Aleks almost felt bad as his attack made contact, but it quickly fell away as his thought from early proved true, the boy acting like it never happened as he charged to attack once more. Sticking his tongue out at Kiko, he turned but realized only too late that Yori had picked up his speed as he felt his weapon fly out of his hand. Turning quickly, he avoided the hilt and making sure not to touch the weapon in the boys hands, grabbed his wrists and threw him off to the side. It wasn't strong enough to throw him a far distance, but it would cause him to have to recover none the less. Taking the moment, Aleks did a flip into the air, catching his weapon before landing on the ground. "I might be shoving my own foot in my mouth by the time we're done, that was good," he said, the pride dripping from his voice. He was doing a great job, and apparently his future self hadn't been completely occupied with fighting, being able to give enough time to properly train the boy.

xxxxFeeling the boy practically collapse in his arms, it was all Jirou could do to hold him up. He placed his long arms around his shaking shoulders, holding him securely. He still didn't speak, knowing nothing he could say then would be of importance. This boy had obviously been born in chaos, had been through more than a boy should, so allowing him this moment of actually seeing his father, despite the fact he technically wasn't his father yet, was the least he could do. He could feel his chest tighten as the boy shook in his arms, a familiar sensation he got when seeing Sno in such pain, but fended it off for the time being. He would be the support this boy apparently desperately needed.

xxxxKeiko noted Sno's look, convinced she was mirroring something like it as well. She felt as if she were intruding on something very personal as she watched Jirou and Toketsu embrace. In typical Jirou fashion, he stood absolute, like support in a storm, while the boy let go. After quite a long moment, Keiko made sure the tears had died down just a bit before speaking up, "He appeared out of the sky, practically dead." her voice was quiet but serious. "Hikara managed to patch him up but...apparently Kiko had killed you." She glanced up at Sno at this, her eyes serious and distressed. It pained her to even say it, to have her sister's name on her tongue with death.

xxxxYori half expected his attack to hit, so when Aleks dodged and grabbed at his wrists he let out a surprised yelp as he felt himself tossed out of the way. He recovered quickly, digging his toes into the dirt to keep him from falling back any further. He hadn't been tossed that hard, but the closer he stayed to battle the better position he was in to attack. He watched his younger father, grip on his sword tightening just a bit as he smiled. He was proud of him! Even in this time, his father was proud of him. With a new found confidence, he charged again. It looked as if he were going to run straight in to Aleks, but at the last moment he swerved, ducking to the man's exposed side. He swung his sword with a heavy grunt, only to stop just centimeters before it would have made contact with his middle.

xxxxBoth Aleks and Yori appeared to be enjoying themselves beyond belief, and it was enough to get Kiko smiling at the two. Aleks was very good with his own weapon, his speed something to be rivaled, and it was obvious Yori had been trained by him in his own time, considering he was probably the only other person alive who could get a hit on the man. As the boy seemed to gain the upper hand, she was shocked and prideful to see the control he already had over the Pyrotiem. She hadn't been nearly as in control over the sword when she first started. She began to clap then, not caring she was only a one person audience. "Bravo, boys! Bravo!"

As the boy felt the arm of his father, his tears began to slowly dry up, the automatic feeling of comfort washing over him. It was something his mother always loved telling him about, the way his father could do just about anything for a person and never say one word. Stepping back for a moment as he heard Keiko describe the situation Toketsu had practically yelled at her, he felt a sigh escape from his lips. Changing gears into the fashion of his mother, the boy explained further. "Kiko had found us the night before, so mother took me and we ran for what seemed the thousandth time. The time was different though, and when that monster caught us off guard, my mother didn't even have time to summon the Blizare before she began ruthlessly attacking. I tried to assist by changing the environment, but I was already too late and she had began to send me back. Kiko made one last attempt at my life before I was completely gone, and the last image I saw of her..." he said, quieting down. He didn't want to explain it. If he did, it would only reinforce the image, the young boys hand reaching up and kneading his forehead to ward off an impending headache.

