A bit of backstory about me is Japanese exchange student, experienced in Japanese, Latin, English and various insults in other languages just for amusement. Has a 2nd Dan [second degree black belt] in Tae Kwon Do and a 1st Dan [black belt] in Akido. Has a penchant for moving quickly and surprisingly silently and sees the world as one huge playground since he's an experienced parkour messenger, using pretty much everything to get around.
Anything else? Hmm....Has the latent ability to manipulate the energy within his body and directly around him, manifesting as electrical or burning energy.

I typically act happy, she won't admit that she is sad or something's wrong. She will admit that her braces hurt (if they do). She is not very open and only opens up more when she knows who that person is and that they won't hurt her or anything.
A bit of backstory about me is Krista is an only child, and she was always picked on for being short. She still is, sometimes, but when she gets bullied or teased about it, she tries not to use her powers until whoever said that leaves-or they really deserve it, whatever comes first. She took karate growing up and has just earned her black belt.
Anything else? Hmm....she has the special ability to make herself grow and shrink at her will. Well, she doesn't want to shrink but she will.

Táibào Tsukino groaned, feeling a bit disoriented as he awoke. He didn't have that many friends as he was a recent foreign exchange student. Krista Daron was one of the few friends he had. He was cautious as people seemed unaware he was there, and he didn't see Krista anywhere. He did, however, hear sirens nearby. He exhaled softly before he pushed off in a fluid movement and clambered up the brick wall quickly, his tan tee shirt and black vest blending in fairly well. He blinked a few times a story and a half up, crouching on a ledge as he saw some people in what he thought were alien suits. 'Looks like people on the set of SPD... which was a year or two ago, though Krista seems to like the reruns,' he thought. He blinked as a Jeep with SPD on the side drove up before a pair scrambled out of the Jeep.

Krista was just waking up as she heard police sirens. Far away, but...still police sirens. "My dream is still going?" the teen mumbled. She had been dreaming about Power Rangers SPD. It's just so-wait. Krista looked and saw a jeep. With SPD on it. She closed her eyes, pinched herself, and opened her eyes. Still there...'IT'S STILL THERE?' the girl got dressed and saw a pair of people come out of the jeep. "I'm not dreaming? This is great!" Krista said, mentally fangirling. She wanted to take a picture. 'It's not like it'll ever happen again, will it?' she thought, going closer to take a picture.

Táibào Tsukino cocked his head as a silver suited man with a large head ran around the corner as he saw the bikes pull up with three males on it, one with dreadlocks, one with short brown hair, one with black hair. He frowned slightly as they looked around before the brunette guy in blue and the brunette girl in yellow darted towards the bank, which he only now noticed was smoking in places. 'Bank robbery? If I remember right, one of the early episodes had a bank robbery in it... not one, but a few,' he thought. before he blinked as the alien sliced through the roof and supports of a car. He smirked, recognizing a very subtle 'X-Men: Animated Series' reference before he blinked as the quintet held up something before his eyes widened as in flares of colored light, their outfits changed completely. He noticed someone sneaking closer to the Jeep before he blinked several times, his jaw dropping. "Okay... this is really strange, but... I can't really say I haven't run into odd things before... like Krista sneaking up to a Jeep that looks... a bit too official," he mumbled as he crept quickly and quietly before pushing off, twisting as he did before he heard grunts and yells as he saw all five Rangers down and the alien a lot closer to them. He felt an odd sensation, though the only way he could describe it was like warm water surging up from his abdomen and tingling down his arms, unaware that swirling arcs of pale blue fire were swirling around his forearms, hands, and fingers. He saw the green ranger rise, the odd spandex suit gone, before he swiped a hand in the air, a soft green aura flickering from it. He grunted slightly as he felt the odd sensation rising more strongly. "Krista... back away slowly from me.... something... is happening," he muttered as he touched her sleeve, unaware it left his fingers imprinted and steaming on her clothing. He winced as he stumbled a few feet before he dropped to one knee, his fingers touching the asphalt a few feet into the street.

Almost immediately, however, the asphalt exploded upward, shoving him onto his back as the aura faded away. He winced as he landed on the sidewalk right on the back of his head next to Krista, though he popped his hips almost immediately and rose back to his feet before he blinked, seeing a brunette woman slipping into the crowd. 'Okay... what just happened?' he thought with confusion, a bit dizzy from the rough landing. He didn't see the other rangers demorph and start approaching them, nor did he immediately see the foot and a half deep, foot wide crater a few feet from him.

