A Little Bit of History...
- In the beginning, there was nothing. This nothing was called the Void. From within the nothingness, an entity willed itself into existence. This entity came to be known as Delamir the Creator. For over a thousand years, the Creator swam in the nothingness of the void. Tired of being surrounded by the nothingness, Delamir labored for over a hundred years to give shape to the realm of Eruaneos. First he filled the nothingness with water before using his own blood to create the land. On the land he used his power to raise mountains, grow vast forests, and cover the soil with plants. His realm was finished after a little more century, and it was the perfect place for a celestial to live. His footprints as he walked through his realm filled with water, become lakes. He traced his finger across the land to make rivers that started from the mountains and ran all the way to the oceans. Every time he strolled through his realm, his wake left an ever changing ripple. A few more centuries passed and Delamir the creator eventually grew lonely. Chopping off his own hands and tossing them into the sea, the Creator used the last of his power to give form to Law and Chaos. He taught the two forces everything he had come to know about the realm and how to govern it together before fading back into the Void. Law and Chaos were given absolute power over the realm and everything in it
Several eons passed and the realm was protected by the two. No outside force dared to interfere with Law and Chaos for their power was beyond even that of the creator's. Everything had been left as Delamir had made it, except for the plants that grew under the care of Chaos. Law discovered the knowledge to bring life to the still creations she made. From the underbrush of the giant forests she gave life to the elves, from the stone from the unmovable mountains she gave life to the dwarves, and from the rich soil of the vast plains she gave life to the humans. The divine force watched happily as her creations prospered, building civilizations and gaining what knowledge the could of the realm. In order to help them grow, she also created various creatures for them like cattle and birds. It wasn't long before Chaos grew jealous of Law and created his own creations. Using the dark mud of the marshlands and the dark soil of volcanoes, he gave life to the dark souled creatures of Eruaneos including the Orcs. Both watched over their creations and helped them to grow. After some time, the humans began expanding their borders and eventually made their way to the edges of the southern forests that were home to the Orcs. Conflict broke out between the two groups almost immediately. Neither side was ready to give up any of the land they felt entitled to. A long war followed, yet neither side came out victorious. Law and Order agreed on a stalemate.
Centuries passed and many wars were fought between the creations of Law and Chaos. The humans, elves, and dwarves had created an alliance between their nations against the rising threat of the orcs and their dark comrades. With all three great civilizations coming together, many battles were easily won against the minions of chaos. The orcs were driven back to the southern forests where they were created and the other dark creatures were hunted down to near extinction. Accusing Law of giving aid to her creations at a time they were not supposed to intervene, Chaos sought revenge. It took almost an entire century for him to create the ultimate weapon that would change the history of the realm forever. From the fiery depths of the dark mountains of Vorundu, the dragon of death, Grognus the Doombringer rose to the surface on a plume of molten rock. His arrival brought many disasters to the land. Earthquakes toppled buildings thought unshakable, fires cleared ancient forests, and violent storms destroyed anything in their path. With the Grognus leading them, the orcs rebuilt their armies and marched across the land as an unstoppable force. None of Law's creations could stand against their new found might. Fearful that her creations would annihilated, Law finally stepped in to bring an end to things. She created four immensely powerful weapons to be used against the Doombringer: Naraithil the sword of power, Gomduril the shield of courage, Augaling the staff of wisdom, and Dulthalos the spear of truth. Each weapon was given to a mighty warrior of each civilization. The sword was given to the humans, the staff to the elves, the shield to the dwarves, and the spear to the half-elves who had recently made their own civilization on the eastern isles. All four champions came together to unite the weapons and banish Grognus deep under the earth. Without their ultimate weapon, the orcs and their comrades were driven back to their forests to the south and the land was purged of their great evil. Once again the followers of Law held dominion over the land and could have a period of peace. They were allowed to prosper and flourish once again.
The war against the orcs and the banishment of Grognus the Doombringer happened ages ago and the realm has changed since them. No longer do all four races hold equal power . Humans proclaim ownership of most of the land and have expanded their influence over many kingdoms. The elves have lived secluded in their ancient forest for many decades now and the dwarves have almost disappeared inside their massive cities underneath the mountains. The land ruled by humans has been divided into five main kingdoms and several smaller ones. Even though they promised peace between the realm, men are easily corrupted by power and it wasn't long before the rulers of the kingdoms sought to expand their power by lengthening their borders. War was once again brought to the realm by kingdoms butting heads with each other, though none of them were as devastating as the Great War. Throughout time, kingdoms changed shape, size, and name many times. At the moment, everything seems to be at peace once again. Some of the smaller kingdoms have been swallowed up by their bigger neighbors because of treaties or debts. Though certain kingdoms have had their differences and quarrels, none have resorted to war. Tensions have been rising though with the appearances of dark creatures in the kingdoms on the border of the southern forests, so it is only a matter of time before someone does something stupid. Hopefully this time of peace will last longer than predicted and the inhabitants of the realm have nothing to worry about.

