Please explain to me how I tried to "force my opinion" onto you. I just simply posted a topic in an open forum. I did not pm you telling you you need to 'change your ways' or that 'you're corupt' or that 'the devil has your soul, ou must turn before its too late'. lol I think people who do that are almost as lost as the people they're talking to.

Perhaps "force" wasn't the best word, but that part was in reply to "We all seem to turn a blind eye at the many wrong moral things going on in gaia." You seemed to imply that we needed to set harsher rules in your favor, such as "no ripping apart others' religions" when we should be free to pick it apart and argue it as much as we like on a debate forum such as this.

At least, that's the way I read it.

I just read a post about some guy who thinks that Jesus's sacrifice was nothing. The response that other gaians gave made me feel a lot better about Gaia in general. We all seem to turn a blind eye at the many wrong moral things going on in gaia. I am guilty myself, I just want to say it's nice to see christians stand up for their beliefs even in a place like gaia where so many people scoff at our beliefs, or dont understand them therefore say they are wrong.

I think its all bull.
His sacrifice didnt give us anything and if it did than I would be surprised.
I think all religious acts and theorys are over rated and absurd.
If god and Jesus are so damn great and amazing than why the f**k have so many people suffered and died innocent without their help?
I have lost many friends in the past few years and I will tell you I have never seen an act of God to save anyone I loved.

And, His sacrifice gave us a chance at eternal life. With out Him we would all burn in hell for eternity. I don't know about you but I'd much rather walk with Christ in streets of gold then be sent to a place of weeping a gnashing of teeth.

I have studied religion for years of my life and I could be the Antichrist for all I care.
They arent perfect and God is nowhere near omnipotent.
Omnipotent is full power over everything and if so then he created Lucifur (the 666th angel) and Lucifur beetrayed him and created evil.
If God is omnipotent then he could have changed that OR he created Lucifur so Lucifur would bring the ashes of hell to us.
Either way I wont ever trust in any higher power.

If you have truly studied religion for years s you say then you would know that I dont refer to the streets of gold as a source of money. Its just simply what the Bible says is in Heaven.

Explain. I'm not quite sure what you mean here by "wrong moral things". That kind of thing can have different meanings for different people. There are probably many things you consider immoral that I do not. For example, marijuana use doesn't bother me in the least.

You obviously don't know much about God or Jesus Christ and reley on what other lost people have told you. Try picking up a Bible before just taking in what everyone says that sounds good to you.

The "wrong moral things" that I refer to (and yes this is MY opnion) is gay/bi/lez all over the place, cybering like its just a harmless hobby, and in general ( I know generalities get ppl in trouble) the topics of conversation in the forums and in the town.

As far as releying on your own personal strength. Why? Why do it? Your own strength is microscopic compared to what God could provide you. Your strength and mine and everyone elses on earth is NOTHING. With God though you can have the strength to not faulter or turn hard when your mother dies. Or when a friend gets shot in a driveby you have support, and some one to lean on, who understands. A dead mother cant do anything for you, but God is ALWAYS there for you.

As far as God's Ten Commandments go, its quite easy to ask for forgiveness and spend eternity with him in Heaven. God has no wish for you to go to Hell. All you have to do is repent and ask him into your soul for etenity and BAM your saved.

And yes, God DOES love you.

You claim your god to be compassionate but ignore the suffering of millions to do so. Why does God allow suffering in such numbers, but "saves" a few individuals?

What did I tell you about keeping your morals away from me? Not only does it not matter since Gaia isn't a Christian site, homosexuality isn't even against the bible. I'll give you the link to the thread that proves it, if you want to.

Hmm ok, What I ment by the commetns and such at the bottom of my first post is exactly what I got. I have no problem with people "ripping" apart what you call my religion. I acully enjoy it, I can defend what i believe because I know it to be true. I dont waver on what I believe and ther is no gray spot, for that I am thankful for.
I realise the moral part is my opinion based on what I believe God looks opon as good and in his favor or not. I am very guilty in many "inmoral" acts, but I know God will forgive me and I try my best.
