xxxWhile whatever fit this girl had in front of them that caused her to pass out made things for the two of them a lot easier, it also made things difficult. Kiko could have pried answers from her, gotten Keiko's exact location. But instead she just stared at Kiko, mumbling about there being two of her. She was, no doubt, referring to her sister, but she didn't understand why this had caused the girl to completely pass out. She decided not to think on it long and follow Sno's lead. After a few words and a wall of flames, Kiko had transformed to her senshi state, the Pyrotiem burning brightly in her hand.

xxxKiko wasn't good at picking up all energy levels, but she was good at picking up her sisters. They were twins after all, Kiko had always been able to pick her out of a crowd. She let Sno take care of the woman passed out on the floor while she closed her eyes and desperately searched the grounds for her sister's energy. She just had to focus! The whole place felt cold and unfamiliar but...wait, there was something...A familiar warmth which didn't feel too far away. "Follow me." and she was off like a shot down the hallway, following her sister's energy. "WHOEVER YOU ARE, I'M COMING FOR YOU a*****e."

⊱ He felt the other energy in the area explode, and he knew immediately he had the wrong girl. He had heard very faint rumors that there could be a twin...that's who he must have. As she tried to act tough, Kesiom only grinned back, pushing his nail in deeper before dropping her down once more. "Trust me, you won't live to see your next birthday, Keiko" he said chillingly before dissipating from her view.

⊱ Kesiom knew the two powers coming were going to be no match for him at the moment, he wasn't ready for a fight like this. Live to fight another day was his option, so he left the girl, bound and bleeding, and vanished in search of Alba. As he entered the room she was in, mumbling through the ice that covered her face, he rolled his eyes and stored his claymore on his back. No point in having to summon it again if trouble were to arise. Walking over to Alba, he picked her back up and smashed the ice off with one blunt hit, slapping her face silly, her attention suddenly becoming very alert. "Watch out! There's two of her!" she bellowed before Kesiom could put a hand over her mouth. "Be quiet, now is not the time to loose control over yourself like you apparently already did once," he said with spite. How she could have passed out in such a situation? Perhaps she wasn't as useful as Kesiom hoped she would be. "Remember that rumor of there being twin Mars daughters? It's not a rumor," he whispered as her eyes became wide.

xxxxx Sno followed quickly after Kiko, ignoring the pain blistering across her face from the cut and bruises now appearing. She listened as Kiko ran, the fury emanating from her voice. While Sno may have completed Kiko's other half in the senses of their personalities, Keiko completed her in the sense of being a person. She was her twin, and they shared a bond Sno could only hope to start and comprehend one day. As they ran, Sno's glasses began to pick up on a warmer energy source, and as they got closer it identified as Keiko's. A surge of relief ran through Sno, but the fact that no other energy sources, only traces, were in the room perplexed her. All of the enemies that had been after the girls always stayed and fought them, only to meet a timely demise. Obviously, the enemy they were dealing with thought ahead unlike the others.

xxxxAs soon as he said her real name, Keiko's breath caught in her lungs. If Kiko wasn't so loud and pissed off all the time she might have been able to keep him here long enough for the others to attack. She gritted her teeth as he pressed just that much harder before letting her body smack back into the cold stone floor. By the time she looked up he had vanished, leaving her there bound like some sort of animal.

xxx "Kiko! Sno! Can you hear me? Over here!" she was trying to give them something to go off of other than just her energy pattern. That and she wanted Kiko to hear her voice, to let her know she was alright and still alive. Within minutes she saw the two familiar senshi enter the room she had been kept in, and a wave of relief crashed into her so hard she let out a desperate laugh. Thank god.

xxxOf course Kiko was elated to see her sister alright, for the most part. But there was a large part of her that was bitter and angry at whomever had taken her; he didn't even have the balls to stick around and fight. She knew, in the back of her mind, it would not be the last time they would have to deal with this person, but Kiko wanted it to be over and done with now. But since when was anything in their lives easy?

xxxHer sword dissipated as she ran over to kneel beside her sister. She was bound by dark energy and bleeding from the neck but for the most part she looked alright. "Sno, help me get this off her." she asked, turning to look at her best friend over her shoulder before glancing back down at her twin sister.

xxxxx Sno nodded and walked over, kneeling down and letting her glasses do their work. Within' a few seconds, Sno had the information she needed, grabbing the tip of one of Keiko's hands. "This matter binding her is composed completely of darkness, so if we lend our power to Keiko, she should be able to destroy the bindings with her power, since it is the opposite of what binds her," Sno recited casually, like it could possibly become an every day tid bit of knowledge. Squeezing Keiko's hand for both energy transfer and comfort, she waited as Kiko held her other hand and left the rest up to Keiko.

