I was born and raised in Russia with a Russian mother and honestly, it's not that bad as everyone says it is. You don't see any signs of 'war' with Ukraine anywhere in Russia nor in parts of Ukraine. It's honestly exaggeration. Russia is beautiful yet not as clean as could be. This is from a Russian point of view and someone who spent their whole life in Russia.

this rlly depends where and who but potatoes r pretty common, black bread (not grainy but like normal white bread just brownish) then there's a really common russian soup borsch u can google

its hard man i speak english i can understand russia but its so hard man to learn russian.
