Pidgeot: To'Raken.
Typhlosion: Firaga.
Ampharos: Thundaga.
Empoleon: Waterga.
Blaziken: Enfire.
Blaziken: Torch.
Infernape: Agraar.
Gyarados: Fearsiphon.
Ditto: Broodmommy.

My Ditto's name is from Dragon Age. I would have used Broodmother, but it doesn't fit...
Arcanine and Pidgeot's names come from The Wheel of Time series. Torch is obvious. My Infernape's name is an OC of mine. And the rest are from FF.

You should name a Ponyta/Rapidash Mandarb.

I-I... can't believe I never thought of that. You know what? When I next decide to nickname a Ponyta/Rapidash it will be Mandarb. Thank you for this.

I'm only just now getting into nicknaming pokemon. I always liked the names they were given as as species. Especially since I'm terrible at coming up with nicknames. These are the one's I've nicknamed:

Luxray - Volkat (voltage cat)
Umbreon - Umbriel (the name of one of Pluto's moons, I'm not just being unoriginal :3)
Flygon - Sirocco (the name of a desert wind)
Lapras - Laplace (name of the scientist who formulated equations to predict the tide)
Metagross - Pt 78 (the chemical symbol and atomic number of platinum, 'cause he's shiny :3)
Arcanine - Han (based off of the lion dog statues that originated in China during the Han Dynasty)
Lucario - Loki (just because he feels like a "Loki" to me)

And Geochick the Geodude. Because for some reason, I always end up running into female Geodudes when I want to catch one.