As Sno listened to what Keiko had to say, she nodded. The very words seemed like the senshi was speaking a foreign language. She couldn't ever imagine her and Kiko having to fight, much less Kiko having the will to kill her. Watching as the boy explained, then rubbed his forehead just as Sno would when trying to reduce the headache she often gave herself from overthinking, she simply came to eye level with the boy, a smile on her face. "Well, we're both alive and well as you can see, and with all the information and power we just received from you three making your appearance, I plan on staying that way," she said, leaning forward and kissing the boys forehead as he pulled his hand away. Toketsu only could let a small smile creep along his lips as she did. It was something his mother always did in the future, and it comforted him knowing it wasn't a habit created from stress, but happiness instead.

Taking one more deep breath, Toketsu looked back up to Jirou, a new found happiness in his eyes. "Even with being sent in here in a moment of despair, I've found myself in quite the opposite conditions. With your permission sir, I would appreciate your training in the art of weaponry combat," he asked, a small bow of his head. Yes, the man was his father, but at the same time, he was also King in his mind and it was hard for Toketsu to figure out exactly how to act around Jirou. In his time, his mother had been able to give him immense training in his magic, but as for swordplay, it was a trickier matter because there was only one Blizare and no time to seek a second weapon out much less practice with them. The boy was fairly self-proficient, but knew there were leaps and bounds for him to grow.

Hikara could only feel the smile creep across her face as Toketsu mentioned training. She herself had only been taught by her mother, and in result she had very little control over the darkness she had inherited from her father. Turning around in place with a happy jump, she clapped her hands and smiled. "Oh, can we please?! I want Dad to teach me something I've been dying to know!" she said, almost squeaking the sentence out. Kesiom simply looked at the hyper girl, a look of confusion on his face. What could he possibly teach her? After another moment, he felt then what she was referring to. The girl housed both her mother and father's elements, something that surprised him. "You house both the element of darkness and light in you...how is that possible?" he asked, only to have Toketsu quickly turn around to look at him.

The young boy smiled as he turned, his brain kicking in quickly as the explanation he had figured out rolled from his tongue. "It's quite simple actually...she is able to house both elements because of the third element she carries within' her. The wind she presides over in essence is about to effectively combine the two opposing elements inside of her, causing them to reside and be used harmoniously instead of causing her pain," he spouted off like it was common knowledge. Sno did her best to hold back a small laugh...any doubt she had that the boy was her son was gone with his last statement.

Aleks just watched as the boy lit up as he praised him, then he struck once more. Apparently praise was the fuel the boy needed, because in the next moment, Yori had the pyrotiem only a second from hitting Aleks in the side before he became still. The man could only let a smile creep along his face once more as he sheathed the Nigotsoru, giving a small bow of his head. "Well, touche young man, you can fight with the best of them," he said, pulling the boy in for a quick hug before he looked up at the happy Kiko.

Walking over with the boy next to him, he stopped in front of Kiko, taking her hand and giving it a light kiss. "Looks like my job as already been complete, so it's your turn beautiful," he said, a silly grin adorning his face. Apparently his future self had done very well in training the boy considering if his intentions had been there, the boy could have seriously just injured his present self. It was up to Kiko now to complete the boys training it seemed, the raw element coursing through the boy not as thoroughly tamed and usable as the boy seemed to wish it to be.

xxxxJirou let the boy go as he pulled back to hear Keiko explain just how they had found him. He couldn't help but exchange a glance with Sno at the thought of the fire senshi actually terminating her. Sure, Kiko got a bit unruly at times, maybe a little loud, but he couldn't see the girl killing her best friend in cold blood. But then again, from what Sno had mentioned earlier, these kids came from a time where neither Kesiom nor Kiko were in control of their own powers. He could only imagine the horror of such a world, and when Toketsu stopped his brief explanation at the thought of watching his mother perish, he couldn't help but clasp a hand at the base on the back of his neck. It was something he could remember his own father doing when he needed strength. Sno seemed to notice his distress as well, for she came over to coo comforting words and a promise to the boy in her usual way. This seemed to cheer him up, for he turned under his grasp and requested training in a way Jirou thought only he did. A soft smile tugged at the corners of his mouth at hearing 'sir'. While some thought it a little too professional, even annoying, Jirou found it endearing. Without even knowing him growing up, this boy still had his traits. "Permission granted." and he full on smiled for perhaps the first time since meeting Sno.

