Does the Golden Magical Giftbox formula (either of them) work?

If you acquire one, and gather all of the components it calls for, then you can, in fact, craft a Golden Magical Giftbox.

The issue is that the formulas are no longer available anywhere except the Marketplace.

Thats what I thought, but I gathered all the components, and it saiud they were at 100% items required, but they woldn't show up in my 'Ready' tab, and clicking on them just showed a checklist again.

Zzyli gave you a good answer in the other thread you made. The percentage is probably rounding up to 100% when in truth it's like 99.7% or something. View the formula's details and see if there are any red numbers in the list of components.

Hmm...strange...

...it's a level-1 formula, so the problem obviously isn't your level...and even if it were, there would be a message in red on the "Incomplete" tab's listing telling you so. The same's true if the problem were insufficient gold to cover the Crafting Cost, which again is pretty unlikely for this formula...

...Idunno. It just doesn't make any sense that Gaia would bother to add code that prevents the formula from working just because they don't want people using the formula. All I can think of to suggest at this point is for you to show us screenshots of the formula's entry in the "Incomplete" tab and its details in case one or both of us is missing something.

I would have loved to.... but I sold all the components and bought other recipies and items to level a different way...

It really didn't increase. You only get XP for formulas that are your own level, or one level below you. If they're at least two levels below you they're too easy for you to learn anything from crafting them.

It really didn't increase. You only get XP for formulas that are your own level, or one level below you. If they're at least two levels below you they're too easy for you to learn anything from crafting them.

Took me months and months to get it done and had to keep on tweaking it as I am not all that computer literate, so lots and lots of trial and error and then some. Was ready to pull all my hair out before I got it done. Boy was that a learning experience, hope it helps other alchemist. Then Real Life happened, as it does for most of us. My apologies for not asking you first. If you want me to remove it I will.

Lol its perfectly fine. I've been through your thread before and I can tell you put a lot of work into it, I know well enough the struggles you probably went through sorting it all out, took me a loooong time as well to fully finish this massive project I've done.

Good job with what you've done, I'm sure many use it. smile

I just started doing alchemy today. Picked up a bunch of starter kits and worked my way up to level 2. Just trying to figure out the easiest way to go on from here. It seems that many of the components in recipes are either extremely inflated or nonexistent. Kinda discouraging. >.<

If you don't mind playing zomg, you should try the "Orbs Aggregates". It should allows you to move from level 2 to level 3. While you collect orbs, you could probably collect some things to craft caches at the same time too smile

I crafted caches for a friend of mine and orb aggregates to get me to level 3. I too have a problem with paying the inflated prices, especially for things I can collect myself. Which I choose to do. Good Luck in your Alchemy progress.
