Chamber of secrets for both. The movie was awkwardly directed and very bloated, while the book was just... immemorable. It might be the biggest flaw of all the books when the intense, culminating scene lasts no more than two pages, but I feel like Chamber of Secrets was the most keen on exposition and least adept at telling at.