xxxxKeiko was glad the mood in the room got brighter, not sure how much more gloom and doom she could handle. She had already fainted once today, she didn't need to start bawling like a child. She had to give them all credit, though. She imagined how perhaps any other person would act at being told by three kids they were yours from the future and everyone's dead there. They were all taking it in stride, she'd like to think. Getting over the initial shock of seeing Jirou actually smiling, she turned from her thoughts back to Hikara as the girl excitedly requested training with Kesiom. It made sense, in her time she had already been trained by Keiko. She had made that obvious with the phenomenal job she did on Toketsu. But she could sense Kesiom's familiar energy in her as well, something she knew quite well was hard to control. She could only listen in intrigue as Kesiom questioned something she too had been wondering. Before the girl could explain, Toketsu chimed in, explaining Hikara's abilities as if reading straight out of a book. She smiled a little, taking a quick glance at Sno; he really was her offspring, he had her brains and studious nature.

xxxxAfter a moment Keiko had a thought, "Well, if you guys want to train we can meet up with Kiko and the others?" she suggested, knowing they had gone to train much to Yori's utter delight.

Toketsu immediately found Jirou's smile to be contagious, a massive smile of his own pushing its way to the surface as he listened to the few words that the man responded with. The very thought of training with his father was something that highly excited the boy. He was moderately good at defending with the Blizare, but ask the boy to attack? He hadn't landed a single hit on Yori the entire time they trained back on Mars. In result though, his magical abilities had gone through the roof, though he knew just relying on that alone wouldn't be enough every time. If an enemy was able to get in close quarters with him, he would have a very hard time keeping himself uninjured.

Sno felt any anxiety she had thought she would experience meeting her son, much less having him meet his ghost of a father, quickly dissipated. The boy was just like Jirou in so many ways, but when he did speak up, he was like Sno more and more. Watching as he asked for training from Jirou, her smile widened, her heart lighting up as she saw one of Jirou's rare smiles. Out of instinct, she pushed herself up on her tippy toes, giving the man a small kiss on the lips she was so happy to see curved upwards. When Toketsu quickly explained the powers inside of Hikara though, she couldn't help but let out a small laugh, leaning back down to eye level with the boy. "Don't be surprised if you scare someone in the future with that kind of nonchalant explanation," she said, smiling as Toketsu just gave a big grin in return.

Hikara just laughed at Toketsu's explanation. "I could have said that in such a less geeky way," she said, sticking her tongue out as the boy just gave her a silly face in return. "None the less, lets go lets go lets go!" she said, overly excited as she grabbed her parents hands. Kesiom couldn't help but smile also, the girl definitely had the energy level that came with having the blood of Mars in her. Taking the reigns this time, Kesiom grabbed Keiko's hand before they disappeared in a wisp of shadow. Sno did the same, grabbing Jirou's hand and setting her other hand on the boy's shoulder before a small flurry of snow was left in their wake.

Landing on the ground, Toketsu looked around, immediately spotting Yori, a smile creeping along his face as he waved at the boy. Then his eyes caught the sight of Kiko, and he couldn't help the frown that fell across his face. In his mind he knew it wasn't the same Kiko, this one wasn't consumed by darkness and his mother was alive and well right next to him...but the image was still too vivid in his mind for him to just push his feelings down about the whole situation. Sno noticed the change, squeezing the boys shoulder to hopefully stop him before Kiko noticed some random new kid glaring daggers at her. Toketsu just sighed, shaking his head to move the thought from his mind.

As the other three landed, Hikara began jumping up and down, waving her hand in the air. "Me first! I have a surprise for you dad!" she said, then stopped jumping even though she was still bouncing in place. Kesiom almost gave the girl a worried look before nodding, saying he was paying attention. "It's about the only thing I've been able to master with my darkness, but I think you'll like it..." she said, before closing her eyes, pulling her hands in front of her chest as a black ball of energy began gathering in between them. After a few seconds, she pushed both of her hands in the air, yelling out her command. "Summon!" she said, the energy flying from her hand, swirling up into the air before concentrating into one spot, a small portal forming. From in it the loud noise of a bird cawing came through, and Kesiom's eyes widened. "You didn't..." he said, looking up just as a black figure came flying from the portal, and in the next second was perched on Hikara's shoulder. A pitch black raven with glowing yellow eyes sat there, preening under his wing before looking back up.

