We the users of Gaia were once drawn to this site for its amazing plot. The characters had depth, and the updates kept us entranced as the fictional world of Gaia and its inhabitants were developed and expanded upon as time went by.

We feel that as of late, you have taken away the focus on serious plot. And the joke of an excuse for a plot we have is mostly teen drama with fling romance and fanservice to cater to those who still have a shred of hope for some serious plot.

We hope that by seeing how many users agree, on this petition, that you will change your ways and give the users what they want. More plot. BETTER plot. And plot that occurs more consistently, and frequently, as it once did when we the users would only go a month, two tops, without a plot update.

There are many ways to produce plot, and we encourage you to add depth and creativity, not just creating themed stories around holiday events.

Please hear our pleas Gaia staff, and BRING THE PLOT BACK.

The original intent of this petition, as you all know, is to support that we the Gaia users want our plot updates back. Gaia has had a serious lack of plot, whether it be in manga form or other.

The users of Gaia want plot. Not a soap opera drama about teen romance with fanservice in-between, they want REAL PLOT. The kind that hooked them into this site in its beginning.

Originally, when i created this petition with this same intent, I became overwhelmed with how many signatures occurred. I couldn't keep up.

Well, I have newfound determination and I am trying to get this petition moved BACK to the Petitions forum, and will edit in all the signatures thus far and keep this petition going strong.

Expect many updates and editing, as this petition will be my primary focus on Gaia. I recently lost my job, so I have lots of time to stay at home, being out of school, and work on this petition. surprised

And while I'm sure most users do enjoy the events, they don't have to be tied into the storyline-
that puts ridiculous constraints on what kind of plot updates we get [namely, it ensures every update with involve some conflict that inevitably draws in all of Gaians].
I think I speak for a lot of fangirls and boys when I say that I don't need to be involved in everything that happens in the ongoing plot.
And I'd really just love to know some backstories on some of the NPCs: why did Edmund get involved with the whole Von Helson situation? How did Johnny K. and Rosalie meet? Where did Devin and Natasha come from? You get the idea...

It's nice when the storylines are complimented with new store front quotes and items [referring the The MASQUE arc here], but a regular installment of manga updates detailing what's been going on in the lives of various NPCs would do the trick.
I think a lot of us would settle for more regular installments of the ministrips in between manga updates.
Really, we just want to know what's going on in the Gaiaverse.
