You mean "catholic". From what I remember the only christian churches that have priests are the catholic church, the orthodox church and the church of england. Only in the latter can priests marry, but that church is a very small sect.

it's true that historically speaking priests that are now forbidden to get married in parts of christianity were able to get married I saw it on PBS

Its because they have CHOSEN to take a VOW to DEVOTE the rest of the lives in SERVICE of the church. Perhaps it has something to do with the Apostle Paul’s advice that it is better for a man not to marry in order to serve god better.

Its because you are a muslim. Ive read some of those anti-christian threads and some of the christians there feel the same way as you do. But alas someone has to defend their religion.
