Spirit of the Smackdown

Hi everyone! As you may have noticed, we've started a new event centered around Lake Kindred. As part of these changes, you can no longer receive eggs from Stagony, Phantom Stagony, Lucky the Cat, or Cabochomp. These Kin were exclusive to our first Lake Kindred event. You may seem them in-game as enemies, but they are no longer obtainable.

Now that Spirit of the Smackdown has begun, you can receive eggs from our awesome new zOMG! inspired Kin. You can receive a brand new Kin from either Taru or Kitsuko by joining their team. Enjoy!

Healing Update

Hi everyone! Sycamorte and Phantom Sycamorte seem to have tapped some unknown power from their roots. They can now restore their Health. I wonder what other Kindred have this unique ability?

New Kin Updates:

Thea: Unsealed and now available to anyone who has the Unsealed Kindred Thea Certificate!
Mystic Pixiecroak: The Accuracy on this Kin was glitched and has been reset.
Tanzanite Cabochomp: Fixed Skills, so they are now working and useable.
Peridot Cabochomp: Currently no issues!

We have also added 2 new challenges to the Zen Gardens. Taru and Kitsuko now must deal with two new deadly Kindred who are inhabiting the abandoned temple.

Ember the Spirited Fox: This burning spirit lurks in the higher zones and has incredibly powerful attack and Sleep Abilities.
Sakura Pegacorn Fluff: Adorable, deadly and without mercy.

General Updates

Hi guys! We want you to be aware we will be making a few in game modifications over the course of this weekend (9/26/15 - 9/27/15). These changes include adding & removing Kin from various stages, stat modifications, as well as revising various level up rewards. You'll be able to check out all the changes on Monday!

Hi Everyone!
Here are the updates we've made over the past few days:

Level Up Rewards: Level up rewards have been adjusted for most kin.
Sycamorte Drops: Sycamorte and Phantom Sycamorte drops have been adjusted. The low drops have been removed and both Sycamortes and Phantom Sycamortes have been dropping something pretty interesting.
Kin Stats: No Kin stats have been adjusted as of this update.

Splicing!

Please welcome the release of Lake Kindred's biggest and most awesome update yet: Splicing! Now you can combine matching Kin of Solar and Lunar Radiants with a special Splice Item to create an entirely new Kin! More Splice Items will make their appearance at later dates, but for now, here's a quick and handy guide on your first ever Splicing experiment:

The [KINDRED] Ghostly Splicing Shard works with a Solar and Lunar matching pair of one of the following kin:
-Leafkit
-Pouncer
-Saplynx
-Cubdrop
-Ursadew
-Riptide
-Echo
-Noctus
-Myotistrike
-Aerling
-Sterling
-Stoke
-Grunny
-Lapinkin
-Sonare
-Pump Kin

Hello! Here are a few changes that have happened over the past few days:

Event Kin: You need to defeat Jack with an event kin to get on the leaderboard. You do not need to defeat Jack with an event kin to get the Labtech Notes to drop or Pumpkin Seeds.
Kin Splicing with Evolutions: You can now splice your first stage kin with the evolutions! For example: You can splice a Pouncer with a Saplynx, or an Aerling with a Stoke. All you need is for both of them to be level 10 and opposite Radiants.
Shadow Jack Drops: Shadow Jack drops have been adjusted to make it easier to achieve seeds and Labtech Notes. Shadow Jack seeds and Labtech Notes drop daily. Fight him everyday for a chance at these items!
Lapinkin Achievement: This achievement has been fixed! However, you will have to defeat the Lapinkin again to get it.

The Glowing Splicing Shard

We're rolling out our first big Splicing update since launch! emotion_yatta The new Glowing Splicing Shard can be used to create new Kin by Splicing pairs of Stagony, Cria, Pumpae, Lucky, Cabochomp, or Barkhest.

In the future, Splicing will not be free, so we definitely urge you to get your Splicing in now while the event is going on.

The level requirement to Splice may change as well! We're looking into a lot of different upgrades and tweaks to this exciting new system. Enjoy!

Update: You can now Splice Quiver as well! And there's no chance of fail if you use this special Splice Item. biggrin
