Okay! This is just something i though up right from the top of my head. I allow arguing and comments, but please don't throw any profanity and cursing, because I really just don't feel like it. Anyway. xd I was looking up my favorite games off of VJ and I thought about something great. -

You know how you get bored of a game after you beat it or just get lost in the story line not knowing what to do and you don't play it for, lets say, a few months, days, or weeks? But, come on people, lets face it! You will eventually get back on that game and try to beat it again or finally progress in that darn storyline that you gave up on five weeks ago OR maybe the sequel to that game came out and you will most likely be dying to get your hands on it!
Well, I -from the top of my head- picked out 3 of the games that are just like this. I understand that
THESE GAMES MAY BE FROM my PERSPECTIVE, BUT I KNOW THAT YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THE WAY I FEEL. THESE GAMES ARE NOT PARTICULARLY RANKED OR RATED IN ANY ORDER, BUT YOU ARE FREE TO DO SO YOURSELF.

Animal Crossing : [ when I first received this game from the flee market, i was actually curious if the game would really be any fun at all. But this curiosity turned in and unbelievable addiction. After a while the addiction turned into a once in a while thing. Now I still love the game, but I'm not addicted to it. I still mosey my way back on it to pass the time away if i have to. I will never be totally bored of the game and I will always keep it in my heart. smile ]

The Legend of Zelda : [ The first Zelda game I had was for the gamecube and it was The Wind Waker. I thought that this game was the best game in the world and I played it whenever I had free time and I had A LOT of free time. I kept giving up and then going back, then giving up again and going back. I finally beat it 3 years later when I recieved the knowledge of the internet. sweatdrop Hahaha... I also loved Twilight Princess, and it didn't take me as long to beat as The Wind Waker. I think that all of the Zelda games have always been as addicting as the next. ]

Pokemon : [ Okay, It have to admit that I will always be addicted to pokemon games. Something about the idea of being in another world full of awesome and cute pokemon that you can catch, raise, and battle to become the best trainer in the region AND defeat some bad guys made me want to escape from reality and dive into my game. I always get lost in the story line, and gave up, but then I came back to progress again. I think pokemon games are absolutely perfect for hand-held systems, like the Gameboy Advance, Color, and the Nintendo DS. For every hand-held sytem I had, I always carried a pokemon game with it. ]

AND HARVEST MOON...

PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT ANY OTHER GAMES YOU THINK ARE TOTALLY ADDICTING. smile
Ratchet and clank
pokemon
starwars battlefront 2
Pokemon for sure.
This is just for me, but Earthbound/The Mother series.

Other than that:

Elite Beat Agents

Harvest Moon

Pokemon

Mario

Metroid

Etc. I'll play stuff over a lot depending on what genre I'm feeling like^^

Hmm I never really heard of Elite Beat Agents. What game system is it on?

Fashionable Gaian

Super Mario Bros 3 - No matter how many times I play it, it never gets old. I must've beaten it 30 times now.

Super Smash Bros Melee - The perfect balance for me. It's always fun to jump in and blow off some steam.

I don't really have a real 3rd, but I'll put Golden Sun in that spot - Possibly my favorite RPG ever.

It's for the DS. You tap dots on the screen in rhythm with the music that's playing. I dunno why, but I got addicted. Now I'm eagerly awaiting a sequel.
Persona 3/FES/4, Burnout(any), GRID, Supreme Commander/Forged Alliance, Need For Speed(any except for UC(didn't install)),Far Cry 2, Super Smash Brothers, and that's all I can think of right now.
ooo also the phoenix wright games never get old!
