Welcome! Thanks for stopping by the official Quest for Senior quest thread!! I'm still in the process of getting things organized, but we are now open for comments. Hope you enjoy~

Well, with the recent news about rainbow seals being retired, I highly doubt I'll be able to finish this quest in time. I'm hoping they'll make something new to replace it, but honestly, who even knows at this point. I want to thank everyone who's helped out so far, you guys are really awesome.

So hey peeps, kinda been a while, but I've decided that I'm just going to end the quest here. If gaia decides to bring back something like this again I may pick it back up, but honestly I've kinda given up on it entirely.
If you made a donation and would like it back, feel free to ask. All the quest gold is staying on my mule so it's not going anywhere.

BACKSTORY

Because who doesn't love origin stories?
Well, once upon a time, in a thread far far away, a random thought came to me. If there's a Junior the Shark, where's the Senior? So I decided to make my own Senior the Shark!
This basically just involved me putting a top hat and mustache on Junior.
While at the time just a simple joke, someone else saw and commented on how amazing Senior looked, and almost 40 pages later, Senior became a big deal.
So now, after months of talking about how awesome Senior the Shark is, I've decided to try to make Senior a reality and open up a quest thread for him!

And now I hope you all will like to see him become real as well. So keep reading for more info on everything!

MOCK UPS

When I first drew Senior, I pretty much just drew a Junior with some minor modifications, so it wasn't anything real special.

But thankfully a lovely friend of mine made some nice mock ups to make Senior look much more dapper ^^

Here's the list of everyone who has donated, along with how much gold I've accumulated to get the seal. Since I'm not sure when or how much the seal will cost, but going by the marketplace, I'm guestimating I'll need about 12 trillion gold, just to be on the safe side.
Feel free to donate most anything! While gold is the preferred way, you can donate kin, potions, even items if you want. Just make sure to send the trade to either me or Madame the Shark, and label the trade as "Senior Donations"

RAFFLE TIME!

Now to the good stuff, raffles!
Since the creator gets 25 copies when the kin is made, I'm going to hold a raffle for you to win a chance of getting your very own Senior.
The rules will be simple, fill out this easy form below, and I'll put your name in the drawing! When the ticket gets filled and I get my copies, I'll pick between 2-3 random numbers and whoever has the winning number will get the kin. Easy right?

Each entry will cost 1 bil gold. I will also accept Skill Plus potions and on the rare occasion, Ally Plus potions as possible entry fees. Here's the breakdown
1 entry: 1 billion gold, Ally Plus (50%), Skill Plus (100%)
2 entries: 2 billion gold, Ally Plus (100%), Skill Plus (200%)
In order to offer any Ally Plus potions, you must first get my approval before sending a trade.
I will also accept kin as payment for entries, but again they must be approved by me first.
Any kin used for entry in the raffle will be used in future giveaways, so I won't accept every kin that comes by.
The amount of entries a kin will be worth will be determined by what it's average mp worth is, along with some other factors
Some new rules may be added as the time comes, but for now that's it. If you need any clarification feel free to message me

CONTEST!!

2 TRILLION GRAND BONANZA!
(Ends February 17th, midnight)

We finally hit 2 trillion in the Senior fund, huzzah!! So let's celebrate with a cool new contest here!
This one will be a lil different from my previous ones, and a lot easier to enter as well. For those of you who don't know, I absolutely love recoloring kin. But recently I've been in a bit of a slump coming up with new ideas to do. So what I want you to do is give me your suggestions for what kin and what color scheme you'd like to see come alive!! Easy right? Just fill out the form below and at the end of the contest, I'll pick which suggestions I like the best and they'll win a prize. And if I like it enough, I might even make a mock of it!
That might be a lie though, I may make a mock of all of them. I have no impulse control...

How to participate:
Below you will find a form to fill out, asking you what kin and what color scheme you'd like to see made. Simple to fill out but please keep the rules in mind.

Rules:
~Contest will end on my birthday, February 17th at midnight. Please keep that in mind
~There's no limit to how many entries you can suggest, but if you do multiple split them up to one entry per post please
~If you're going to use a color scheme, please make sure to use the name of the scheme in your submission. So instead of saying "leafkit in powder blue and pink", say "leafkit in bubblegum"
~Nothing complicated. Keep it within rainbow seal rules.
~You can suggest any kin except capture seal kin. I don't feel comfortable making recolors of those without permission
~Be sure to check out previous entries before submitting your. If two people make the same/similar suggestions only the first one will be counted.

Kinda reminds me of Patitomuerto's Bloop the Octopus kin...
I suggested that they put a fancy hat on it, and they said it was a cute idea but sadly didn't go for it.
