You lean heavily on your walking stick as you approach the cabin, feeling the large lump on your head and wondering what happened. As you come closer to the cabin door, you hear chirps and squeaks, and uneasy female voices. Nervously, you knock softly on the cabin door. You hear footsteps from inside, and the door creaks open, revealing a young woman with white hair, how peers curiously at you for a second before shouting, "Hunny! Christy! We have a customer!" And with that, she pulls you inside. As your eyes adjust to the dim interior, you spot dragons curled up in the corner of the room.

September 13th-We have an event coming up tomorrow. Can you guess what it it themed? You can?! Well, I'll tell you anyway! ~The Savanna Event~ Sounds(or looks) spiffy eh? It starts tomorrow and 12:00 pst. Now of course, we co owners are going somewhere and will be there for...who knows how long, so if we don't open the event on time, do not be alarmed. WE ARE STILL ALIVE!!! If you want to check up on the thread, go to the guild and go to the "Events" subforum. Do not be alarmed if you can't post there. It will be under co-owners management ONLY and you will not be allowed to post there until we say the word.
September 10th-Well, I've finally taken a look at that old forgotten poll, and the pick-ups post was won anonymously. :] It will take a while to put it in place and all, but it should make things easier on owners. Also, I'm beginning to start work on an owners' list, but it won't be up and running for a week or so. And, the two events have been revealed: A Custom Poke`mon raffle and a Savannah event. Look forward to these. ;} And keep in mind they've been pushed back because of school. ^^;

August 31st-Would. You. Like. To. Play. A. Game? I certainly hope so! Just ask to be signed up for the War Games game by saying, "I would like to play geothermal nuclear war!" In size 18 bold green letters. All will be revealed when the sign-up is over, 7PM PST SEPTEMBER 1ST. ANYONE CAN PLAY. PLAYING IS FREE. The prize is a uniquely edited dragon and one in a set of four-that's all I can tell you! =u

August 22nd-Of course, I found a little mistake with the certs the day before yesterday. It was missing gender. OOPS. Then, yesterday afternoon, I saw it was missing temper. o__o
If you had an updated cert, it will be updated(yet again) in the next batch of growings. Also, we need you opinions!


August 18th-THE CERTS HAVE BEEN UPDATED! It costs 1k to update an old cert, simply request it in the thread and send the trade. Also, we're separating the custom information from the adoption information and moving it to the old item shop post. Plus, the front page is getting a semi-facelift.

Notes From the Staff

I really would like people to float over to the guild now, and I'd like some of our regulars to role-play a little more. For a few weeks, the role-play thread had only ONE post, which is simply sad. Also, I'd like to note that guild RP tends to have a seriousness thread RP often lacks, and a place for guild RP is one of the main reasons we got the guild in the first place.
And don't try to steal the art. We have trained ninja hamsters at every entrance. ninja

Hey, Chriss here! I just want to tell you that no matter how many boring rules there are, the most important rule is to have fun. The only reason that my friends and I made Lord of the Wings is for people to have fun with dragons, since people can't do that in real life! So, run wild! Have fun already!

One not-so-ordinary-but-not-so-unusual-day, three enchantresses started to create potion from an ancient spellbook that brought the eggs of a species long extinct, draconius latunus, into existence. Making the potion was an infuriatingly long and excruciating process, but in the end it was a failure. One sister snuck an unneeded ingredient when her sisters backs were turned, hoping it would save their efforts. Soon, the other sisters did the same. This change in the recipe was very dangerous, but the sisters weren't going to stop until they got what they wanted. Three day and three nights later, in effect to the changes, the potion rapidly boiled down into three, solid eggs. The changes in the recipe also came with another surprise: These dragons could think, feel emotions, and speak. Just like humans.

Soon the dragons were breeding left and right, and the small cabin was almost smothered in eggs and hatchlings. The enchantresses soon came up with a satisfying solution to the problem: opening a dragon shop. To this day, the enchantresses, Hunny-sempi00, EmilyAnn07, and DramaConCristy remain here in the shop, trying to find the dragons good, loving homes.

