xxxxKiko quickly sized up the situation, taking in account how many men they had and the possible force they could create. She wasn't sure how well these men could fight but she did know the strength of her people. Even if they had no talent whatsoever with a sword, they would most certainly not back down. Her gaze went back to the wall of fire surrounding them just as a small gap appeared. There on the other side stood the same man she had faced before, a platoon of his own marching behind him. She quickly gathered there were more of them than there were of their own forces. This did little to damped her spirit. She would not lose here.

xxxxJust as the enemy was about to cross the threshold into their camp, Kiko stepped forward. The flames around her sword went hotter, the sizzling sound it made familiar to that of a shriek. With one tremendous swing, large jets of fire shot out at the approaching forces, leaving large rivets in the earth in it's wake as it sped across the plane. At the last second she saw the traitor vanish, but the attack made contact with the first line of soldiers approaching. They fell, but the warriors behind them didn't stop. They merely walked over their fallen comrades as if nothing had happened, and continued their assault. She didn't let herself feel any regret. Her eyes were searching desperately for the traitor. He was the one they had to worry about.

xxxxAs if he could sense her thoughts, the man appeared a few feet in front of them, and for the first time Kiko finally saw his face. His eyes were the same solid black she had seen in Kesiom the few times he had lost control, and there was a large scar plastered on the side of his face. His grin was wide and malicious as ever, and his eyes were locked on Kiko. "We meet again, Princess." he cooed. Kiko's grip on her sword went tighter. The man's eyes darted around her momentarily, quickly taking in their own forces. His gaze stopped on Aleks, obviously remembering him from before. And then it fell on his father. He made a soft ticking noise with his tongue, like a mother scolding a child, "You're still alive? I thought we wiped you out already." before he even finished speaking he vanished in a puff of black smoke. His energy reappeared behind Aleks' father, and before Kiko could begin an attack, he had shoved a dagger into the man's back, aiming right for his spine.

xxxxKeiko knew, in the back of her mind, she did not have the offensive power the others had in fighting. But she could not, would not, stand back and let Kesiom fight Hikara and let this woman who claimed to be his mother watch on in delight. To her dark surprise the fire she conjured was easily deflected, her hands quickly caught behind her back as the Queen appeared there. The dark energy binding her wrists caused her skin to sizzle underneath it; darkness was her exact opposite. She braced herself as the woman prepared to strike her in the back, but was released much to her surprise.

xxxxShe rose herself to her knees, staring up at Kesiom standing there between her and his mother. While he was still in his ferocious state, he had a moment of clearity long enough to step between them. It gave her hope, and she rose to her feet, "You can not force him to become your slave." she proclaimed. There wasn't a trace of fear in her as she came to stand beside Kesiom, resting a hand on his shoulder. The same hand he had placed the ring on not an hour ago. "You think his heart is a weakness but you're wrong. It's his strength and it's what's going to beat you." the hand at Kesiom's shoulder began to glow, similar to Hikara's a few moments ago. She pushed her energy into Kesiom's unstable form, watching as the light dispersed and coiled around his shoulder, his arm, across his chest and all around him. "Kesiom. Don't let her decide for you. Your heart is still there, I can feel it. You are stronger than her and you know it." her tone was loud and steady enough for Kesiom to hear, but quiet enough that it was meant for his ears only.

Aleks could only watch with a disgusted look on his face as the traitor finally made himself present, but as the army behind appeared, the man could only take a deep breath. Yeah, it was going to be a long battle, but one they would win, he would help make sure of that. Kiko launched her first attack, and while it missed the traitor, it managed to take down the first line, not that it mattered much as the second line quickly took over the spot without hesitation. As the traitor suddenly reappeared in front of him, Aleks felt his hand instinctively reach up and unsheathe the Nigotsoru. Little to late did he notice where the man's attention fell last, and before he had time to react, he only turned around in time to see the man with a dagger through his father's back. While it was obvious that Aleks' and Yori didn't pull their speed from their a**, his father was not as fast as he was when he was their age, and while the dagger didn't make exactly its mark, it was only inches away and was definitely fatal in its own manner.