Here's a Quick Explanation...
- The Void - the nothingness the realm was said to be created from
Delamir the Creator - all powerful being that willed itself into existence and is responsible for creating the realm
Eruaneos - the name given to the realm by its creator
Law and Chaos - the two forces responsible for all things good and bad in the realm of Eruaneos
The Great War - the war of ancient times between the four races of Law and the dark minions of Chaos
Grognus the Doombringer - an evil dragon created by Chaos and leader of his wicked army
Naraithil - the sword of power given to the humans to stop Grognus
Gomduril - the shield of courage used by the dwarves to defend the realm
Augaling - the staff of wisdom owned by the elves to support their allies
Dulthalos - the spear of truth passed down to the half-elves to save the land
Nentir Kingdom - The southern most kingdom among the five human kingdoms. Its capitol is the walled city of Hammerfast.
Royal Knights - the order of fierce warriors dedicated to protecting the royal family of the Nentir Kingdom
Mages of Saruun - an order of arcane sorcerers living in the underground city of Saruun Khel beneath the Thunderspire. They are called upon by various people to deal with various magic troubles.
Arcane Magic - typically spells devoted to manipulating energy, converting one substance to another, or calling on the services of other creatures.

- Even at a young age, Corran's sense of duty and the desire to protect people were present. Conceived from the marriage of the captain of the royal guard, Markus, and a young elf servant of the castle, Elawien, it was decided fairly early that the child would become a royal knight like his father. Living in the castle with his parents, Corran became good friends with the young prince and could be found right beside the rash boy whenever he would get into trouble.Once he became of age, Corran underwent brutal training from some of the kingdom's fiercest veterans including his father. Though being looked down upon for being a half-elf, the young knight in training proved to all his instructors that he was a force to be reckoned with. One of the few times he was allowed a day off from training, Corran caught his good friend the prince sneaking off with a young elf girl to watch the knights train in the courtyard. He followed them to their secret play spot at the edges of the castle orchard and joined in their pretend fighting, becoming good friend with the elf girl Alliwyn. Corran continued his training with the knights, and would pass down the teachings to his two friends. It was not long before he became one of the most known Royal Knights of the kingdom, always at the prince's side no matter what the occasion. Corran has gotten the prince out of several bad situations and was also responsible for getting his friend Alliwyn a position as the prince's guard as well. His life was devoted to protecting the royal family basically since he was born and he would not trade it for anything else. The royal family will be protected as long as there is still a breath in his lungs.

- Alliwyn was not born of royal blood but in the presence of royals. Her mother, Qwenvelyna, was the head of the maids of the house, teaching the newer servants and personally taking care of the Queen herself. As soon as Alliwyn could walk, she was taught the basics she would need to know. How to properly clean the chamber pots, how to cook the King's favorite meal and how to wash the priceless royal garments of the King, Queen and young Prince. Alliwyn was 8 years old when the Queen announced she was expecting another child. Qwenvelyna was frantic, it had been a few years since a babe was in the castle and Alliwyn's mother knew it was a great responsibility to help take care of the young child. She spent even more time teaching Alliwyn how to scrub the cloth diapers the child would wear. Alliwyn watched in silence, not daring to open her mouth and detest against how much she hated her work. When her mother sent her off on long tasks, Alliwyn would rush herself to finish so she could sneak off before sunset to watch the Royal Guards practice. Alliwyn never had a father and she wanted to be in the presence of men. She wanted to stand by their side and act how they did, be how they were. Every night, before the sun set, Alliwyn would hide and watch in silence. It wasn't until she was caught by the Prince did she take her watching farther. When the Prince had suggest they practice with sticks Alliwyn was only too excited, running off to a secret spot the Prince had found, they'd watch the Knights and copy their moves, pretending to be fighting the wild beasts they only heard about in stories. Not going easy on him, they fought sharp and fierce. And every night the Prince and Alliwyn would come back to the castle with scrapes and bruises, keeping their fights a secret. That was until a young half elf named Corran had followed the Prince to their spot. Making a pact, the three of them became best friends and furthered their practice. When Corran joined the Royal Army, he helped Alliwyn take off her ragged clothes and put on the armor she had always wanted. She had reach the top, right next to Corran, in rank. The Prince taking his rightful place at the throne.