Installment two:

Several months later, the enchantresses are getting the hang of running a shop, and finding it surprisingly fun. They have not only strengthened the bonds of old friends in this shop, but have made many new ones.

Their hearts swell with pride upon their creations, full of grace and strength. But their hearts also swell at the many loyal friendships have been forged out of need and a common love of these amazing creatures.

--------&Same sex breedings are allowed. (Seeing as the breeding process seems to involve scales[the measuring type], oil paints, and ostrich eggs)
--------&Breeding is 5000g (or 5k) and you mat choose to split the price any way you wish if you are breeding one of your dragons and one of someone else's.

A. No. End of discussion. Threatening the staff is a sure-fire way to put yourself on the graylist, possibly the blacklist.


Q. Oh, these are cuuuuute! Can I get one for free?

A. Maaaaaybe. But if we're not giving any out at the moment, assume the answer is no.


Q.How do I get one?

A. Currently, there are four ways to get one.
Flatsale-I post the available dragons and their breed/type. You can claim one and fill the form out later, or claim one through the form.
Raffle-You can by tickets for a set price. There is a limited amount of time to claim tickets.
Flaffle-Combination Flatsale/Raffle, there is a limited amount of tickets.
Custom-Is probably the most expensive way to get a dragon, but well worth it. Customs have fully customizable colors and lineart edits, if you're willing to pay a little extra for them~


Q. How do you pick the winner in a Flaffle/Raffle?

A. Randomizing. Say one person buys ten tickets, and the next person buys the remaining twenty tickets. I randomize 1-30, and if it lands anywhere between 1-10, the first person wins. If it lands 11-30, the second person wins. Get it?


Q. I don't want my dragon anymore. Can I just give it away?

A. No, we would rather you gave it back to the adoption center so we can find it a good home.


Q. I bought a custom. Who do I tell what I want in it?

A. P.M. the artist, EmilyAnn07 what you want, and she'll make a few examples, and you tell her which one you like best.


Q. Where do I roleplay?

A. Visit the "Roleplay" section. From there, you just click on the link to go to out roleplay thread.


Q. Are you one of the co-owners?

A. No, just the mule you send trades to. If I am posting, it's because all the owners know the password, and one of the owners is on me. To tell who is the one, just take a look at the staff section.


Q. Why aren't you in the "Staff" section?

A. Look up one question.


Q.Would you say these are the best pets on Gaia?

A.Yes, but I'm incredibly bias.

Q. What's with the "Temper" thingy on the certificate?

A.That is your dragons disposition, or nature if you will. It's basically a guide how you should role-play your dragon. So if your temper is evil, please don't go around role-playing this little angel. It bugs us. ^^;


Q. Can these dragons be homosexual?

A. Yupyup. Same sex breeding is allowed. Check the breeding post for more info.


Q. Why isn't it in the trade!? Dude, your stealing from me, I'll tell all my friends you suck!

A.It's art, it's not an equipable item. You can put it in your journal, profile or signature. That is how it works, it is a physical impossibility for any user to make their own clothing item an sell it. Please, use common sense! You would have to tweak the very innards of Gaia to sell your own clothing items. You have to accept the trade, and we will private massage you the dragon. It is impossible for us to put an image in the trade.

Q. I've had my dragon, fer like, FOREVER! Why hasn't it grown up?!

A.Either
1. You did not direct link your dragon.
2. You did not refresh the page after a growing. You may have to refresh the page to see changes.
3. You did not roleplay or interact with your dragon. The key to make a dragon grow is some healthy love and care!
4. The artist is really busy and can't finish it right now.
I know it doesn't seem like it, but seriously, I have a life too, and I can't spend every minute working on pixel art.

When you roleplay with your pet, you can get things called "Gems." You get 1 gem per roleplay post you do. There is a special section of the item shop where you can trade your gems for an item to spoil your dragon. There maybe other hidden perks to roleplaying, but you have to do it to figure them out!