Aleks felt his hand start trembling as his body moved without his mind being able to catch up. "You...you b*****d!" he yelled, and in the moment was next to the traitor, bringing the sword of his staff down on the other. When the traitor managed to avoid his attack and disappeared, Aleks let his weapon go, catching his father's body as it fell backwards. Kneeling down with him, he felt the tears brimming in his eyes. No matter how good someone was at healing right now, not even Aphrodite could heal his wound. A streak of blood ran down the man's face as he coughed, but in the same manner as Aleks would, the man just smiled at him. "Take....care of...them.....I love...you.......Aleks..." he managed to sputter out before the last breath fell from his body, Aleks feeling his very life force snuffing out like the last part of the wick on a candle.

By this time his entire body was trembling. His heart wanted to cry, it wanted the tears in his eyes to fall, but his physical self, his mind, was enraged. Gently laying his father's body down on the ground, Aleks stood up, his fists clenched as he grabbed for his weapon. Turning, his eyes were a complete golden white, and his body seemed like the energy could erupt from it at any moment. "I will kill every one of you..." he said in a low voice that was completely different from him normally. His normally bright, optemistic side was completely gone, and in the next moment he had disappeared. The only thing that showed his movement was the light that was trailing behind him as he began attacking, his speed that of one transporting. Aleks flew through the enemy forces, his weapon coming around him at blazing speeds as he lashed out towards any enemy he could come within' reach of. The traitor was next.

xxxxThe clone attacking Sno dodged the slice of her sword easy enough, but the shard of ice that followed ripped at her skin. But the woman didn't show any sign of pain, and no blood came from the fresh wounds. She was obviously a clone, and had no sense of pain or hesitance. She quickly took in the sight of her new wounds and looked back to Sno with a smile on her face, as if they had just shared a joke. She cracked her whip again, black spikes suddenly appearing along it's length.

xxxxThe original smiled at seeing Toketsu's ice clones take form, spreading in the directions of his comrades. "Ah, so the tyke knows some magic too?" While such magic should have struck worry in normal opponents, this woman seemed to take pleasure in it. Boring fights were no fun, at least these three would make things interesting. A wall of dark energy sprung up in front of her just as one of the boy's ice minions charged, stopping it in it's tracks.

xxxxJirou was doing his best to fend off his own clone, but the blow to his stomach caused his moves to be sluggish and he could only defend. He could have shot off an attack of his own if he could just put a bit of space between the two of them, but she was advancing every time he stepped back. And then ice figures surrounded them, taking the woman's attention off of him as they attacked. She gave a grunt of frustration as they pounced, one managing to strike her in the heart. Her form went black as shadows erupted from the clone, leaving only a small trail of smoke where she had once been. One down, two to go.

xxxxThe clone standing above Toketsu darted her eyes between his own magic, not seeming to be bothered that she was suddenly out numbered. With a quick crack of her whip and a spin much like a ballet move, it crashed into the ice form and shattered it to pieces. She stared down at Toektsu then, her grin turning into a devilish smirk, "You should have stayed in your own time, boy." she taunted, raising her whip to show it too had sprung sharp, long spikes along the entire weapon. There was a deafening crack as she swung it at the boy.

xxxxJirou, having managed to ward off his own attacker, watched as the one near his son advanced. His chest went tight as dread crashed into him like a tidal wave, and like a horse with blinders on, it was all he could see as he charged. Just as the spiked whip came down to strike, he threw himself in front of the attack, leaning over the boy to shield him. There was no time to parry or dodge, he merely shoved his body between the whip and his son. The spikes tore into the flesh of his back, blood spurting in a horrid wave of crimson as he screamed. His face went pale and fell to his knees, wobbling there a moment until he finally fell to the ground in a heap.

Kesiom felt his darkness threatening his mind as he stood there, telling him he needed attack the woman he just protected, to protect his mother instead. His mind was slowly withering away, but then he heard Keiko speak up, her hand on his shoulder, her light flowing through his body to help him combat the darkness. The queen just looked on with disgust, and before she had a chance to say anything, Hikara had walked up on Kesiom's left side, taking up the same action as her mother. Kesiom just closed his eyes for a moment as he felt the light of the two women running through his body, his own mind growing ever stronger.