Kesiom immediately walked over to the girl, bringing his hand up to pet the bird on the neck, who responded by craning his head to the side. "Shadow...I thought he..." Kesiom began saying just as the bird fluttered up, flying over and landing on his shoulder, rubbing its beak against the man's cheek. Hikara just smiled. "I found him locked up in the Mars palace. They had captured him sometime when you were fighting, and he immediately responded to me, so I figured he must have been the animal familiar I heard you had when you were younger..." she said, a big grin on her face. Shadow had been Kesiom's familiar in the war, and the man was sure he had been killed during one of the more fierce battles he had been in.

Toketsu watched as the bird appeared, apparently being of importance to Hikara and her dad. Turning around, he was just about to address Jirou as Sno spoke up once more. "Before you start, can we get a demonstration of your abilities? I can sense you have an immense amount of control over ice, and I would like to see just how much it is..." she said, a grin playing across Toketsu's face. The boy immediately looked over to Yori, just giving him a shrug. "Wanna show off?" he said, then turned back to Sno. "Oh, could I get the Blizare please?" he asked. Sno felt her brow furrow for a second. It was just weird hearing someone so casually ask for her sword. The one time someone else had tried touching her sword, they died from a mixture of drowning and freezing to death. It wasn't pretty, to say the least.

Sno shook it off, pulling out her compact and transforming, taking another second to summon the Blizare. Reaching her arm out with it, Toketsu smiled as he walked over and took it from her. Like when Yori had handled the Pyrotiem, it changed appearance as it changed hands. With Sno, it was a cloudy blue color and seemed to shine like it was wet. When Toketsu took a hold of it, it immediately turned into a clear ice, drying up as an almost fog like mist rolled off of it from the subzero temperature it fell to. Toketsu reached under his shirt, grabbing the pendant he had inherited from Jirou in the future, a wall of ice forming around his form, shattering to reveal him in his white robes, his complexion more pale than normal and his lips blue as his element showed through.

xxxxJirou let his hand drop back down to his side as Sno stood back upright, even raising a bit to kiss him. He instinctively wrapped an arm along her waist and returned her kiss before turning back to Toketsu as Sno told him not everyone spoke so analytically the way they did. His smiled stayed on his face at seeing the two interact; they were, no doubt, very similar.

xxxxKeiko couldn't help but be amused at how excited Hikara was becoming at the idea of training. She wanted to go, and she wanted to go now. Taking hold of Kesiom's hand, she braced herself for the transport. Once they landed, she took a quick survey of their surroundings. They were in a ball field, Kiko and Aleks and Yori not far from where they landed. Her sister quickly noticed the newcomers, turning to face them with a wave, "Glad you guys joined us. Came for a show?" Before she could answer, Sno and the others landed beside them. Kiko seemed a little perplexed. Not only had everyone just shown up to their training session, but there was another boy along with them. The fact that he came with Sno and Jirou and the way they acted around each other led the girl to believe this was the son Hikara had mentioned earlier. But what was he doing here? She decided it was a question she would save for a little later, for Hikara began to show off a skill for her parents. Instead she chose to shoot the boy a smile, giving him a thumbs up. The way he first looked at her made her recall just how he saw her in his time. She would probably look at herself the same way.

xxxxKeiko had never seen this sort of magic before, so she was a little confused as Hikara summoned a bird from what appeared to be a hole in the sky. Kesiom obviously knew what it was for he went over to it and called it by name. So this was his? Or, had been his at one point in time...She turned to her sister then, deciding to give a little bit of an explanation, "Everyone wanted to train, I guess. So here we are."

xxxxJirou was glad Sno quested what she did, he was curious as well to see what his future son was capable of. Seeing him transform, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride rise in him. He was vaguely reminded of the way his father watched him train back home, always giving him pointers but never forgetting to be encouraging.

