I just read a post about some guy who thinks that Jesus's sacrifice was nothing. The response that other gaians gave made me feel a lot better about Gaia in general. We all seem to turn a blind eye at the many wrong moral things going on in gaia. I am guilty myself, I just want to say it's nice to see christians stand up for their beliefs even in a place like gaia where so many people scoff at our beliefs, or dont understand them therefore say they are wrong.

Comments and your own thoughts are very welcome.

I am agnostic. However I didn't know that these things were taking place in gaia. It is nice to know that people stand up for their beliefs and not let people push their opinions around like jerks.

I have studied religion for years of my life and I could be the Antichrist for all I care.
They arent perfect and God is nowhere near omnipotent.
Omnipotent is full power over everything and if so then he created Lucifur (the 666th angel) and Lucifur beetrayed him and created evil.
If God is omnipotent then he could have changed that OR he created Lucifur so Lucifur would bring the ashes of hell to us.
Either way I wont ever trust in any higher power.

If you have truly studied religion for years s you say then you would know that I dont refer to the streets of gold as a source of money. Its just simply what the Bible says is in Heaven.

If I was the jackass I was before I learned about the moral code established by judeo-christian teachings and I met you in your "deformed body" I would have been the face of your darkest nemesis. I would have mocked you for your lack of physical ability. Your outward trappings of angst (i assume you dress like a goth, yes?) I would have spit on you and assaulted you, and railed on you for being such a corrupt and flawed shell of a human. I would have laughed at YOU. And I would have thought of you as subhuman. But, thankfully someone "shoved a bible in my face" and I learned about a man, fictitious or not, who lived a clean life. And it inspired me to emulate him and try to live my live as well as I could. It's a direct attack, and the OP was doing NOTHING to warrant such an attack. She was stating how nice is was that people stand up for their beliefs here. I agree, it's nice. There's no "shoving my morals down your throat" about that, which is what Cynthia's post was about. Cynthia is well allowed to say what she did, especially if someone WAS trying to do what she claimed. But no one was. There was nothing to prompt her. And in case you forgot, this is the ED. Extended DISCUSSION. We discuss and share our opinions. If Cynthia doesn't want anyone's opinions, she should stay in a sound-proof hole until she can learn to be open minded and less biased.
And there's no truth in what she said, only opinion. Opinion isn't always truth.

I used to be Christian, catholic and Mormon in different times, they all say the same thing. If Jesus didn't become crucified then we wouldn't go to hell. We would force to linger without a body. Your making christians look bad, your kind of making them look like people that try to force religion on others. I still believe in god... In a way. I'm a part of Occultism. And i know from experience that this post is going to be extremely jabbed.There is so many people that like to just give up only believe in cold facts and what they can see and touch, no one is open minded anymore, Poor pathetic human race, becoming more filthy by the years.

I agree in some form with what you said. People are to numb these days, to afraid to believe in anything, so instead they chose to believe in nothing or just what they can see. But the part I don't agree with is you saying that the OP is making Christians looks bad. If someone spits on your beliefs you gotta stand up for them, be passionate about something. You don't have to push your ideas on others, personally I know plenty of atheists who I know have firm beliefs in their atheism and that's fine if that's what they chose to believe in. I won't push my beliefs on them and nor will I insult theirs, we both have out reasons for believing what we do. But if they were to start openly insulting my religion? Well that just doesn't stand with me. People need to learn to respect each other and each other's beliefs. Not everyone thinks the same way as you and we all need to be more understanding in that regard.

Ummm, Lucifer and Satan aren't necessarily the same entity in the bible. Never did it give the story of Lucifer to Satan in the bible. It's just kind of assumed from a few different verses. There is very little mention of Satan in fact especially in the old testament. Plus the in the Garden of Eden it is just assumed that the Serpent was Satan, again there is no mention of it just is assumed.