⊱ As the shock wore off for Alba, she quickly became excited before noticing the blood on Kesiom's face. "What happened?!" she nearly squealed, almost making Kesiom jump. He just waved his hand, trying to fish for an excuse. "She...she somehow managed to get enough momentum to kick me, and it socked me right in the face," he lied. Alba eyed his suspiciously, then chose to believe him before jumping into the next topic. "So, what now? Do we attack?" she asked excitedly. "No, we return to earth and regroup...this is more than one senshi we're dealing with, and we need to formulate a plan that is more concrete. Running in blindly would ensure a quick death for us both," he said, and in the next moment, the two were gone.

⊱ Back at their apartment, Kesiom immediately headed for the bathroom, grabbing a towel and looking at the damage done. His lip cut slightly on the outside, which had caused a lot of blood to come, but over-all it wouldn't take long to heal. Human teenagers were naturally clumsy, so saying he fell up the stairs or something equally as idiotic would suffice to convince the educators in the human institution. Rinsing away the blood, he took the moment to splash cold water on his face as the memory of that odd feeling came back to him. He honestly didn't know what it was called, and even though it had been destroyed fairly quickly by the girl, it was still enough to leave him wondering.

xxxKiko would have made a joke about Sno's unending knowledge and her ability to make anything sound like common conversation, but there were more serious things at hand. She made sense, Keiko was after all Sailor Light. She took her sister's other free hand and took in a deep breath through her nose. After a second, her hand began to gently heat up. She was transferring as much energy as possible to her sister without hurting herself in the process. She'd be useless to protect them if whoever did this decided to come back if she had no energy left.

xxxKeiko could feel the energy from both scouts course through her and after a minute or two she had enough to push it outward and destroy the binds that held her. Once free, Kiko helped her stand, giving her the once over. She had that cut on her neck but now realized she had blood on her lips. He had cut her mouth, too? She didn't think too much into it, instead gave her sister a quick hug and then was facing Sno again. "Lets get out of here before I do something stupid, like attempt to chase after this ********] Keiko waved her hands and shook her head frantically at Sno behind her sisters back, mouthing to her they needed to go now because they both knew Kiko wasn't just saying that; she meant it.

xxxxx When Kiko spoke about chasing this enemy, and with Keiko's reaction as she wasn't looking, Sno only believed too well Kiko would follow up with what she spoke. Grabbing Kiko's hand before anything else happened, and Keiko's also, the three were gone from the horrible dimension of stone and darkness, appearing back in Sno and Kiko's apartment. Snowflake came running up, gently jumping on Keiko's shoulder and rubbing her cheek with her face. "Oh thank the heavens you're safe!" the kitty said over her loud purr. Snowflake noticed she was hurt, but with her abilities it was nothing a little rest and relxation wouldn't cure.

xxxxx Sno turned and sat on the couch, now back in her regular clothes, and when the other girls joined her, her info gathering side kicked in. "Keiko...did you have a chance to see what this attacker looked like? We apparently ran into his ditz for a partner, but obviously he got away before we could do anything..."

xxxxOnce they were back in the comfort of Kiko's apartment, the twins let out an almost comical unison sigh. It had been a long day. Keiko smiled as Snowflake padded over to her to welcome her home. Although she didn't live with the two elemental senshi, she was practically the third roommate anyway. She even had a spare key. "Sno and Kiko knew what they were doing, of course I'm safe." she smiled warmly. Not a minute had passed since her frightening experience and yet she was back to being her bubbly, upbeat self. Kiko shook her head, still questioning at times if they were truly related.

xxxxSno and Keiko thought very similarly when it came to the importance of good information and observation. She wracked her brain to try and remember that glimpse of the man's face before the mask and for the split second he...well...Keiko was still fuzzy on the whole thing. She shook her head softly as if that would shake the memory back into place. "His name is Kesiom. I saw his face momentarily when he first saw me. He has black hair and pale blue, almost grey eyes. But...when he got truly angry...they flashed black. Like he was possessed or something. It seemed like he was loosing control until that girl stepped in." As she was explaining, Keiko made quick work of the wounds both her and Sno had managed to accumulate. With a wave of her hand and a calming warmth they were good as new. "He thought I was you, Kiko. she turned to her sister, who had a sneer on her face that only meant she was pissed off. Not at Keiko but because she was the reason her sister had gotten captured in the first place. "He wants to kill you to destroy the sword."

xxxxThis wasn't the first time they had dealt with enemies out to get her sword. Sno's sword was often sought after as well, especially considering the two senshi were practically inseparable. Why not grab two while you can? But this was the first time someone would rather simply kill her than attempt to control her and, in turn, Pyrotiem. "I don't get it, though. How does he know enough about me to know about the sword and how it works, but not know which one of us is which?"