- Xanthiel had always wanted to study to become a sorcerer, as a young child he had heard stories from his mother of the magnificent mage his father was - an elf from a fierce and faraway tribe famed for their great warriors. His mother, a trained healer and seller of magical herbs and trinkets looked after him until he was ten years old and went into the Academy of Magic in Mezaar. This was just the first step to following in his father's footsteps, and hopefully becoming good enough to find him and be recognised as his son. Unions between elves and humans were looked down upon - so Xanthiel took to hiding his lineage. As he ascended through the ranks of apprentice to fully-fledge novice mage, he found in interest in battle magic, as his father had. He specialised in explosives and grand, flamboyant shows of sparks - favouring a largely offensive, berserker type of fighting style. He became the apprentice novice of an extraordinarily talented war mage who taught him everything he knows today. From there, he finished his training, earning his black robe as a fully trained and recognised arcane sorcerer at sixteen years of age. His brilliant and prodigious performance earned him his rank earlier than most who graduated at nineteen. This newfound power and status also came with a new desire to rebel and make mischief. Instead of going on to become the hired sorcerer of a king or lord, he chose instead to take to the streets. Performing dazzling shows and tricks at markets and holding his own shows in his spare time. He preferred to go by the name of 'Azerinth', a bold and eye-catching name to fit his new title. By the end of the year, he had grown bored with such a lifestyle, and decided to begin hiring himself out as a trained mage and eventually came to Nentir, looking for work. During his time in Nentir, he was acquainted with the Mages of Saruun who he contacted through his old master. He found he quite liked life in the underground of Saruun Khel and doing odd jobs for people with various magical troubles.

However, their wedding has been delayed numerous times due to King Taranis’ poor health, a source of much embarrassment for the young Princess. To be eighteen and unmarried, it is simply scandalous..

- Sovay was born of a family of Bounty Hunters. The Murr Family is known through the kingdom in a hush hush basis. If things needed to be taken care of, people to be protected; They were called. From a young age she was taught the best way to track, the quickest way to slit a throat of not only your bounty but your food. She is able to depend on nothing but the clothes on her back and the weapons in her hands. She was brought up to do the job, and do it quicker and better than the rest. Her father taught her up until the age of "womanhood" then her mother took over to teach her tasks she needed to learn to be productive in blending in. A few years of speech learning and manners lessons, the girl was ready to take on her own bounties by herself. Emerged in the art of blending and combat both, Sovay has become a skilled bounty hunter who enjoys what she's known since a child. She can't imagine doing anything else. She's pretty sure she's got a lot of other siblings somewhere, since her parents no longer are with one another, but she can't be sure other than her older brother. The two share the same mother, and the only difference is his male stature, and the fact that he's cold as a rock. Sovay could be dying, and the man would run after the escaped Bounty instead of healing her. Yeah, the jerk is even a healer. But any time the two are near each other all they want to do is rip each others heads off. For about two years now Sovay has been working under law of Corran. Mind you, the knight, not the kingdom of knights itself, to use her skills to round up the escaped criminals. She's not one to follow rules well. Granted Sovay hasn't always been the cleanest of person, but the knight doesn't ask where she came from, and she wont question why she's told to capture a specific someone. Sovay was one of the first few people to know about the whole quest and voyage and what not. The only reason she's helping is because she's going to be paid for her services. She has not connection with the Prince, or the kingdom. Her family didn't even originate from it (thus her blood red eyes, and Silver hair: a family trait) so she could care less what wars and what not happens here. She only happened to travel through a few years ago, and got stuck doing the knights dirty work. Granted, she's not complaining. Why not use the skills that are simple for her to make a nice sum? Kingdom wise, she's able to go to and fro through the palace, just for the fact that she uses her "power" to her advantage. She likes to chat with Nobles, who think she is the sweetest of people, and the poor villagers, who think she's rude and a swindler, but whatever role she plays, she's looking out for herself not anyone else.