Krista saw who the people who got out of the jeep was and she nearly fainted. She noticed that there was some blown-up bank nearby. 'A few SPD episodes have bank robberies. The first one I remember clearly is Episode 6, Abridged...' she thought to herself. She came out of her thoughts as Táibào showed up from who knows where, saying to back away. She took this warning as he let go of her sleeve. "Tai? What's going on...?" she backed up and...some huge explosion thing happened. Or something. Krista saw her friend's head show up near her a few seconds later. "Tai! You okay? What happened?" she hoped he was okay. She hadn't gotten a picture before the explosion. Power Rangers is full of random explosions, by the way. Only that's just s TV show, set in 2025. Krista didn't notice the others demorph, she was too busy focused on her friend.

Táibào Tsukino blinked a few times, confused. He grimaced a bit as he sat up slowly. "Good question. Got a bit of a headache, but.... other than that, I'm wondering where the heck we are," he said quietly to Krista. He jumped slightly as the brunette in yellow touched his shoulder with a concerned look. "Maybe we should get them back to base. Where do you think their families are?" the blond in pink said thoughtfully. "I'm Liz. Do you mind coming with us?" she said to the young man, who was staring at her with a startled look. "I think that might... be best," he said quietly, wincing as he stood slowly, though he nearly collapsed almost immediately.

Krista was glad Tai said he was okay. 'Base? SPD Base? Keep calm, Krista,' she told herself. She heard a familiar-looking blonde say something about families. The teenage girl blinked when the brunette girl in yellow said her name was Liz. 'They all look familiar...' Krista thought to herself, not clicking that THEY were SPD. She hadn't seen reruns recently and YouTube exists but in 2006-07 not many Power Rangers episodes are on there. The girl in yellow asked if they would come with them. Krista nodded in reply. "Yeah," she agreed. Tai nearly collapsed and Krista had to stop herself from growing taller. If these people saw her do that...well, who knows what would happen?

Assuming Krista and Táibào are from 2006-07 because there are apparently SPD reruns on their TVs. Also, Netflix didn't exist back then so she can't watch SPD anytime.

Táibào Tsukino frowned a little as he forced himself upright. "When emerald boy waved his hand, I noticed someone slipping into the witnesses by the... bank? I think that's what that is," he said quietly to Krista. He wasn't sure who it was and the headache he was getting wasn't helping. "I'm Sydney" the blond in pink said cheerfully with a small smile as she helped Táibào with Krista on the other side. "Apparently, there's a fairly good sized hole in the vault wall," she said to Jack. "If it was done with angular cuts, it'd probably be a blade of some kind. Though there are a lot of things that can cut, given the opportunity.... water, fire, electricity, wind... given a particular focus and form, any of them can cut," he said quietly, coughing a few times from the settling dust.
ØØÇ I'm thinking they're from mid 2007, a few months after the SPD season ended.

Krista nodded to Tai as he said that he had seen someone. Weird... Krista thought to herself. The other girl-in pink-introduced herself as Sydney. 'Why does she look so familiar?' Krista couldn't remember where she had seen Sydney before, but she had seen her in some dream. When someone is in your dream, you have seen them somehow in reality. After listening to some talk of anything-could-do-that, Krista remembered that they should go...to the...SPD Base...(well, the jeep says SPD and they said something about a base, so let's hope so) and she looked up at Tai to see that he was okay. "Should we get going?" 'because you're really hard to support,' Krista asked the others, thinking that part in italics to herself.

Táibào Tsukino exhaled softly as they walked towards the Jeep. He blinked as 'Liz' opened the rear door before looking their way. "Is it just me, or does this seem really... weird? If this is a prank, they went all out," he whispered to Krista before he managed, with 'Sydney's' help, to get into the Jeep. " You buckled in?" 'Liz' said. He looked around and noticed that there was a five point harness with a quick release trigger in the center. He noticed it was almost like the harness NASCAR drivers employed. "One question... are these standard issue... or special to these particular vehicles?" he said carefully. The smirk 'Liz' flashed in the rear-view mirror didn't do much to settle his caution as he much preferred running.
ØØÇ I'm not even going to comment on that, lol. I'm stuck with a three month old niece.... 'nuff said.
