Acting Class / Improving

So I've decided I wan't to do theater. Yes i'm 18 so I'd be starting a little later then most I know my age in theater, who most started younger 6-13; I believe I have what it takes. Any tips on practice/improv with myself or maybe a friend until I get into a class.

I absolutely LOVE improv! It's so much fun, but it takes a creative mind and a will to do crazy things to get the desired reaction from your audience.
Don't worry about how late you start in theatre- I technically started pretty late too. If it's something you love, just GO FOR IT. Don't let anyone stop you. whee
Anyhoo, I've never been taught HOW to improv, I just kind of learned by observation.
