they painted themselves into a corner with Arceus with regards to one-upping the previous generation.

They could always do something opposite to Arceus. If Arceus is God-like, what is going to be Devil-like?

But, that just might be too stereotypical, and it would depend on how they do it as well.

My freind and I had that idea a long time ago. He decided to call it
Appocalypsia (if you have a better name be my guest). We also decided that at level 100 he should learn a ohko move that never misses, but only has one power point (called armageddon, appocallypse, new beggining or whatever else of the sort). We decided that it can be used outside of battle like sweet scent or headbutt to restart the game while keeping all your pokemon. Useful for getting all the starters, all the legendaries, or possibly unlocking new legendaries or plotlines. I decided that the game's evil team should collect all three orbs, the adamant, lusterous, and grecious orbs, and combine them to form an egg. They know from mythology that the egg will hatch into Appocalypsia, and want to catch it to harness it's power but can't because you already have the master ball. So basically, you fight all the baddies, it hatches and you get to fight it. My only problem is that I want him to be hard to catch because I want him to make a really sweet powerhouse sweeper, a little like Mewtwo. He should be ghost something type. Not dragon because that's what Giratina is, and all those dragon types make me sick. I would even go for ghost-normal type, since it has no super effective move types against it. Maybe that would be too good for a powerhouse sweeper. Anyway, he should look like a big black ghostish snake with red eyes and grey teeth. I realize I'm all over the place, but you got me excited.

I had come up with something more Sun and Moon themed, but Cresselia already took the moon design. It had been based more on the tidal aspects of the moon, you know, Rock and Water, or just water. Tidus or Lunatide or something, Solark or something less stupid for the Rock Fire or just Fire one... Names are irritating to come up with. Though Lunatone and Solrock... huh... Maybe I could just make them evolutions for them and tone down the moves and such... Thoughts?

If they were legendaries, maybe the main one would be galaxy, nebula, comet, or black hole based.

◆◆And just a note, a better idea for the move that restarts the game (though that would never ever work ever) would be instead of keeping all of your pokemon, you keep one in its first form with slightly higher IV's at level 5 or 10 or something, and you start with that and get the other starter too.

Whenever someone gets all "Gen 1 only, lol" I get filled with rage. I'm positive they've never even played a game after Red/Blue and are just being stubborn for the sake of being stubborn.