xxxxYori turned just in time to see Toketsu land with Sno and Jirou, and he couldn't hide the excitement on his face. "Toketsu!" he grinned wide, waving at the boy. He wanted to question why he had come, but when he suggested 'showing off', Yori's grin turned into more of a smirk, and he could only nod. "I'm down for that. But, don't be upset when I kick your butt." he said in typical Kiko fashion, placing a hand at his hip as he held out the Pyrotiem toward him. Kiko ushered the others over in their direction to give the two room. She immediately understood the boys wanted to spar, and couldn't deny the fact she was pretty excited to see how this would play out. Yori stood firm, closing his eyes as a wall of fire surrounded him. When it died, he was clad in armor much like Aleks', but adorn with the colors of Mars. Kiko watched with pride, but couldn't help and speak up, "Be careful, you two."

Aleks watched as the others appeared, listening as the sisters spoke. He did notice that glare from the new boy, someone apparently Yori knew. When the battle was proposed, the man just grinned, his heart filling with pride once more at seeing his son transform. When Kiko said for them to be safe, Aleks just shrugged. "Or...they could just try and kick each other's asses...we do have three separate healers on site," he said, smiling weakly as he expected Kiko to reprimand him.

Sno walked over to the group that was standing out of the way, walking up to Kiko and giving the girl a hug for a second. "Looks like we have a full party now, though it seemed Yori and Hikara came more on their own will. Seems I forcefully sent Toketsu through to this time..." she said, pausing for a moment before finishing the sentence, "...because future you killed future me..." she finished, raising her eyebrows with a small shrug. It was beyond weird, casually talking to her best friend about how she had killed her future self. Weird, just weird.

Kesiom followed the crowd off to the side of the field, the bird cawing on his shoulder as Hikara reached up to pet it. When they came to a stop though, the bird's attention became occupied, and in a second it flew of of the man's shoulder and on Keiko's head. "Shadow! What are you doing?" the man asked the bird, trying to reach and grab him as he ran around the woman's head, evading his hands skillfully. Soon Kesiom just sighed as the bird came to the front of Keiko's head, leaning forward so that it's face was hanging upside down in front Keiko's. Cocking it's head around a few times, the bird began nuzzing it's head against the girls forehead, its way of showing affection. "I always thought Shadow was a cat sometimes..." he said, reaching over and gently pulling the bird from her head, placing him on a perch he had created from his finger. The thing that really surprised the man was that the bird had been so calm around Keiko. In the war, he had always attacked anyone that was good, having an extreme hatred for light users. "Settle down..." he whispered to the bird, only to have it respond. "Nono, nono," it said, and Kesiom looked over at Hikara with an exasperated look. "You taught him...how to talk?" he asked, the girl only biting her bottom lip and she shook her head yes.

Aleks watched as both of the boys got ready, but honestly found it hard to believe Toketsu would be able to evade Yori. Aleks himself had evaded some of the most powerful attacks he had ever seen simply because of his speed, and Yori had that down well. "Well, this should at least be interesting..." he said, just as Hikara looked over at him with an irritated look. "You really think Yori is great with his speed he got from you, don't you? Speed doesn't quiet matter though, not when you can't reach your opponent," she said, looking over at Toketsu as he started the battle.

Toketsu knew what his first few moves always were. He was a tactical fighter just like his mother, so making anything he could more advantageous for him was something he prioritized first. Holding the Blizare up in front of him, he closed his eyes as he pulled the blade upwards, spinning it over his head. Ice crystals began to form, and in a few moments, the boy pulled himself down, leaving the Blizare circling in the air. Curling into a tight ball, the ice crystals began to attack to him, and within' a few seconds a ball of ice had formed around the boy. Suddenly, the Blizare came to a dead halt, pointing downwards directly on top of the ball, and dropping. As it hit, the ice cracked a flew away from him, the boys hand reaching up and grabbing the blade again. Sno's eyes damn near fell out of her head as he stood up though...when he was fully straightened, two large wings unfolded from his back, consisting of paper thing sheets of ice.

