After being stuck in the physical state of children for two whole years (not counting the few temporary turn backs), Shinichi and Shiho (Formerly Conan Edogawa and Ai Haibara) have taken the permanent antidote, and they decide to go to university. Shinichi decides to study Psychology, while Shiho decides to study Education for her 4 years, finding it in her interest to become a science teacher. Although Shiho lives with her extended family, she still wants to earn some of her own money, and she finds herself working as a part-time detective alongside Shinichi.
For the most part, it's been going well, but many of the cases that they are assigned to have to do with abnormal situations. Sometimes, they'll get stuck with an inadequate clue, but they will always find the truth, no matter how odd it may be.
Inspired by the Lady Layton anime and The X-Files.
