I probably could reenter my entry for floral design in padmavati's lotus since that was the flower I used for it lol It'd probably do just as bad. I'm tired from christmas shopping, so I won't enter anything today.

For the Ferryman theme, 2nd place and I both had 139 votes. (I placed 3rd). Should we not both be obligated to the same reward? sweatdrop Just wondering.

Thank you for asking about this. In the case of ties, the submission time becomes the tie-breaker; the earlier submission takes the higher prize.

AAAAAAA I got my first ever 1st place in Runway! In the GCash contest too crying I'm so happy. There were so many good ones, I definitely didn't think I was gonna win.

So far I've got one 1st place, two 3rd place, one 7th, one 8th, and one 10th! More often than not I place pretty badly so this gives me a little bit of hope that my efforts haven't been for naught heart

Absolutely.
I find myself lamenting over items we DO have but that are too old so their layering order makes them useless.
Case-in-point: towels and blankets that lay on the floor but always sit under almost any other background. (And the Music in the Air items that sit behind SO many backgrounds when layered crying )

Absolutely.

Oh my gosh yesss, there are so many great older items that I wish were higher layers. The towels and blankets especially, chairs and a bunch of things from older EIs too. I like clutter, I want clutter, let me make the space feel lived in, gaia plssss

My exact feelings, but with certain handheld items. There's only one accordion item on all of gaia and it is UGLY! Same with sumo wrestling items. Back during that soup theme a month or so ago, i saw people complaining that there were so few handheld bowls that weren't obviously full of frosting or fruit.

There's a bunch of items i feel like there should be, but haven't seen any despite searching. (Who do I have to bribe to get snowshoes and fencing gear on gaia?)

im on my KNEES begging for proper fencing gear that isn't fancy or has weird hands, yes!!
you're so right though, I'd love some arm mods with just Basic Things that don't have other attachments - like bare arms with bowls and spoons, or a violin, or a dang flashlight.
or at least some items having the ability to cut off sleeves - that bakery/bread item is great but I want the tray of sweet treats without the sleeves sad

I was hoping for good fencing gear when on the fencer came out. While I do love that item and recolors for a fantasy avi ( I own at least two of them), it's not an olympic style fencing item. The closest thing to a fencing mask we have is the kendo stuff from the gold shop. We've got rapiers aplenty (though they look less like sport foils and epee for the most part and more like real swords) and there's probably a way to make a rough approximation of the jacket and pants, but no masks. It's also a little difficult to find items that let you wear a single glove.