The senshi simply shook her head. His control was astounding over the ice...he was able to move individual molecules to make the ice bend as he took off from the ground into the air. The ice was moving like it was a bird's wing made of flesh and bone, not what would be normally solid, breakable sheets of ice. The boy spoke from his position in the air, his eyes now completely covered in a dark blue color. "I won't be the one losing Yori...I've been gone for two years, you have no idea what I've accomplished," he said with a smirk as suddenly the area started to become much colder. Soon, it felt like a blizzard in and of itself was rolling through the area, ice coating the trees, the ground, anything it touched. Toketsu always tried making the terrain turn to his advantage, something he had learned to do in order to help his mother deal with the hardships of the heat of Mars. He had a resistance to fire and could stand it, but his mother was always at about half energy because of what toll the heat took on her.

xxxxKiko raised her arms up to return Sno's hug, glad to see the woman. She couldn't hide her shock at hearing Sno explain just how Toketsu had gotten here. It was weird beyond belief to be talking about these sorts of things, much less trying to imagine her own self killing her best friend. "Well...good to know...you don't lose your sense in a pinch." she didn't really know what else to say.

xxxxWhen the bird first landed on Keiko's head, she reacted like most women did and cringed. There was a bird walking around on her head, for christ's sake! But once it stopped, leaning down to stare at her then nuzzle at her forehead, Keiko calmed down. It was, after all, a friend of Hikara's and Kesiom's. She smiled a little, reaching a hand up to gently scratch at it's head before letting Kesiom grab hold of it again.

xxxxKiko was about to ask just what Hikara was going on about, not being able to reach your opponent, but Toketsu's actions quickly answered her curiosity. He had manipulated ice into wings, hoisting himself into the air. She mirrored Sno's look of shock, having never seen such control over an element before. She glanced over at Yori, gauging his reaction. He didn't appear to be too phased by Toketsu's tactics. He simply stood his ground, his grip tightening on the Pyrotiem. Even as the terrain dropped heavily in temperature, Yori remained confident. Kiko raised her arms up around herself, not liking this sudden change in temperature at all. Jirou, on the other hand, could feel the small blizzard Toketsu had created enriching his own energy. He stood beside Sno, arms crossed and eyes trained on his future son. His power was something to be rivaled, and a small smile played at his lips. This would be a good match.

xxxxYori's lips raised in a smirk, still ever confident, "And you have no idea what I've accomplished, either." he replied cooly. Closing his eyes, he clasped both hands at his sword's hilt, taking in a long breath. Gathering energy, he opened his eyes and breathed out, a fireball forming there by his mouth as if he had just breathed fire. Suddenly the sword engorged in flames, growing bigger and bigger until it surrounded Yori, melting the ice that had formed around him. Despite not liking the cold like his mother, he had become more accustomed to it, what with spending so much time with Sno and on Mercury. He bent at the knees then, as if getting ready to jump. He did so, launching himself a few feet into the air, but did not stop then. He dropped one of his hands from his sword to his side, his fingers beginning to glow. A faint flame flickered from his palm until a full blown fire raged there. He used it's power to further propel himself through the air, like an engine, and once he was high enough in range of the other, he slashed his sword with remarkable speed at one of the boy's ice wings.

(totally forgot about jirou in this post. oops. edited!)

Toketsu watched as Yori made his move, ridding himself of the ice he had brought into the area. As he began propelling himself upward, Toketsu narrowed his eyes. He had become as accustomed as he could to watching the boys speed through out the fights they shared, and in the air there was no way he could be as in control of his fire engine as Toketsu was with his ice wings. Just as he neared, Toketsu gritted his teeth, moving as fast as possible, using the Blizare to deflect the Pyrotiem's hit. As the two swords clanged together, an almost purple electricity sparked between the two, much to Sno's amusement. She had always wondered what her and Kiko's swords would do if they came within' contact, and obviously their boys were being kind enough to show them.

Toketsu's poor swordsmanship skills showed through at the moment though as his attempt to deflect Yori threw him off for a second. It was one second he could have spent getting away from the other boy, so knowing it would be a lot harder now, Toketsu began another spell, and in the next moment hundreds of ribbons of ice flew from his wings towards Yori. Toketsu hoped on his assumption of Yori's inability to maneuver once he was in the air, but then again, the fact that the other boy reached him in the first place wasn't a good sign.

