EDIT:
The links on my ribbons were not working. I have fixed both codes. If you have taken a ribbon, please replace your code with one of the codes below so that it will link back to this post and others can get a ribbon. Please let everyone know if you see them using a ribbon with a broken link. Thank you!
Now there may or may not already be an official ribbon, but I whipped this up to place in my signature and to distribute so that we can remind people about the tragedy in Japan and urge people to help whether with donations, prayers, or by spreading the word. Every little bit counts.
Please take this ribbon below and place it in your signature, in your profile, on your shop, or wherever you deem it appropriate. This is but a small token of my support for the people who are suffering.
The idea is to forget about politics and forget about the past and for us to ban together to pray for and support the people of Japan...
human beings...just like yourselves.
I have two ribbons. The difference is that the first one says Pray for Japan and the second says Hope for Japan. Please use whichever one is appropriate for you.

I encourage you to take this ribbon and direct others to this forum so they can get one as well. I also encourage you to stick around and chat about your feelings.
Please no arguments, harassment, flaming, or ill behavior here. I don't want to see it and others do not want to see it. The point of this thread is to focus on the crisis in Japan and not on petty internet arguments.
Thank you.
