i didn't even see the new skin until trying items on at the marketplace.
i freaked out.

it's way unfair.
i mean, i worked hard on this avatar. and if i can't get it back later, then
i'm not changing it.
not to mention, i did half of the missions with IE and it kept scrolling back
up each time i'd try to click 'accept' which made it so much worse.

It is hardly a prize. It's not supposed to be considered an amazing prize. That's the whole point. The Gaia staff knew what they were doing ahead of time and most likely didn't scrounge that skin up out of nowhere just because. This was a team event and you B.O.O. people just chose the wrong team. That is your fault. To blame the staff members at Gaia is a complete and utter slap in the face to the people who created this website all together. Be thankful that this site even exists and that there was even a Halloween event this year because frankly I believe that they are running out of Halloween and other such holiday event ideas. Don't be spoiled and complain just because a couple of pixels ruined your day a little because you got something taken away from you. You should have known that this event was a gamble when you agreed to participate in a team-vs-team scenario. And it shouldn't be insulting at all because I don't see how this would impact your real life outside of this virtual world. If you are one of those dumb people who bought followers with real cash, then that sucks for you and I can see why you would be a little upset, but once again you are the only ones to blame for that. Not the staff.

I think it's safe to mention nobody was planning on getting an "amazing" prize. It seems you missed the "nothing would have been better" piece. Praytell, who are you judge people for picking the "wrong team"? Do you say that to every fan whose sports team loses? Essentially, there was no "right" or "wrong" choice. My fault? Gee, I guess I shouldn't have gone to work or sleep and just play 24/7. News flash, my dear: Gaia isn't special. I could just as easliy found my way to another site, but I found this one first. Of course I'm going to blame Gaia. Nobody forced them to make this wrong choice. Spoiled? How do you figure, Sherlock? And the point you seem to be missing is, if people don't complain, how will a business learn from its disappointed customers? Of course it was a gamble. In any case this was an insult after having spent so much time and gold on the missions. While I'd like my old skin back, I could live without it, I just want to get rid of this humiliating potato garbage. It's just mean after all the work we did. SIN would be bitching up the wall if they got this, too.