Just as the queen was about to get frustrated and attack, Kesiom's eyes opened as she gasped. He had suppressed it already? That power she forced into him was an incredible one she had spent years gathering, and with the help of the two pathetic senshi he had already pushed it down? Kesiom felt the darkness finally get pushed down, and in one last move with his mind locked it away. As his eyes opened once more, they were the vibrant blue they normally were, not a trace of shadow left in them. "You best listen to my fiance, she knows what she's talking about," he said with a smirk as he darted forward from under the ladies grasp. Summoning his claymore once more, he managed to pull on the light the two had infused his mind with, a single strand of white circling down his weapon as he brought it down on the the figure in front of him. As it hit, there was a scream, but Kesiom quickly recognized it as not his mother's, but her closest advisor as the image of his mother fell away to reveal the other other woman. In the next moment, she disappeared into shadow, and Kesiom let his sword vanish from his hand.

The man didn't know what to say...he had once again been lost in the worst darkness of his mind yet, and yet again, Keiko, who he had tried attacking stood by him with unwavering love. Even his daughter, the one he had tried choking, had done the same, and in result they had torn his mind free. Turning to look at them, his transformation was still on, but the shadows had come under control, so he simply stood there clad in the black and white prince outfit, his eyes filled with pain. "I...am sorry. I don't know how you two could forgive me after something like this..." he spoke quietly.

Hikara watched the figure of the other women disappear, and as Kesiom turned around, a small frown played on the girl's face as she watched the pain in his eyes. Looking at Keiko for a second, the teenager just smiled big before running full speed at Kesiom and throwing herself at him in a massive hug. The man simply caught her, his pained expression lightening a little as she spoke. "What is there to forgive silly? If I must, I guess I could forgive you for being the best dad ever!" she said with a goofy grin. Kesiom tried a smile for the girl, but then looked back up to Keiko, to his fiance. For some reason he felt scared of what she might say, what she might do, but at the same time, he wasn't sure why thoughts like that were coming to his mind.

xxxxThe heartless look on the mans face as his dagger sunk into flesh was something Kiko didn't think she'd ever forget. It caused her blood to boil, her mind go blank. Just as Aleks came to attack he vanished again like the coward he was, leaving the man to clutch his father as he took his last breath. No...no this wasn't supposed to happen. No one was supposed to die here. Not for her. She couldn't stand the idea of blood being spilled on her behalf...

xxxxThe energy Aleks was gathering was enough to rattle the entire compound but Kiko found herself not surprised. She knew the man had a raw power in him, and now that he was pissed, there was no holding back. He launched forward into the approaching men, taking out whoever was dumb enough to not get out of his way. She turned her gaze back on the man's father, lying there on the ground. Had they not been in the middle of a battle, he would have looked quite peaceful...but Kiko knew better. Again, hatred creeped into her blood, coursing through her veins. She wasn't even aware of the fire that had erupted at her feet until she noticed the men that had approached to take their fallen leader away cower just a bit. She felt herself losing control but couldn't bother to care. Her fists clenched around her sword, her eyes shut tight and she let out a loud scream. The fire encircling her erupted in fury and when it fell, her fuku had changed. It was entirely red, streaks of orange at the tips of her skirt and the broach at her chest was solid, almost glowing white. When her eyes opened again they were completely red, her pupils lost. She turned to the men of their battalion who stared at her as if seeing a ghost. "Stay back. We will finish this." it was her voice alright, but it sounded as if another, darker voice was speaking with her.

