There is heaps wrong here, esspecially... well I won't even start, but the shape of the face is something I need a hand with. I am stumped though on how to go about fixing it though, particularly which line needs to go where. So any help, lines or suggestions would be most welcome and appreciated....

Sorry for the poor quality I dont own a scanner to took a picture

Since this is a female, you'll want to de-emphisize the brain cavity portion and make the lower portion of the head a bit fuller, starting with the cheek bones. It's hard to describe precisely, but I suggest you google artistic depictions of male vs female heads, or better yet just look up how-tos. They are rather elementary, sometimes, but its surprising how useful they can be for when you want to correct something that you get stuck on.

Ah yes- thank-you for that. I do understand what you mean. Anime isn't my usual style so I did not think to check the tuts around, and I did give it a go. So whilst I don't think I have got it a 0 (and am going to have to bare in mind next time), I'd like to think there is some improvement there.

Looking at it- yea I need to work on the line of the hat, just to make the cranium not look so full.

It's looking much better. To make the face match the body, however, I strongly suggest hinting at the ear and suggesting a jawline indicating the end of the face, lest it begin to look too full. Also, drawing in a cheek bone below the eyesocket on the farside, would be much to the pictures benefit. Starting just under the eye, go outward with the line and then, after meeting that, take it back in. It will give much more form and dimensionality to the face, I think you'll find.
If you'd like additional notes on the body, I'd be happy to furnish you with them.
