Benefits
A wall sit exercise works the entire muscular system of the lower body. The quadriceps and buttocks work to hold the body in place. Since this is an isometric exercise, the endurance in the lower body muscles improves the longer you hold the position. The wall sit-down exercise improves performance in running, skiing and any sport involving jumping. Precautions
While the wall sit-down puts less stress on the knees, hips and back, you still want to use caution when performing the exercise. Slide down the wall as far as you feel comfortable. If you experience pain, stop or move your body higher up on the wall. Be sure to keep your weight off your toes. This prevents you from adding stress to your knees.     challenge, up to 4 days before or after each challenge. All

    Challengers who submit both before and after photos will

    be rewarded 1k each month they participate. At this point

    there is no reward for "most improved" each month, but if

    request is high enough there will be.

    Find A Buddy

      Often times having a buddy to help keep you motivated and on track is very helpful, so here is a place where you can find another Gaian who needs a buddy. You can work out what is required for each of you, this is just a meeting point.

              Some suggestions: Friend each other here on Gaia. Check in with each other daily. Get a back up means of connecting in case one of you can not check in, i.e. email or Facebook. Set a reward for checking in/completion of a challenge and a fine for failure to check in/non-completion of a challenge.