Out of instinct, Aleks walked over and pulled on the cape from his transformation, pulling it around Kiko, attempting to warm the girl up. Aleks found it to be a little chilly, but nothing in comparison to what he figured Kiko must be feeling. Kesiom mimicked what Aleks did, having handed Shadow off to Hikara before walking up behind Keiko and wrapping his arms around hers. Sno just stood next to Jirou, happy as pie, finding the temperature change quite enjoyable. "You silly hotheads..." she said, looking to Kiko and sticking her tongue out a little. She wasn't sure why, but she was was in a silly mood herself, probably because their boys were out fighting.

xxxxIt was true, Toketsu had the upper hand in the air. He had more control and maneuverability, but his disadvantage showed as their swords connected. It threw him off momentarily, something Yori would not let go to waste. The flames in his hand burned harder as he tried to follow the other boy. He swung his sword with a loud grunt, sending a jet of flames at him just as he completed his spell. He hadn't seen it coming, and the ribbons quickly wrapped around his middle and ankles, causing the fire he was using to keep himself up to go out. He plummeted to the earth, crashing into it with a large puff of smoke. The smile at Jirou's lips got a little bigger at this. He had mastered their element, that much was obvious. Honestly, he wouldn't doubt that Toketsu had a surpassed himself and Sno. Being raised in war can do that to you.

xxxxKiko gave a quick thanks to Aleks at feeling his cape wrap around her shoulders, instantly feeling a little better from the cold. She stuck her tongue back out at Sno, followed by a playful grin. She was going to say something equally as snarky but immediately went back to the fight as Yori fell. Her first reaction was go and help the boy, but before she could move Keiko put a hand in front of her, "Just wait." Yori was her sister's son, after all. A little hit like that wouldn't keep him down...

xxxxFrom the cloud of smoke came a stream of fire that rose at least four stories high, Yori at it's top. Using the raw flames to propel him through the air, up and above Toketsu, he let it die as he turned himself around, diving back toward the earth. He was moving so fast it was hard to track him with the naked eye as he lunged for Toketsu, grabbing him around the middle and sending them both hurdling back toward the ground.

Toketsu couldn't help but grin when his attack connected, watching as his opponent fell to the earth below. Watching the spot he landed, he watched as quick as ever Yori recovered, shooting himself up with raw, hot burning flames that even made Toketsu flinch. In the next second, Toketsu felt the other collide into his waist, a small yelp being pushed from him as he flew to the ground fast. In the few seconds he had available to him, Toketsu wrapped his wings around Yori, and just before they hit, he detached the wings from his back, leaving them to tighten around the other boy as he felt his own back crash into the ice, shattering it in an explosive rain of ice as he skidded through it, finally stopping as he hit a tree with a loud grunt.

Coughing a few times, Toketsu went to move his arm, gritting his teeth as he realized there was a large gash down the side from where it had impacted the tree. In reality, he was lucky he didn't break something with how hard he had hit, but there was certainly enough blood apparent to make the wound visible. Sno felt her hand raise up as she nibbled on the edge of her finger. She wanted so bad to stop the match, but if the boy had any of Jirou's persistence he wouldn't allow such a thing to happen. Considering how much the boy had already shown to be exactly like his father, there was no chance for her to step in.

Toketsu pushed himself up from his spot, clutching his arm and he looked through the remaining ice crystals in the air, a small smile taking its place on his face. Letting his arm hang, he lifted his good arm towards the bound Yori on the ground, the wings suddenly mutating into two human figures, then split to make four ice people. They had the boy pinned to the ground, the ice they were using to do so constantly renewing as to destroy any chance Yori had of melting his way out of the bindings. Grabbing the Blizare once more, he walked forward slowly, not paying attention to the trail of red he was leaving behind him. He wouldn't have the energy any longer to sustain his wings, but if he could keep Yori trapped, it wouldn't matter as much.

