I'd be a dwarf, no doubt about it. Being a hobbit would be too bland for me, and elves tend to be a bit too... elven for my taste. (No offense. cat_sweatdrop )

I would definitely be a hobbit. It's pleasant, everyone seems to get along, not much danger, very with nature and full of food, celebration and drinking!! Also I'm naturally short anyway ^_^ and not having to wear socks and shoes is a great gift if you ask me =]
