Ahh, good to see some people still collecting. I'm trying to sell off a whole stack of items, but I haven't touched most of my Doll collection yet - and my wishlist is easy enough for me to buy all of right now. Maybe I could go back to collecting. ;3

I'm not sure if I'm happy with all the AT Dolls having being added. Perhaps if they had a separate category, so I didn't feel as though my collection was lacking if I didn't get sponsor Dolls...

It would be a shame to sell off all your hard work if you didn't need to, especially if there is still a chance you would like to keep collecting. As for the AT dolls, I think they have seperated them as much as they can really and at least they come out of a different blind box so you're not forced to have them by accident.

They've got special meanings to me. >w< I couldn't part with half of them even if I needed the gold, honestly. And the amount of time and gold I invested in these babies...

Ahh, is that how the AT Dolls work? Interesting. I'll have to get some just to try it out, I think. <3 The price of some of the Dolls on the market at the moment is insane, though; I'd need to have absolutely nothing to do if I wanted to quest them all again.

I've sadly given up on my quest for SDPlus dolls. It's the first quest I've ever given up on. sad
I was cool when there were 200. 300 was pushing it. And now it's just too much. I got all the way up to 85 dolls, and as fun as it was questing for them, I'm moving on to collecting kitties again.

This isn't me complaining about the dolls, because I think they're great. I'm just putting in my personal opinion that I don't like enough of them for the continual effort of collecting to be worth it for me.

And since I don't want to sit on a partial collection, I am getting rid of some of my dolls. PM me or see my Journal if you're interested in any. I've been looking through doll quests, but I can only do so much searching on my own. xd

I don't think any of us realised it was going to be this big a quest when we started. You certainly won't be the first to say enough is enough.

As it stands this thread is getting very close to breaking point for the second time. As I'm getting very few updates now in regards to users that are still working on their collection I'm planning to get rid of that part of the thread today so I at least have another post I can use. That should allow for the next 150-200 dolls. If we are still going after that then I may have to make a new thread with a bazzillion reserved posts. I will of course let you know should that occur.

I was looking at it when I was collecting to see see which dolls I needed to add, but that was when Gaia was adding dolls at random with no semblance of numbering. Now they just seem to be adding more numbers instead of going back in to fill in the missing numbers. confused

oh sorry to say i look for the new dolls on the list posted in forums.
just because its faster and because i do not know if you have added them yet.

That's completely understandable, especially as due to the timezone I'm not always awake when the new ones get launched. For reference if i'm online at the time they get released then i'll be in this thread updating the newest dolls added post for as long as I can stay awake for. I then generally update the main list, totals etc the next day. But even when I am online the lists in the GCD are not normally far behind me in adding the dolls anyway so that's just a good a method. 3nodding

i dont think there was an annoucement of it.

it was Implemented around May 25th

Yeah I didn't bump because I've been lazy and not completed the update lol. Still need to add the link to the GCD thread, update the totals and put the new dolls in the main list blaugh . It didn't help that I fell asleep after only two of the 5 dolls had been found.
Don't worry I won't let the thread get to the three month mark without posting but thanks for the reminder.

I should finish the update tonight (GMT). All up to date smile

There are a ton that mean something special to me, so I'll probably still keep a good half of my collection or so, and I'll still pick up new Dolls if I really like them or their extra pose, but I don't see much point in keeping a lot of them. Particularly if I want DJs. <.<

I'm putting off selling them, though. They'll be the last to go after the rest of my redundant items.

I'm excited about the updates for Mintaka and Rigel! That was great to see, as is older numbers being used.

Mm, I'm definitely being a little careful with selling those Dolls. I've already been lowballed for a good number of them. *headdesk* And my collection just doesn't feel all that big anymore compared to what it used to be; there have just been so many Dolls added. x__x If I put it off long enough, I honestly wouldn't mind getting back into collecting, as long as I clean off my wishlist first.

EDIT: I voted 'don't mind' for the poll. Well, particularly so now that I'm not questing all the Dolls actively, because I know I couldn't leave them off my list. XD And I don't mind Adventure Time and FMA, although I imagine there would be a couple of potential sponsor series I wouldn't like Dolls of.