xxxxKiko watched with pride as Yori tackled them both to the ground, "That's it Yori! Ground that sucker!" Perhaps she should have been a bit more polite considering it was Sno's future child she was talking about, but it was the heat of the moment...Kiko couldn't really help herself. Keiko only rolled her eyes at this, continuing to watch the match. Jirou had the same instinct as Sno, seeing Toketsu hurt like he was, but the boy showed no signs of letting up. He wasn't too surprised at this. It was his son, after all.

xxxxFeeling the ice close around him, Yori could do nothing but brace himself as yet again he fell into the ground with tremendous force. He tried to heat himself up, to get the ice to melt, but it instead formed into ice figures, pinning him there on the ground. Where the ice forms held him, his skin sizzled like he was being burnt. For a child of fire, it certainly felt like it. He gritted his teeth, writhing there for a moment, his grip on his sword becoming so tight white patches formed at his knuckles. He peered over at Toketsu, who was making his way slowly back over toward him. Without thinking, he let out a loud grunt, his eyes going solid white. The white flames on his sword spread to his hand, up his arm, until his entire body appeared to catch fire. He yelled then, sending the fire surrounding him out in all directions, literally shattering the figures that held him to the ground.

xxxxSadly, Yori's downfall was his lack of control. The fire he sent out to destroy his bindings continued to spread. Kiko saw the wall of flames headed their way, and immediately stepped out to raise her hands up and split it in two, causing the fire to narrowly miss their group, dissipating a few feet away. "Watch it!"

xxxxYori didn't have time to apologize. He was on his feet as soon as possible, sword raised at the approaching Toketsu. He was already hurt, he could see that much, but the boy wasn't asking to call it quits so Yori wasn't about to let up. He launched forward with his impressive speed, using the same maneuver he had on Aleks from before. He sidestepped at the last moment, swinging his sword at the boys injured arm. One thing his father had taught him in his time was to exploit weakness, and he took it to heart. Toketsu had the upper hand with magic control, but Yori surpassed him in swordsmanship.

Aleks couldn't help but let a smile come on his face watching the two fight, mostly watching the same thing Kiko did as Yori was finally able to bring Toketsu down to his playing field. Hearing Kiko vocalize her thoughts though, he brought his face down next to her ear. "Hey hey hey, no comments from the peanut gallery miss," he said, kissing the top of her ear before holding her a little tighter. It was a kind of hug/keeping her in one place kind of hold, but in the end, it was hard for Aleks to deny that he wanted to do something similar to what she had just done.

As Sno heard Kiko outburst, she couldn't help but raise as eyebrow at her best friend. Always loud, always rambunctious, and quite annoying at the moment. Sno kept it to herself at the moment though, reaching over pulling Jirou's arm loose and tightly gripping his hand instead. It was her subtle way of saying 'hey, make sure I don't smack her around, kay?' Just as the wall of flame came towards them though, Sno reacted similarly to Toketsu just as Kiko went to divert it, her own hand raising to create another barrier of ice around the group. As Kiko diffused it though, she let the wall drop only to watch as Yori struck the now injured Toketsu.

Toketsu watched as the boy stuck on the ground suddenly lost control of his element, the wall of fire, blazing hot sped towards him. Immediately the boys hand went out, a 5 foot think wall of ice forming in front of him to stop the fire. As he felt it race by on both sides of the wall, Toketsu knew what was coming and knew he needed to act fast. Using what energy he had left, he pulled another spell out of his arsenal, just as the flames died down and he saw Yori rushing him. Just as the boys sword came flying down to hit Toketsu's arm, all it did was sear through, and suddenly the figure of Toketsu fell into a pile of slush on the ground. Sno felt her irritation with Kiko turn into surprise once more. Where had he disappeared to?

Toketsu had used the moment just before Yori swung to transport himself out of the ice cocoon he had made around himself, hiding about 25 feet up in a tall tree farther into the forested area around the ballpark. His energy was almost completely drained, and he knew if he tried another spell, he'd likely mess something up on the inside from too much strain. Breathing heavily, he rested his back against the trunk, trying his hardest to come up with something before Yori found him. He didn't want to forfeit, not in the first time his father was watching him, watching his tactics and his powers. He couldn't, he couldn't be weak like that.