xxxxHer gaze went back to Aleks then who was still enraged, having practically wiped out the entire charging force. She raised her sword up behind her just as the traitor reappeared there, instantly blocking his attack. He stumbled back, and for the first time looked worried. She turned to face him, an eerie calm about her. She threw her sword into the ground, the blade quickly sticking into the rough earth, causing it to quake. A crack sprung from the ground, racing to their enemy. He tried to sidestep but the shaking ground stumbled him and his foot fell into the growing crack. He tried to pull himself free but could not find purchase. Kiko was on him in the next second, her hand quickly latching around his throat, "I should kill you for how you've betrayed us." she hissed, her fingers gripping tighter. The man sputtered out something she couldn't decipher, "But I will show you mercy." There was a faint smile on the traitors face, as if he had accomplished something. She shook him hard and it was quickly wiped off, "He, on the other hand, will not." her free arm raised to point at Aleks who had finished off the last of the man's forces, making his way back over to them. Dread washed over the traitors face. He reached his hands up to pry Kiko's off of him but her skin suddenly went hot, burning him in the process.

xxxxKeiko could feel pride swell in her as Hikara came up to join her cause, her own energy surging through the tormented Kesiom in a last stitch attempt to bring him back to sanity. She could feel the fierce energy underneath her palm, swirling and fighting like two feral cats. And then, her heart stopped. He spoke...Kesiom, the real Kesiom, spoke. He charged forward with force and struck out at his mother. At the last moment her appearance fell into that of another woman, one Keiko didn't recognize, and then disappeared. Of course she wouldn't have come her herself, she wasn't that stupid. Better let someone else take the strike for you, she thought bitterly.

xxxxHer thoughts quickly took a turn as Kesiom turned back toward them. Her Kesiom. The man she had fallen in love with was standing there, apologizing for what he had done. Even as Hikara came up to him to wrap him in a hug, Keiko could only stare. It was hard to read her emotions for the first few seconds, her face was blank. And then her eyes went glassy as tears began free falling from her eyes. Her bottom lip began to tremble and she stepped forward toward him. She quickly wrapped her arms around his neck, bringing the man close to her as she buried her face into his shoulder, "I thought I'd lost you." she murmured quietly through tears, as if she spoke any louder he'd leave again.

Sno grimaced as the attacks made their hit but barely had any effect on her opponent. Just as she began trying to think of something else, the two ice figures that Toketsu had sent her way intervened on the woman and her now barbed whip. As she figured out something, she suddenly heard fast running behind her, and as she turned, her heart almost stopped beating as she heard Jirou's scream. She felt her breath lock up in her lungs, her face locked in a state of shock for a good five seconds before she reacted, running over next to the fallen man. Skidding to her knees, she placed her hand gently on the side of Jirou's, panic running through her head. "No...no no no! Hang on, please hang out..." she pleaded, feeling the man's energy barely holding on.

Toketsu watched the whip come forward, and before he had a chance to move, to react, to even think, it was nearing him only to be stopped. Opening his eyes, he gasped as he watched his father fall. This...couldn't be happening. This was exactly what he had come back to stop. His father wasn't suppose to go now, not ever, not until he grew into old age with his mother. As the man fell to his knees, Toketsu flung himself forward and stopped him from impacting the ground, resting his father's head against his knees. As Sno came over, he couldn't stop the tears falling from falling hot and heavy as she spoke with the same sorrow he was so use to hearing from her in the future. Just as he went to say something though, looking up through bleary eyes, he saw something change in his mother...she had come completely still, her eyes closed.

Sno felt the anger at this wretched woman, the deep love she had for Jirou, the sorrow that had pushed it's way in behind her eyes...they all seemed to mix inside of her, and in the seconds following, she felt something open inside of her like a dam. Power seemingly ran through her like an angry river, and as she opened her eyes once more, they were covered in a stark dark blue color. As she stood up, ice rose up from the ground around her, creeping up her legs and covering her entire body eventually. Only a second later, the ice suddenly shattered and sprayed in the direction of her enemy and her remaining clones, taking out the one nearest her. Her outfit, while normally white striped with blue, had now become ringed with a dark royal blue color, and the shapes of icicles ringed the edges of every seam of the outfit. Even the ribbons that hung off the back of her skirt had turned into a movable ice. Picking up her blade once more, spikes of ice suddenly erupted from it as she stepped a few feet in front of the other two and swiftly swung her blade in the air in front of her. A wall of ice appeared, and with one more deft movement, she struck the ground in front of her. The wall of ice shattered into millions of small, needle shaped shards, and as they went flying towards her enemy, the ground erupted with ice protruding violently from the ground everywhere within a 400 foot radius of the woman and growing to stand 50 feet tall.

