Well thank you for putting up with me then. Well in Galations 1:6-10 it specificaly says even if he ((Which I did notice didn't come down to him)) or even an angel, which I think is Important since Lucifer himself was an angel, preaches any other message that they should recieve the curse of god?

Also this I think is in common with both religions, I notice that there are 2 archangels and when Lucifer fell 1/3 of the angels went with him. What if in the trinity there was one arch angel for each piece? What if Lucifer was gods personal archangel, which would explain why he was so close to god, and when he fell the 1/3 of angels that fell were the angels under his command so when he was guilty of pride all of the other angels he was in charge of had to go with him. Basicaly what I am theorizing is what if Lucifer was god's personal archangel? this is merely speculation I can not back up this theory biblicaly

Lucifer wasn't an angel, though. At least not according to Mormonism. He held the same potential as you or me.

As for the archangel bit. . . . there are a lot more than just 3 archangels. Gabriel, Michael (who became Adam), Peter. . .ok, I can only think of 3 off the top of my head, but it is 3 am right now. . .

I kind of like your theory on the 1/3 aspect, however, mormon doctrine contradicts your personal theory, in a manner of speaking. The 1/3 that were cast out of heaven were all those who believed that Lucifer was right. . . and fought in the war that took place. Also included in the 1/3 are those who took no stance. "If ye be lukewarm, I shall spit thee out" or something like that.

Sorry, I try to be like 7-11. . . you know, "We may not be doing business, but we are always open". However, as my eyes are having a hard time focusing. . . and my fiance is already in bed. . . I go! I shall return though. As has been said before, "Darkslider is the only consistant poster" (the original quote had "for his side of the argument" or something like that. . . but since I am the only person who has been on this thread consistantly since it was in the double digits, well you get the idea) . . if you have any other questions, feel free to post them. I will answer when I can.
alright thank you for your help, honestly I probably don't know enough about my own beliefs to be picking apart yours but I think this is helpful to me.

You aren't picking apart my beliefs. I believe that the Mormon religion is the most false and corrupt organization on the Earth. But, I have been studying my ex-religion for more years than most of the other posters on this thread have been able to spell Mormon. At least, their recent arguments lead me to believe so.

Like I said in another of my posts I don't really know enough about my own beliefs so my theory can easily be considered wrong. However this bring up a few new questions that I will admit may be answered and I just don't know it, Where does the bible say that Michael became Adam? I'm also pretty sure the bible says that lucifer was an angel, but if he wasn't i am confused on what he is since he was in the garden as the serpent, so he couldn't be human since he has been since before humans.

if it is you're exbelief why are you defending it? Why would you want some one else to go to it if you don't believe it is true?

As a side note this is just another one of these little things like the fall of Lucifer thing I said, just something I cannot back up biblicaly but could be true. Light is a created thing correct? Then shouldn't it, like all other created things, fall under the laws of entropy? What if light eventualy dies? I believe god will have done something by then if that is true though

That is all good. Looking for knowledge is almost as good as having knowledge.

As for Michael becoming Adam in the Bible. . . you will never find it. That is something that is strictly Mormon in origin. In fact, I think it is only in the Pearl Of Great Price. . . or was it the Endowment ceremony that you learn that. I don't remember, but I will look through some of my research to find out.

Per Lucifer being an angel. . . still off. According to the Mormons, because the war in heaven occured before the earth was created, all were still spirits. Since Lucifer was cast out of heaven (thereby ineligible to come to earth and receive his mortal body) he was able to assume the form of a serpent. . . but even that cannot be taken literaly, because the serpent is often used as a metaphorical creature that represents evil. It was used as such, because most people have a natural aversion to snakes.

Well I have nothing to really say on the part about Michael and Adam since I don't know anything about it.

I'll have to do more of my own research about lucifer but what you say does make sense so I'll think about that. I'm still pretty sure he was one but you know what I have no proof of that so I just need to find out more

Who is defending it? You aren't attacking it. . . I am just answering your questions with what the Mormons believe. I can answer your questions. . . therefore, I should answer your questions. Besides, Pro-Truth and Apologists alike can only agree that morons who don't know what is taught, piss both factions off.

When you start asking about stuff like "Why the racism in the Church" or "Why do the temple ceremonies keep changing" or "How can the Holy Ghost be used as evidence of truth". . . those are the things that I will really get going on.

Informing you of what the mormons believe doesn't lead one to them. . . s**t, if that were the case I would be so hard-core mormon it would make some of the Apologists sick.

Light: Damn, that is an interesting point. I had never thought of that before, but I think that it could be explained several different ways.

1. It was made of God, therefore is perfect and cannot decay. I don't personally believe this, but that is because I don't believe in God.

2. Take the Sun for example, God supposedly created it. It decays. The sun is our source of light. . . so I guess technically, light does decay.

Again, both ideas hinge upon God being real.
Ok, for real this time. I am going to bed. Keep asking questions. Always question everything. . . even the things you know are true.

good point I said defending for lack of a better term though sorry for that little bit of confusion. But one of the points you make about it was made by god so it's perfect and cannot decay I don't believe to be correct. Since everything is created by god and everything does decay. Also light was made before the sun which is very interesting since it does not explain where the light is from, just that it is there. So this would be very interesting if you think about it, what if light decayed and died before the sun?
Well seeing as you like this topic and I would like to know about it, can you help me with the question of how can the Holt ghost be used as evidence of the truth?

lol sorry I just find this kind of thing very interesting... probably because I can't get an answer for it and want one xd
As for Adam being Michael, that confuses me. I've read a verse in the D&C where it says, "Jesus, and Adam, and Michael", etc. Showing them seperate.