Solar made his way into the conversation by now, jumping up to sit beside Snowflake between Sno and Keiko. "Remember though, Keiko was practically a secret. You didn't even know about her until you turned 18. Maybe he didn't know you had a sister at all. And, I mean, you two are practically identical."

xxxxx Sno couldn't help but let a small laugh escape her lips as the twins answered at the same time. It was typical of them, denying they weren't alike, and in the process proving themselves wrong. Then, Sno's analytical side came in. "There's a likely chance that this Kesiom is part of the same group that attacked our kingdoms and as to why we were sent here to earth. Like Kiko said though, it is odd that this man wants to destroy the power instead of control it. If he's really on the same side, wouldn't he want the opposite?" Sno said, getting lost in her thoughts as possibility after possibility ran through her mind. This didn't make sense, and for Sno, that wasn't something she dealt with easily.

xxxxx Her thought process was interupted when Snowflake butted her head against Sno's arm, demanding attention. Smiling slightly, Sno reached down and pet her a few times, though slowly as her brain was fighting for attention to the problem. "I know you are frustrated you can't figure this out, but you should also consider we don't have a lot of information on this guy, or his companion. We know a name and a general look about him, that's all, not nearly enough to figure out his motives..." Snowflake said. That was the reason Sno loved her companion. When her brain went wild looking for an answer it didn't have the pieces for, Snowflake was always able to reign it back in with a logical conclusion and a reminder that the pieces would come eventually.

xxxxxSno nodded and looked back to the two girls. "Another thought crossed my mind...since he obviously met you here, in this dimension of earth, he must reside as a human somewhere near you. Did you perhaps get an idea of how old he was? He may attend a school nearby, whether it be college or high school, and that would be a great way for me to do some snooping around..." Looking to Kiko's face, she saw that protective instinct raging to the surface, but Sno put a kill to it before it came. "I may not be as powerful, but that also means he would not be able to detect my energy patterns as easily, especially if I work to suppress them. Plus, I don't look like you Kiko, so I wouldn't appear as someone out of the ordinary cycle of people he sees in a day," she said. "I promise that I'll stay safe, and of course I'll call out to you guys if something happens," she stated, trying to reassure the twins.

⊱ Kesiom shook his head, distracting his mind from that weird emotion. Finishing patching himself up, Kesiom walked to his bedroom and threw on a pair of grey sweatpants and a tight black tank. He had always felt better when outside on this planet, and he had seen many humans engaging in exercise known as running. It seemed odd, but he'd give it a shot if it could help clear his mind. Walking back through the apartment and throwing his shoes back on, he quickly let Alba know he would be back, and with a jaunt down the stairs, he took off into the street, realizing that the movement was in fact clearing his mind, and the cool evening air felt great.

In all honesty, Aleks was bored. Bored as could be. Yes, his mission was to protect the daughters of Mars and the one daughter of Mercury, but at the same time, coming into contact with them was discouraged since he knew such great amounts about the planets from which they came and by being here on earth, the senshi wanted their daughters to live realitively normal human lives with minimal interference. But, he was still to protect them. He could engage with them, but if they found out who he was, it wouldn't be a great situation. So now, Aleks sat quietly in the Library, a few hours after Kiko had already left, reading one of the many books he had put a goal in his mind to read when he was overlooking Kiko at work.

Work was the time he always knew to find the girls, but beyond that, it was hard to keep tabs on them because it would be odd of some random stranger to constantly be following them around. It was termed being a creeper or something silly like that. None the less, Aleks enjoyed watching the girls, studying their personalities and such. Sno was reserved, quiet, and over-all pretty in a classy sense. She always was analyzing things around her, making sure she knew what was going on at all times. Kiko, on the other hand, she was a fiery spirit, just like her mother. She jumped first and thought later, and surprised Aleks when she managed to sit still long enough to do her job at the library. And of course, Kiko was stunningly beautiful in his opinion. Not just in looks, but in her sheer force of being, her will, her drive, everything. Aleks shook his head lightly, realizing he was inappropriately daydreaming, and with a quiet movement he shut the book and put it back on the shelf.