[[ Don't be sad, be happy! Sno will kick her ever living ******** a**, then perhaps we have the other group that just finished up find them? =D Then Hikara can bring back from his near death state and it won't be so sad no more. ]]

Aleksander was letting his body move without thought. Kill was the only thing coursing through his mind, and he was doing it pretty damn efficiently. As he ran through the dark figures, each of them disappeared by his blade and it only fueled his adrenaline towards killing the next enemy. Soon, there was no one left for him to kill, until he looked over and saw what Kiko had managed to capture for him. He heard the words coming from her mouth. Aleks was born from the element of love, and compassion was a key part of that very element. Though, right now, one of the people he loved and held closest to his heart had been killed by this...monster, and there was no amount of his element that coursed through his body that could force compassion into Aleks for this murderer.

Walking forward, he stopped in sight of the man. "You are nothing but a coward, and a cowardly, murderous traitor like yourself deserves anything but mercy," he growled out just as his weapon flew out and struck through the man's chest where his heart would be, granted he had one. Aleks watched as he died, as he disappeared into the shadowy darkness that had consumed him the moment he went traitor, and just as it was finished, Aleks felt the rest of the emotions his anger had subdued catch up with him. Quickly, his energy died down as he fell to his knees, his weapon clanging on the ground as he bent forward. The tears that had burned behind his eyes before, the ones that so desperately wanted out now found a path as the man silently cried. His body did not shake, his voice did not come forth; tears just simply fell down his face as he stared blankly at the ground in front of him.

Aphrodite had felt everything that had happened, letting the force field down on the tent once she felt no more traces of the evil energy. Emerging from the tent, she turned to tell Yori to stay put; he didn't need to see his grandfather's lifeless body. Walking over, the woman knelled down next the man's body, a look of sorrow on her face as she brushed his eyelids closed. "I hope you find happiness Artemis..." she whispered, using the man's name delicately. Looking up, she looked at Aleks as she felt his spirit dying inside of him, but there was nothing Aphrodite could do to heal one's spirit. At least, nothing she could do to heal that particular man's spirit, but with a glance to Kiko, she knew there certainly was someone else present who could at least try.

Hikara stepped back as her mother went in for a hug, a newfound happiness spreading through her at the sight. They had won him back, and it was something that Hikara had always dreamed of doing in her time.

Kesiom only felt a wave of guilt flow through him as Keiko came into his embrace, the tears staining the shoulder of his outfit as she murmured out her words. The man simply brought one hand up and placed it behind her head, lightly kissing the top of it before holding her in close to him. "Without you, I would have been lost. It was your light, your unwavering love that helped me break through..." he said, pulling her back slightly to look her in the eye. "You and your light is what has saved me time and time again, and I can't even express how grateful I am for having you in my life. I love you so much Keiko," he said gently, then pulled his face down to hers and locked his lips against hers. The purest emotions he had ever felt raged through him, the happiness, the joy, the very love he felt for the woman rampaging through his body as he pressed his lips into hers.

Hikara almost felt bad watching and in result turned her body to face away from them. Looking around at the ground for a minute or so, she looked back and couldn't help but let a sigh out. "While it's neato have you back dad and it's awesome that you guys love each other so much and all, I'm feeling the need to gag, plus we should probably move forward..." she said, cracking a half grin.

xxxxThe woman watched with delight as Jirou forced himself between her attack and the boy. She could feel his flesh tear under the sharp spikes. So, maybe it wasn't the one she had been aiming for originally, but it would do. The other two rushed to his side, trying desperately to keep him awake and aware. And then a giant surge of energy began forming in the woman. For the first time since their fight began, she showed a sign of worry. It was hard not to notice the sudden swell in energy gathering in the senshi who was now, without a doubt, pissed beyond reason.