As he slowly walked out of the library, an odd energy filled the air, and as it got closer, he saw it was resonating from a black haired man running along the other side of the street. He did not notice Aleks, but there was something about him that didn't set well with him.

xxxxThe thoughts that the one group who had threatened her life, her mother's life, so long ago could be back made Kiko's blood boil. Both their mothers gave them up and scarified their own happiness to make sure they grew up normal, happy, and safe. Granted her life wasn't all that normal, but she had a life. Something her mother made sure of. And all of that meant nothing, they could have ended up finding her anyway. She hadn't realized her fist had clenched until she felt Keiko's hand cover her own. They exchanged a small glance before turning back to Sno.

xxxxShe had already deduced another possible plan which didn't surprise Kiko. Her brain ran a mile a minute and there never appeared to be an off switch. Keiko had to think about this one as well. The mask on his face had kept most of his features hidden but for that split second she saw his face...that was what she had to remember. "He didn't appear to be much older than us. He actually seemed a little younger. He was tall but lanky and looked like he had a bit more growing into his body to do."

xxxx"Great, so we're fighting Junior throwing a tantrum?" Kiko wanted nothing more than to search this b*****d out now, but knew they had a lot more planning to do before that. Sno was right to defend her plan, Kiko was already trying to tell her it was silly and she wouldn't allow it. She made sense, absolutely. Sno always did. But that didn't mean Kiko had to like it. She opened her mouth as if to say something, and then closed it. Open, and then close. She looked like a fish. This only happened when she disapproved but couldn't think of any reasons why not. "And Snowflake or I will go with her, Kiko. She won't be alone. We'll even get her a communicator so she'll always be in contact with you." Solar tried to sweeten the idea, but Kiko was still pouting like an off put child. She knew Sno could handle herself. She was a lot stronger than she gave herself credit for. But this man was after her sword, and if he somehow found out Sno had one as well it could spell disaster.

xxxxx Listening to the information Keiko spoke of, Sno started to form plans in her head. He was younger than them, so there was a good chance he was in high school...she'd start there tomorrow. She only had one night class and no work, so that gave her the day to snoop around the highschool. "Well then, I'm going to search out Junior at the high school tomorrow. I've subbed there plenty and nobody would find me sitting in on classes odd. I'll bring my messenger bag so you can travel undercover with me, alright Snowflake?" She made to ask that last part, hopefully to help put Kiko at ease. "And just because this kid is young doesn't mean we should just take him head on. Keiko said herself he was having trouble when he was angry, and I have a feeling from past experiences that there's a power he never showed Keiko...we just need to stay on guard," she reminded the room.

xxxxx "In the mean time, maybe you should stay here for the night Keiko, for added protection and reinforcing the numbers and such," Sno suggested. It was getting late in the night, and a yawn produced from Sno and Snowflake at the same time proved it. "The guest bedroom should be clean, but I'm going to head off to bed...got a long day ahead of me," she said with a big grin. Quickly giving the twins a giant bear hug each, she picked up Snowflake and walked back to her bedroom. Setting the cat gently on the bed, Sno sat next to her, taking her glasses off and rubbing her eyes. Snowflake just cocked her head to the side, and Sno explained. "I can hope..." she whispered, "...that some day this will come to an end," she trailed off. Snowflake rubbed against her in a sign of comfort, and with a quick change of clothes, Sno laid down to sleep.

TIME SKIP, next morning 8am

xxxxx Sno stepped out of her cold shower, quickly toweling herself up, followed by a towel to hold her hair up. She always took cold showers because it was in her nature, her element made her accustom to it and warm showers sometimes even made her nauseous. Rubbing the rest of the water from her hair, she quickly styled it into a tight bun and applied minimal make-up, enough to make her look professional but little to make sure it didn't get in the way in a fight. She chose a black blazer, vivid ocean blue blouse, and a black pencil skirt finished with black heels. Sno knew this look always seemed to add on a few years, so she always wore it or a variation when needed to attend the highschool as a teacher. Stepping out into the living room, she noticed the twins were just having breakfast, or more so Keiko dragged Kiko from bed earlier than she wanted to and was serving her zombie like being food. Sno couldn't help but smile and she walked to the door. Opening her messenger bag, Snowflake jumped inside and hid low, a small hole in the side of the bag for her to breath. "I'll see you guys later...if and when I find something out, I'll let you know over the communicators," she said with a small wave as she walked out the front door.

xxxxxWalking down the steps quickly, she walked out the door just in time to catch the city bus. While the high school was only about 6 blocks away, walking there in her heels would be murder. As she rode, she pretended to dig through her bag, petting Snowflake for comfort in the process. When they reached their destination, she got off the bus with a load of HS kids, and made her way to the office, confirming with the staff that she was going to spend the day sitting in on classes. They were all too happy and subtly hinted at her helping if the teacher needed it. Sno just smiled and headed for her first classroom of choice, the art room. Evil or not, anybody can appreciate art, so she took a stool in the back of the room, crossing her legs and waiting patiently.