xxxxShe tried to dodge the coming attack but with the ice forming around her, there was no escape. She couldn't even attempt a transport, there was not enough time. The shards came whizzing in every direction, literally cutting the woman to shreds. She shrieked, her whip dropping from her fingers as her form dissipated in shadow. They had won. But at what cost?

xxxxJirou could feel nothing. His breaths were short and ragged, his face pale as a sheet. The edges of his vision began to go hazy but he could still see the faint outline of Toketsu leaning over him. He was saying something, Jirou couldn't hear. All he heard was a white noise ringing through his ears. Blood was quickly soaking the ground beneath him, and with a disgusting cough, blood surged into his mouth, falling from the corners down his face. He could feel himself slipping.

Toketsu couldn't help but try desperately to keep his father with him. Burshing his hands one the sides of the mans face, he tried talking to him, but his words were more rambling and broken because of the tears. One sentence did come out loud and clear though. "You can't leave me dad, you can't, I just found you...don't leave me, please don't, I need you..." the boy said in an audible rambling of words.

Sno watched with a grim satisfaction as her attack found its mark, but her attention quickly fell back to her fallen loved one as her power died down to the point that her eyes reverted to their normal color but her fuku stayed the way it was. Coming back over, Sno knelled down next to Jirou, having to suppress the feelings of insanity as her knees splashed in the man's blood. Bringing her hand up as he coughed, she frantically tried wiping the blood away, her voice completely frantic and sporadic as she spoke. "Please, just...just a little longer. We'll meet up, we'll meet up with the others. Keiko...Hikara...they can heal you. Just please, don't let go...stay with me, please...please..." she managed out, her hands holding the sides of his head as hovered her face inches from his, her tears splattering against his blood stained cheeks.

xxxxThe entire time the battle raged on outside, Yori was practically flipping a s**t in the tent. At first, he had tried breaking through the barrier Aphrodite had created, but of course could not. Well, maybe he could have if he used enough energy, but it would also result in setting the whole place on fire. Eventually he sat down on the bed he had woken up on, arms crossed over his chest in a very familiar Kiko-esque pout. But then he could feel a swarm of energy rise up outside. It felt familiar, like his father's. And then...his mother's? What was going on? They were in trouble they had to be! Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Aphrodite let the shield down and ventured outside, the battle obviously over. He didn't listen to the woman's heed and sprang out of the tent. His eyes immediately fell on his mother, still shrouded in immense power. He briefly wondered if that was indeed Kiko, but the sword burning brightly in her hands was proof enough. What had happened? His eyes trailed to Aleks, knelling there on the ground, and then finally he saw it. His grandfather, lifelessly laying there not far off.

xxxxKiko merely held the man in place as Aleks took his revenge. She knew the man was normally a kind person, much like her own sister, but this situation did not deserve his sympathy. The traitor wailed as the blade struck through his chest, and soon Kiko was holding on to nothing as he vanished for good. Her solid red eyes watched as Aleks lost his valor then, falling to his knees in silent tears. In her current state, all she could feel was power and anger. She watched him with minute curiosity, as if she didn't understand why he still felt that way even after they conquered the man who hurt his father. She let her eyes trail toward Aphrodite who had began speaking, gently closing the eyes of their fallen comrade. Yori stood behind her, staring at his grandfather with wide eyes. And then he was staring at her, and she could have sword there was a trace of fear in his eyes. Was he afraid of her?

xxxxThe thought struck hard in her brain. The immense power coursing through her began to dwindle, her soul releasing it's grip on it as she slowly changed back to her normal fuku. The pupils in her eyes returned and she brought a hand to her head, a sudden headache ripping through her brain. And then she remembered. Aleks. She placed a hand on the man's back as she gently dropped to her knees beside him. She understood now why he felt this way, and knew there wasn't much she could do to help him other than be there. She rested her head against his shoulder as she fought back tears of her own.

As Aleks just stared at the ground, he eventually felt Kiko's power die down, and she joined him in her place knelling next to him, and feeling her head on his shoulder did not register in his mind for some reason. The normal feelings he had for Kiko, the warmth she always inspired in him...gone. In what seemed to be an apparent attempt to, I don't know, cheer the man up, one the soldiers of the squadron walked up, bowing in front of the two. "We are sorry for your loss prince, he was a great man and-" "Shut up." Aleks cut the man off, his words icy cold. An unfamiliar chill had swept over Aleks, an unbearably heavy weight pulling on his heart, on his energy that kept him sane. He didn't want to hear anything else, he didn't care anymore. His father, the man who valiantly had fought for this planet, killed in a second in cold blood, in front of his own eyes. He had held him as his last breath came from his body, feeling his very life force die. Aleks couldn't feel anymore, his heart seemingly icing over and his will dying under the ice.

Aphrodite watched with pained eyes at the sight, motioning for two of the men standing nearby to bring the body inside one of the tents. As they did so, the woman walked closer to the two, listening to their hearts. Even though everyone only heard his two words, Aphrodite heard everything else, and she bit her lip at the thought of the man giving up. It wasn't Aleks to do something like that, ever...then the woman remembered Yori, turning to look at the young boy. Speaking so that he could only hear, her voice was layered with sadness. "Your father's spirit has broken..." she whispered. Kiko was too distraught herself to provide much in the way of anything uplifting, so Aphrodite turned to the next person, the only other person that had a shot. While she knew Aleks held Aphrodite close to his heart, the woman next to him and the child he shared with her were the two people he held the absolute closest.

xxxxKeiko had heard of moments like this. A brief space in time where there was utter silence and absolute peace. She had always thought it would come when nearing that metaphorical white light at the end of the tunnel. But feeling Kesiom's lips against hers, it happened. All the fear she had at first seeing him so lost vanished and left her out of breath. The only thing that seemed to snap her out of her trance was Hikara's voice, somewhere fuzzy in the back of her mind. A mild brush spread across her cheeks at realizing how public a moment that had been, but it was only their future daughter after all.

xxxxThe interruption did bring her wits back about her though, knowing there was still a problem they faced. They had been separated, and Keiko had been unable to trace any of the party they came with. And with the Queen still presumably about somewhere, they were not out of the woods yet. She took a small step away from Kesiom merely to survey their surroundings again. Her eyes immediately caught sight of large blue pillars not far off in the distance. It clicked in her mind and she breathed out, "Sno." She was the only woman she could think of that could produce such massive ice pillars even in Mars' hot atmosphere. She glanced back at Hikara and Kesiom before immediately speeding off in that direction. The idea of transporting came to her mind, but they were in unfamiliar territory and a little drained. Not to mention their location didn't appeared to far off...

xxxxIt took a few minutes to finally approach the scene, but once there Keiko felt as if she had stepped into a nightmare. A battle had obviously gone down here, a pretty ferocious one at that, and in it's center she could see Sno and the others. She quickly ran toward them, but as she got closer she couldn't help but falter just a bit. Jirou was there on the ground in a pool of his own blood, the other two desperately trying to keep him alert. "Oh my god-..." her voice quivered as she came closer, close enough to kneel beside Sno. She tried to ignore the wetness there at her knees; the man's blood. He was sputtering, gasping, but being a healer Keiko could feel the energy in him fade. Her brain went haywire, a thousand ideas racing around as to what to do. She glanced over her shoulder at Hikara, wishing she didn't have to ask the girl to witness such a sight but she needed her help, "We don't have much time. Come on." she turned back to Jirou then, leaning over to look him in the eyes, "Hey, Jirou just pay attention ok? We're gonna help, we've got you." she wasn't sure why she was talking to him, or if it was more for him or herself. But she quickly raised her hands to the mans stomach, lightly pressing as a light began to glow beneath her palms. She could feel the dark energy that had struck his stomach, but the biggest concern were the deep lacerations on his back. It had nicked the spine and a major vein...Her heart began to beat a mile a minute, glancing up at Hikara. She wasn't sure what she could do for him now, but didn't have the heart to say it out loud.
